@@alysheimback-nielsen470 if it's of any help, mix your gel with the tiniest bit of purple so it cancels out the yellowing, like with white hair dye or white chocolate.

I make miniatures for adult collectors - in scales smaller than those things (they are still hella cute though because MINIATURE!) 1/12, 1/24, 1/48 and 1/144. 2 months ago I started doing my own nails and right now I am planning a home decor nail set - because why not?? Honestly who DOESN'T love miniature things - my life long love for them started when my mum bought a teeny tiny dictionary when I was about 7. These nails are adorable!

I am SO happy to see food themed nails that are SAVORY! I do not have a sweet tooth at all, but I've been dreaming up taco and burger nails for the longest. I felt too silly to try them but you've helped me to go for it! Amazon, here I come!

I did taco nails on one hand and pizza nails on the other last year!! I was inspired by the scented glitter polishes that came out but I missed out on them, so I made my own! Also made little 3D tacos and pizzas! 🥰
Im glad you went the safe route with the resin and left it off the nail! I was shocked when I found out these were for children because so many resin artists have talked about how hazardous/toxic resin is. Theres a reason they often work in highly ventilated spaces with masks, gloves and gowns. I don't know much about the formulation of the miniverse's resin kits, but I'd definitely believe it should not be touching your skin/nails. The sigh of relief I made lol
This. I play with resin sometimes and I am fully geared up because it really is so toxic... whether epoxy or polyurethane. Absolutely uncured resin should never touch skin, but not even sure how cured resin would do with people with sensitive skin. That said, these are so stinkin cute!
I think the UV resin is less toxic than the two part resin, but kids shouldn’t be playing with either. This is a toy for adults.
Yes I couldn't believe it when I saw they give you resin in an actual food-styled container! Especially after watching a few ChubbyEmu videos where adults will go to hospital from accidentally taking a swig of something like pesticide they'd stored in an old drinks bottle. Those toxic chemicals will actually have labels "do not mix or store in food containers" - meanwhile in the toy aisle... 😢
As a nail artist and a miniatures fanatic who builds intricate fairy gardens in her spare time, i can say this is an easy crossover in my brain. Ive used my nail things to create really cool stuff for my fairy gardens
