Then you'd basically take ONLY the 'top tier' of applicants by year, evaluate their requirements against the job and pick the best applicant from the bunch. I think it is hypocritical to say we should allow immigrant workers to prioritize themselves by racial superiority for simply having a different appearance. My suggested method has nothing to do with race. It has to do with years of service, sweat, blood and tears to this country. There were plenty of Asian immigrants back in the 1800s who our legal Asians are related to...that would put THOSE people ahead of the guy who came here last year. There are some black folks that would be ranked hired then some white folks. Its the most FAIR way I can suggest to assign work in North America as well as deter any illegal immigration in this country. This approach also encourages 'integration', marrying into older more established families which might promote more success in North America. I don't think paternal or maternal chain of your heritage should matter. Just identify the longest chain. You NEED to be related to that longest chain person. Not your spouse. Your kids naturally adopt the level of their higher tier parent. If an immigrant cannot find a 'marital sponsor' into the country it should be exceedingly difficult to find work. If you were the business owner promoting economic success we should have no problem with you owning that company, but you should be required to follow the recruitment guidelines based on lineage for hiring staff. The same goes for lower tier folks. If they have an amazing skill and create their own business they are absolutely able to own it, but hire others who are qualified and long term citizens. You should be able to continue as is, building and selling their own products, brand or skillset to the masses. Now that tier is halved...making it easier for the tier below to access higher paying jobs. Two top tier working folks would have less kids then a Top tier dude who married lower and their spouse didn't work if he can support that. It will balance itself out. These folks taking jobs STILL need to be educated in the correct degree and be qualified. Lets say a top tier family had too many kids and couldn't pay for all of their schooling, then that kid would be expected to work a minimum wage job, put themselves through school BEFORE joining the qualified work force. If they weren't inclined, or academically achieving enough they'd be stuck with a priority pass to a minimum wage job. Oops. We're going to end up with a hybrid equation for success combining years of service and wealth to succeed. But we will reward folks with making sure they'll survive in some type of employment if they're the families that's contributed the longest. When would this formula be applied? On new job hiring. People would be discouraged from leaving their current employer IF they weren't a higher tier. They can apply to new roles but might not qualify to move. The current company would support you as long as you provide the levels of service they require....and are financially stable enough. So you'd probably want to work hard and try and ensure their success. People moving between US and Canada are a little complicated. A lot of us have ancestors on both sides of the border. Their relative did provide service to Canada but didn't provide ALL their years of service. There should be some kind of penalty. What do you people think?
Then why is it even in these applications in the first place if it doesn't matter... can't really say that others don't care about it if they have systems in place asking your race which can be a factor to not getting the job... which we see in the job market as a fact... homogenized work forces that have one race of people working their where people tell that other that is not the correct race they aren't a "good fit"... People moving between US and Canada are a little complicated. A lot of us have ancestors on both sides of the border. Its your prerogative how you want to handle that. I would suggest if someone is American with the longest service Canadian ancestor from the 1700s...but their ancestor down that branch immigrated into the US 100 years ago and now wants to come back maybe you have to dock them to be equal to the '1800' ancestors instead. Their relative did provide service to Canada but didn't provide ALL their years of service. There should be some kind of penalty.
What do you people think?
Does that sound like equality to you?. So a new skilled immigrant with no roots in the country stands no chance.
My application doesn't have a race on it cuz I don't care about that and no one else does either
I've gotten more office job interviews listening the correct race for the career field than my actual race.... they see me an try to not hire me or they hire me by phone surprised I am not the right color yet they hired me.... so it matters a lot hints why so many are left out of lawful income I honestly can understand why they do crime more so than others.... being they also get the education but overlooked for biases such as race.... LOL
You can know someone's race from their name
The workforce should reflect the demographics of the population in that city. Racism is rampant in Tech sector in USA.
Not many make it in CS. They also go to grad school if they do and tech doesn't really care to hire graduates unless they showed they deserved to go to grad school.
💥Factuality-Reality💥
Uk it is so sad 😞 right now
Benefits : yearly free boots 😅
stupid hiring system compared with europe
It's 2019!
Just as much as it has to do with race-based incarceration practices.
@@progressivelibertarianview8832 can confirm that it is current year.
it will be the same in 3019.
Nonsense
How is America 33 % lmao hahahah
Cuz Canada has far more racism. I only got one callback here in the GTA while I got well over two dozen interviews in the same time.

I love my white privilege and it saddens me that modern tendencies are taking them away from me. I'm white, tall, handsome, and a young man. Why can't I use these advantages in the job market?
Rent-free. Lol
Yup.
