Lol i watched the "Finland culture shock" video before this one and just assumed she was some kind of big vlogger on RUclips, i don't usually watch vloggers but the production quality led me to assume thid channel was pretty big. Now she says and i paraphrase "yay 2k subs" and i am like... Wut...
My expressions subconsciously revert to my ‘Korean’ head from time to time (since I’ve been invested in the people and culture for a long while). For example, I automatically used phrases like “아이씹” (I think that’s how it’s spelled) and use “뭐/뭐에요” and “아라써,” even when conversing in English, without realizing it. I’d be lying if I said that binging dramas didn’t play any part in it. 😂
This video is amazing. She does it exactly like the female Korean actresses I know (like in the movies, W two worlds apart,I am not a robot, my first romance...)😂😍😍 Epic video
Hiii new subscriber from Turku, Finland! I love your personality - you seem so cheerful and bubbly! Along with the Korean culture videos you mentioned you'd make in the future, do you also think you can make videos about Finland (your own experiences, vlogs, etc)? That would be so cool!
I've watched too many kdramas so I've started to sound like some of these too x) I go around screaming 'omo' all the time when something happens or I drop something or while I play games and say 'aiissh' when something annoying happens :)
Guys, Korean is my 2nd language and I'm just gonna say it for some of y'all immature people in the comments... SAYING THESE DOES NOT MAKE YOU A "KOREA-BOO" Especially if you're learning the language. If somebody was saying German expressions because they've gotten used to it you wouldn't say "Tsch, you're so cringey, trying to act all German and all", you'd simply just say "Okay, I guess they're learning or speak German." Speaking Korean doesn't make you a Korea-Boo and in fact many people teens in Korea (Even adults and children! Even ELDERS) make the sounds in this video. It's completely normal.
She could practically keep the same expressions but tone it down about 95% then replace everything with "no niin" (in serious matters with "perkele") and pass as a Finnish person at any situation without fail.
Omg!! I'm love with your videos!! They are so good and funny to watch!! I'm from Finland and I love South Korean culture! I like to listen k-pop and watch k-dramas!! I will wait more good videos like this!! Sorry my bad english!! :D
I tried to describe a sound I hear in k-dramas and korean vlogs to my boyfriend but he didn't quite get it. I showed him this video and you did the exact sound in the first 40secs of the video! Perfect 😂
This was so funny! I've watched a lot of Korean videos (variety shows, dramas, vloggers etc.) so many of these sounds are already familiar to me but hearing them seperately like that, it sounds hilarious😂
Haha that was so funny! I love Kdrama’s & I always find myself saying little phrases like the ones shown in this video. I’ve just subscribed I can’t wait to see more videos xx
Perkele, I already do most of these (minus most of the hissing-esque sounds).. I guess the amounts of Japanese and Korean stuff I've consumed has had an effect on my behaviour.
Just checked two your videos and I'm amazed, you make really funny and amazing videos! :) I found it interesting that when koreans want to talk they shake hand, for me, into the "byebye" direction. Hanging up also sounds like koreans would be in the middle of conversation. :D Very educating video, good luck for your channel! :) -Subscriber from Finland
hii from finland ☺️💕your videos are good and i really enjoy to watch them! im Army and intrested about south korea, wanna know more about that country and i actually admire koreans, also you so thank you for going these great videos!! fighting ~
안녕하세요 I’m currently obsessed with Kdrama’s like Healer, Miss Panda & Mr Hedgehog and Strong Girl Bong Soon just to name a few, so these tips will give me a better insight into understanding what certain sounds and phrases mean as most subtitle text won’t cover this area and sometimes it can be a little perplexing, so 고맙습니다. 🇳🇿😍❤️😍🇳🇿
randomly came across this video.. somehow reminds me of my dad's korean bosses🤣 and i started to pick up these talking habits unconciously ever since i became a kpop fan, esp these 3 아이쉬, 어, 야 야 야!! and 아이그~ lmaooo
In example #11, I'm pretty sure your sound/response for "no" is only used in your dialect/region (heard you use Busan dialect in another video) - Never heard anyone in Seoul / near-area use it when I was there.
EVERY K-DRAMA IN THE WORLD MADE INTO 3 MINUTES AND 39 SECONDS!😂😘
i started behaving like this after watching too many kdramas hhahaha

I have heard #7 quite a lot and it takes me out every time I love that sound for some reason.

I just found your channel and it seems very very fun❤ greetings from Finland
It's so interesting how some of these sounds are quite similar, but then again they mean different things.

Learn the word Perkele and you sound half finnish already.
