Gujarat should attract more new investments rather than kust snatching projects anyways meant for a state within a country..it should create its unique identity and invite something different than what already is planned in the country..internal snatching is not a healthy developemment model for a country!

There is time and again efforts from this RUclipsr to create rift between Gujarat and Maharashtra. Fact is India needs more than Mumbai and GIFT city as IFSC centers. For example US had NY, LA, Miami and others as IFSC centers. Why are we as Indians so insecure when any other state other than ours is trying to come up?? almost every bank has headquarters in Mumbai, foreigners consider Mumbai as the most livable city in India, so for decongesting Mumbai film city should be moved out of Mumbai to the new film city that is proposed in NOIDA, also Diamond broking should be moved from Mumbai to DREAM city and some of the import-export companies can be moved near to Mundra if the government plan a city near Mundra.

Even if we agree to the point o decentralization then why Gujrat or again west cost, kolkata is dying slow death why not rejuvenate it, imporove some oth east city given it to central India like Indore Bhopal or If you again give reason of connectivity and things why not Pune, Nagpur.

mumbai being 1 point off GIFT city in the global international finance rankings, without an IFSC, shows just how forced this whole thing is.
Check the list of IFSC's of the world...every country created IFSC in their already developed city that had the ecosystem...by not creating IFSC in Mumbai, we have simply hit the axe on our own toe....GIFT is a greenfield city which will take time to grow...its even far from Ahmedabad..nowhere near port and international fly routes..such decisions should be taken with logic and not with self pride and ego..IFSC would have picked up much sooner in Mumbai and the entire country would have benefitted earlier...there's a huge land parcel of Mbpt...would have been a good place for IFSC if BKC didnt have enough land...just look at the list how odd and stupid this decision looks.
