I imagine the conversation to be like everyone wanting and forcing Michael to let Toby participate but he's like "I don't want you to ruin this thing with your face in front of the camera so why don't you just get behind the camera?"
The thing you describe with an bird's eye display and all the pawns showing movement, industry usually calls it a camera map. Maybe you can ask some of the people from the episode if they made or still have anything like that! :)
I’d like to point out that a half-sibling isn’t the same as a step-sibling. Half-siblings share one parent. Steps are the children of your parent’s spouse from previous relationships. As a child from a second marriage I consider my half-siblings, aka my father’s two kids from his first marriage my siblings. We have the same dad, same last name. We’re not steps.
Yeah I realized I was using the words interchangeably when I was editing. Think I said “step part of his family” and meant the part of his family which is a result of his step father.
Personally, I think it kind of shows Michael hasn't grown at all. Once again the only reason he finally punishes Luke is because Luke's poor performance is affecting the coworkers' attitudes towards HIM. If there's no consequences to him personally, he really doesn't care.
Nepotism is in the bottom half of Office episodes for me, but The Office is in the same category as sex and pizza. Even when it's bad, it's still pretty good. 8 out of 10 for me.
@@skiprockjr.6881 i meant what number haha since an 8 out of 10 is low FOR an office episode. I do agree though the banker has to be one of if not the lowest possible one.
The nepotism is wide spread problem on the regim because you like it or not besides AOC and Paul Gosar there is noone that put half of effort like them and gosar even fail on the rep. Speaker and still more competent or caring about his cause every else is a joke and i guess the florida guy gatz ,gates? Idk how is supposed to be spell his name
Agreed. It's like the writer tried to delegate his job to the actors, director and camera crew instead of trying to actually write something funny. Maybe the writer is related to someone high up in NBC and that's the actual joke in the cold open.
Dude why so few likes and followers, The Algorithm better pick you up soon - you have amazing talent at editing, I've been binge-watching for days. You should Get Paid.
This is my favorite cold open. That is a song from my era, like 1968. It was done so well by the cast that the song seems timeless. I liked Stanley’s part. It was small, but it showed him being part of the group and having a little fun which I feel is a bit of a departure for his character. The other episodes where Stanley joined in with fun were the meatball episode and the “…and shove it up your butt” episode. 🤣
I hated the cold opening - I'd say it's probably the worst of any episode. It may be impressive that the actors, director and camera crew were able to pull it off, but it felt like a copout to me. Cold opens are meant to be funny and are probably some of the hardest content to write on The Office. This wasn't funny at all. It's like the writers were trying to outsource their job to the rest of the team this episode. 0/5.
Now nepotism is Objective GOOD bad for everyone else but GREAT for one self and a good way to start a generational wealth and aquire skills saying "ah but is coz of you dad or mom" is cope is bad if you don't use that opportunity lbh you have worst issues to deal with it there is no point to be fair with people is that is going to drag you down and affect your wealth
Lol you talk about trump… while our current leader’s crackhead son uses his dad’s position to get all kinds of unqualified advantages, and give him a cut
Not to argue, because…do your thing…but I just called out what some folks had a problem with. Is mentioning a common complaint against a former president as a tool to explain the concept of nepotism truly too much to handle?
@@MulverineNot a dig, but I believe you're being disingenuous here. There are thousands of other examples outside of politics you could have chosen. Hey - I didn't take it as a dig...well...the "dislike" and the thumbs down emoji cut deep (joking). But I'm actually genuinely curious. I'm not being disingenuous or coy. It was one sentence that I could use to draw in the feelings on the topic of nepotism quickly regardless which side of the issue someone may reside. Really seems like fair territory.
@@Mulverine I'll give you that the emoji may have been a step too far on my part lol. "Ryan you make it so hard to love you sometimes.." gets me every time in the cold open
I love Jim’s goofy “peanuts” dance at the end, only because it came about because Rainn dared John to do it
Yes! And Phillis is doing the same dance from Cafe Disco (similar at least)

For the cold opening.. my favourite was Pam, it was nice to see her let loose
that's two things, he said name one
@@LuluLaRue Pam Pams
Yep gotta love Pam with her killer "b"s (@) (@)...bouncy bouncy 😉
Darrel didn’t do the print in all colors program because he had his entire life to do it. He only has one more summer with his knees to play softball
Crap! I didn't remember that. Good continuity.
17:45 Andy did a Creed cartwheel in basically the same place Creed did his!
These videos are awesome man, keep at it! You deserve millions of subs with content this entertaining.
It’s always bothered me that Darryl has nothing in his coffee cup. It just looks like it has no weight to it when he lifts it to his mouth.
Well, I love the cold opening. Someday I hope to be a part of a lip dub. 😁
Pam and Jim dancing, Dwight on the desk, "you got Creed"
Why didn't Quicksilver run away?!
He didn’t see it coming.
LUKE IS JEFFREY DAHMER
holy crap just realized that
I always found it weird that everyone is talking about what they did over summer. As far as i know work doesn’t stop during the summer does it?
Subtle, ongoing joke imo 😆
i guess the documentary crew does
Great job Chris! Wr had a guy just like Luke in our warehouse last year... similar stories same attitude
Yikes! Haha
7:06 unless it’s greys anatomy and by season 7 they’ve killed off three characters and 3 characters have disappeared.

What does a human bean mean?
Someone explain it to Rene
Pam and her pampams
You pronounce 'subsequent' wrong.

How can it get 5 of 5 of its not the best. How do you rate every episode if 'not the best' gets 5 of 5?
