Facts correction 1. The two way lane ends in Heelalige not in carmelram. 2. The Tamilnadu - Karnataka border station is Maranayakana Halli not Heelalige.

I want a new orange colored vande bharat express to connect from Tumkuru to Mettupalayam via Bengaluru, Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, and Coimbatore.

I have a few comments; - Train should have been operated in Bangalore from either sbc or the new Sir M Vsveswaraya terminal. Cantt is not a great option. - disappointing to see Salem - Bangalore takes 4 hr 10 mins. Travelling by road takes lesser time, but 3 other trains are faster than vb on this route (sbc ernakulam intercity, sbc cape exp, ernakulam sf). How can VB be only 4th fastest train and not THE fastest train between two cities ?! - train should ve run via bangarpet-jolarpet. This could have reduced the journey time. - is this the VB with maximum stops between two cities for such a short distance ? A distance of 340 km has 5 stops !
Bangalore cantonment to Coimbatore (Daily trains travel time) 1. Kanyakumari express - 6hr 35 min 2. Ernakulam express - 6hr 40 min 3. Kochuveli express - 7hr 4. Vande Bharat - 6hr 30 min. All trains travel in almost same time. So travelling in Vande Bharat train is a luxury. No use of Vande Bharat to ordinary people.
It can start after 0600 am in Coimbatore to cater to the needs of rural folks also there; the change of departure time will also help it run with fully occupied to help the service viable in the long run..
