One of the best things in Finland are those summer nights when it's sunny and warm and the lake is like a mirror. The water is so warm and you can swim for a long time. When you get too cold you can go to sauna to warm up.
Päivää🙏👋 so like me, you prefer the winter season than the summer. It's really too hot in summer. I understood in this video, finnish peoples like so much, chicken wings. I prefer the fish 🐟🐬🐬
I lived in Tampere, Finland for 2 years and i could easily relate to everything you said and coming from Asia, I definitely miss the Snow and swimming in the freezing lake (Avantouinti) and sauna in the winter
@@SoulofSol Amsterdam is quite small but has a lot of people so it's impossible to keep the personal space I would like 😅 Once I find a good editing software I will start posting vlogs again~ ps. I miss you 💜
I just moved back to Finland from Korea a couple of weeks ago, and I miss Korean weather! Haha, I don't like the rain and cold that we get in southern Finland for like 9 months of the year. 저는 서울에 작은 원룸에서 살았는데, 그때 괜찮지만 지금 좀 더 큰 집 찾고싶어요~ And they sell some Fazer chocolate in 신세계백화점!
1:30 as a Finn who has always hated wintersports, youre doing amazing! I would prefer the temperatures you mentioned as long as öakes for swimming were available. Since the good swimming season in Finland last for less than 3 months, yet we got like 10% covered in water (and mostly small lakes with plenty of well maintaned beaches)
I think that Finland is underestimated as being a good summer country. As a native finn I can say that if weather is good in summer Finland is just awesome. Nature is so beautiful and it also gives a lot of activities to do. For example you can go fishing, swimming to a lake (in summer their water temperature is usually like +18-25 degrees so it's pretty pleasant to swim). And luckily in last few years summers have been warm and not those rainy ones, which are not rares in Finland. Yes Finland is a beautiful country especially in summer.🥰🇫🇮🌄 My profile photo is from my summer cottage from North Karelia and it's absolutely fantastic out there.
It's kind of interesting that most foreigners (including my self) find weather in Finland and Sweden to be quiet nice, even though most Swedes and Finns complain about the weather way too much. They need to realize that in any country you get overcast days here and there.
If you like lots of personal space (well, at least physically) and can brave the cold, you should visit Saskatchewan, Canada (when we can travel again)! The weather is best in the late spring summer and early fall but if you can brave the winters, they have their won very harsh beauty. Just bundle up cuz it can get to -40 C.
Hello! Well i miss the korean fried chicken, gamjatang, soju, hemisul, korean thinking and people. The hectic city of Seoul ❤️ Food is cheaper in korea and the street food is amazing. But yeah in finland we have the vest candy, sauna and lakes!
In Finland there is over more than 2 million saunas. In Finland every person has access to sauna. If people don't have their own personal sauna they still have the apartment complex sauna. Everyone has their own turn and everyone has at least 1hr time to go to sauna every week. Also in apartment complex saunas there is usually some days "lenkki sauna", women go together and men go together at their own turn. Usually everyone has their own sauna tho. Not just in houses but in apartments too. There is also "savu sauna" in Finland, usually in people's summer gottages. It's just like sauna but it's filled with smoke, pretty weird that one. In conclusion Finnish people love their sauna.
I have never heard anyone say that they like the Finnish weather, that's an odd one for me :D For me actually it's the other way around, the Korean weather is perfect for my taste. I have been in Soul at pretty much every season there is and idk I just really like it.
Many of the words in Finnish are related to ones in Korean and Japanese, especially to Korean words. And it's a lot of words that are similar. Also as well as to Turkish and Mongolian words. It's a Ural Altaic sprachsbund now. It used to be called a family but they couldn't back the idea that all of the main ones descended from the same protolanguage.
As someone who hates mosquitos and can not sleep if they are in my room, they often fly through open holes and if your doors are open. Use more mosquitos nets, open only windows with nets and close your doors, esspecially those leading to your bedroom. Always have a venom spray around. Mosquitos like to hide in shady places (i. e. behind/under furniture) and attack, when it's dark. Sometimes, they might stil attack, if there is light. Spray venom in the entire room, in case you can't find them and in all tight spots to get them out of their hiding. One sprinkle is enough, to kill them.
There are lots of spaces to mosquito enter the house. The mosquito net need to be tight, if the holes have the size of the mosquito with wings closed, it can pass with a low probability, but I saw one passing, luckily, it came with high speed, close the wings and passed in from of my eyes. Little gaps in windows or doors can let too. And for the last, some mosquitoes rest in the door outside, and when you open it, you have a new room mate.
Thank you for sharing your nice memories. We are travelling with friends to attend their daughter's wedding in Seoul in June. To save space for shopping, we start with empty luggage. We can easily bring you salmiakki if you tell us which ones you like best.

I've been to Seoul and personally I enjoyed the weather in Korea more than here in Finland. I loved the mountains and scenery. People were extremely friendly. I kinda miss it tbh.
I am from Germany and the cold weather used to bother me so much. Now I live in a tropical county. Maybe start with Cowspiracy it is the easier to watch.
Koreans are used to snow and they feel Finland is cold. for me even few drops of snow I can't touch the floor it will feel like burn. Germany itself is cold I can only survive one or two days in snow evening in a month outside. but the twilight is great

Hello soulmate! A few days back I read an article from newspaper, that wings is the number one most ordered delivery food in Tampere. When you said wings I was "what...really?" Then you showed the Siipiveikot sauce and I went: "ahaaa!" What happens in summer in Korea, do people escape the heat from the cities and go to country side? Does Soul have good beaches, or do you need to leave the city? Yeah that Korean summer is a bit too much for me. Summer is the only season in Finland I really love: not too cold, not too hot, just temperate and gentle. Oh that was an interesting observation you had about Korea's culture changing what comes to private personal matters! Actually I'm surprised it changes to the direction you said. Because in social media people carelessly share EVERYTHING, I was thinking more likely the change would be towards less privacy. Any idea what's behind the change? Yeah the Finnish coffee roasters buy the best - and most expensive - coffee beans in the world. That's one reason why it tastes better than your random foreign coffee roaster's product. But we don't have that coffee culture where you have 1001 different kinds of coffees with most extraordinary toppings. Cheers, enjoy your wonderful season in Korea!
