I saw them at the sunset tavern in Seattle. Probably the best live set I’ve ever witnessed. Absolutely incredible band, up there with the greatest post punk revivalists-protomartyr, idles, squid, women, etc... Their western gothic/dark Americana vibe is something else.
It's like a soundtrack for an unpublished Cormac McCarthy novel that never existed. I love this band so much... They actually played in my country in Skopje, Macedonia in 2013, alongside A Place To Bury Strangers AND SOMEHOW I MISSED THIS SHOW.
Genuinely one of my favourite bands now! Shadow on Everything is a haunting storytelling masterpiece... Can't wait to see them next time they come to the UK!

There's a sound here that is good, but is disappointingly one dimensional. They could've done so much more for each song. I want to see them jam out or maybe have a collaboration with another artist. It might be more interesting to listen to. So close to having something great to listen to if only they had more variation.
Attila vágány I'm pretty sure that's a result of his singing style and not the mix. He isn't particularly articulate I'm not sure that's even a criticism to be honest. That's like calling heavy metal singers inarticulate
ok but then why bother to write lyrics ? and what is the point of the singer ?.....same goes to heavy metal.....if noone can understand the words....then why are there words at all ? it would be much more powerfull instrumental right ? the meaningless vocals is just confusing
Attila vágány I honestly think that's a valid criticism of the genre. But I suppose there's a difference between criticizing a genre, and criticizing an individual band simply following that genre That's like criticizing pop music for using cliché melodies. It's part of the style I support your right to criticize the genre. And I probably agree with your criticism. But I'm not convinced the band is at fault for letting their artistic passion take them to this route

As amazing as this sounds y'all really gotta see them live at a show. They are such intense performers when they have a whole stage.
The Roadhouse is proud to welcome: Bambara!
Thinking the EXACT same thing since I came across these guys.

The Nick Cave is strong in this.
I’m on a birthday party kick at the moment. The timing couldn’t be better.
Yes, but Nick is still the master.
GUN CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!
Feels like I've been swept up in an ocean and rolled around in a wave...moving, powerful and inspiring. Best live act around
I can't see anything but a perfect set
i know, right? my fave shirt atm is my bambara shirt, i love them that much.
Okay but is nobody going to talk about how smoothly the drummer fixed his headphones at 6:00 though
Boy.. get off under your rock.

Just witness Bambara live set in Montreal... Wow! One of the best band to see live! Amazing stuff!👍🔥
The Bambara vs headphones saga begins
Rebar ‘round my handsome bust. Way to be the best of the best out there. Such an awesome energy and such beautiful people. ❤️🔥👑🎷🦕
shadow on everything is such a brilliant and cohesive album; I love the miserable noise of the tracks from SWARM as well this band man so good
They're gonna be huge. I can't wait.
Still waiting to catch this lot in Southampton (now delayed further until April 2022). Gutted not caught them live yet......
Saving modern music.

Kinda sounds like Gun Club
must be why I like them then! :)
I don't know if anyone here needed it, but check out Creative Adult's album Fear of Life too.
The sound is amazing!

Dude try out their new album. I think it's exactly what you want. Tons of variety while still feeling like its in the same album.
i don't hear the vocal at all ....don't understand a word.....just mumlbing......it's a shame because the music is outstanding ....

Attila vágány I mean.... The description says "grimy noise rock band"
