Cossor 524 Melody Maker radio Pt 06

Just a demo of the radio, and some of the issues that may be addressed at some time in the future. But for now, it is working at least adequately, although the original Cossor output valve (tube) looks very tired, and that limits the audio quality a little bit. There is also cracking to the knobs, which is because the plastic has degraded somewhat, after around 70 years. I suppose if I had a 3D printer new ones could be made, or copies could be made of resin - but it's nice to keep the originals if possible. A full alignment was not attempted, as the set performs well once the AM IF alignment had been completed. FM also works well, so best left alone I think!
