How do I take ALL the parts from an subassembly and pull them all out to the top level? Mine will let me pull 6 of the 7 parts out, but never lets me pull the last one. Regardless of with item I decide to do last.

Did you try deleting the constraints for the stubborn component?

Why the hell can't CREO move patterns to subassemblies from top?
This feels like a massive oversight.
think of all the constrains you potential could lose

I don’t know. But only the first component in a pattern is constrained and you don’t lose those.
