The only thing I'd change about the hc is the sight. I love the way it feels (I have Rangefinder and explosive payload) but I wish it had like steady hand sights
I’m mainly happy that it has Slice (or Demo) with Hatchling for PVE since Kept Confidence mainly had PvP Perks.

@benyoung1224 what's wrong with them? They hit red and orange bars like a truck, Zaoli's and Luna's Howl are great for solar builds, and BD is actually good for Strand builds because it got the perks Kept Confidence should have.

Smallbore/Hammer Forged, Accurized, Perpetual, Zen Moment, and a range mw.
I went ahead and enhanced it and it feels like a more crispy version of Austringer honestly. It doesn't take long for the first stack of Perpetual to kick in and the second one comes shortly after. You don't really have to change how you play to keep the stacks once they're up either, so it's basically a free +20 to handling, stability, and reload. It pretty much entirely fixes the bad stat package and Zen Moment makes it a monster for duels.

I’m farming this s*** for days now, for my PvE Demo/hatchling. I got rapid hit/slice/pugilist/enlightened… all with hatchling. DEMO WON’T COME HOME.
On mine I have corkscrew rifling+ accurized rounds+ rapid hit+explosive payload+range masterwork+75 range and 57 handling
Cork/accurized and range masterwork is only 65 range and 45 handling. Unless you enhance, then it would add stats but 75/57 is not possible on this thing unless you use elecap with an Arc super. Enhanced EC and Fullbore would be 75/80.The only way to get 75 range is with full bore and that leaves you with 32 stab and 35 handling.

Dude I posted about this online in a destiny group. I love that my gun model and it feels so good. I love my true prophecy and steady hand. Bungie brought back a lot of old weapons and left them with crappy stats. That causes them to not be able to compete with other weapons. I’m not saying they should make them better or cracked but at least better. They could have given this thing 3-4 range & +5-6 stability and handling across the board and/or made it a lightweight frame. But why would they do this. Bungo be like that. Personally anything under like 50 stability doesn’t feel good to me.

The way you can move on mouse and keyboard is insane. Moving this fast while ADS on controller is just impossible. Prime example of why cross play should be an option for console players.
Fellow snipers, idk if im trippin or if theres a reason, but i can snipe so much better on aggressive frames, meanwhile on a rapid fire like supremacy where targeting mods push to 100 AA, i cant hit shots worth a dam. Is zoom or range more helpful than AA, or am i trippin?
Bungie seems to consistently fuck up hand cannons they reprise that haven’t been in the game since all 150s got changed to 140. If they would just give these reprised 140s a slight stat bump then maybe they could entice people to use these guns again lol.

Watching this game play (well prismatic gameplay not really this) and then going back and watching game play for 6 months ago. Its a different game. Bungie really stepped it up over with this expansion and the previous season. I am just tired of playing the game which sucks because the game is literally the best its ever been but I just dont have the drive to play.
I don’t know why bungie bothers making some 140s with horrible stats, you’re down 20 range compared to lots of other handcannons and you’re not gonna hit the 3 tap nearly as far
I've went through hundreds of these things looking for perpetual motion, zen moment, accurized and hammer-forged with a range masterwork. I feel like this hand cannon can compete you just need the best one, I've come close to getting it settled on a roll with smallbore/reload masterwork for rn

Yeah, 70 range with zen and the amount of stability you can get, definetly lets it hang, but honestly. I'm thinking Austringer is just far superior, you could go MAX range and still have 69 stability. The stats on that thing are nuts
@@thenexus7343 They are, it really is the superior hand cannon, but with perp motion it can get the better devils feeling good enough, at least on console to compete. I honestly really just like the guns model lol

I'm farming for moving target, zen moment personally. I want smallbore, acc, range mw/stability. I'm gonna be using ophidians on all classes anyways so handling isn't too much of an issue for me. Range and stability are fire.

Yeah idk, imo anything 40 handling or more feels good enough especially with armor mods. I dont need my hc to have 80 range and handling or anything for it to feel good to me
I have a Rose with this exact roll and max range 43. Explosive payload doesn’t seem to care though.

I've been using Better Devils since the beta. I have an Outlaw + Kill Clip roll from Forsaken that's been my go-to in everything besides Trials. It feels way better than its stats imply.
Small, acc,perp,zen,range mw.
It's a good entry level handcannon but that's about it.
It has demo, hatchling for pve tho which is good for strand.
Playing against you and Panduh must have sucked this weekend
I love it in PvE, bc Prismatic and Swashbuckler. For PvP, it feels great but youre facing literally a crafted Austringer at baseline in terms of Kinetic choices
You can get rapid hit/zen moment on this but I haven’t gotten a good 3rd column perk yet the best one I got so far is a demo/frenzy for PvE
A single dexterity mod will give you faster handling times than running fluted and sacraficing range
It really does feel like they made it a PVE weapon this time around.
This thing absolutely RIPS with Threaded Spike and Facet of Bravery. Good for a Gunpowder build as well with Hatchling.
Honestly it's great with slice/hatchling or whatever you want

I think enhanced perpetual motion is a great perk to hunt for on this weapon, to easily compensate for the lack of base stats.
I still think this weapon needs a 15+ stat buff to compete

Hot take, but but the stats on this are fine for a 140. It feels great, but it also feels like it's only effective within a reasonable rang a hand cannon should be effective in, and I like that a lot better than being able to just get 100 range on Igneous Hammer and outmatch scouts and snipers with a 120.
I kinda do too, I would trade dumb range for a better feeling gun with one of the best origin traits in the game, that it actually makes a difference on the gun it's on.
Which is what this gun does.
