Gutter Cleaning with the Skyvac

Good job I always use a camera when I'm cleaning gutters. Had an issue with a screw that was in the wrong place on this job, having the gopro helped me identify the culprit. I'm really enjoying using the skyvac industrial, they seem to have sorted out all the points where you used to get blockages.

Just done my own. Used my old Numatic George I've had since around 1990 and bought a 3 meter length of waste pipe and a connector to join an existing pipe and some elbows, job done, cost under £6.

@jgvfyufcgvk9234 I tried this with my Vax, but the push-fit 32mm waste pipe is slightly too small ID to fit over my Vax pipe. Or maybe you use the solvent weld pipe? After some research, it seems there is a lot of variation in the (wall thickness) tolerances of these waste pipes. So that maybe the problem - just try different pipes for fit.

How long does it take to clear the gutters on a house that size???

Perhaps add a quick turn shut off valve on your end so you can stop vacuum power and drop clogs without having to bring the tip down to clear by hand. Also wonder if you could install the camera on the vacuum tube. I'm sure you thought of these things before. Good job!

I do have a quick release valve, but sometimes it’s just easier to pull it off by hand, especially when the pole is short

Does this system have a narrower nozel attachment when you come across tile and gutter gaps that are quite narrow.

Thanks for the video, I am in the process of starting a gutter cleaning business in Florida. I was wondering do you plug in at the customers house? I suppose that is a basic question, the reason I ask is Skyvac in the USA recommends bringing your own generator instead of asking to plug in. Thanks

I use a calendar system for customers so they schedule their clean (Calendly) using this they tell me whether they’re going to be there and or whether they’ve got an outside sockets. If they haven’t I’ve also got the option of plugging in a cable and just hanging out of the window or out of the door. So yes I plug in at their house and this negates the need for a generator.

What do you do if your system does not remove a blockage as is see no ladders on you van.

It’s extremely rare this happens. But Yes we do not guarantee to get everything out of the gutter but if this is the case then we always share the information with the customer.

If there are blocked it you problems use a ladder take a hose and unblock
