Love the look on the face of the guy behind the counter, like "I..I didn't know it had that many locks and its my door..."
I think its more like "Wait... he's not scared of anyone... but he's scared of this guy? Um... oh, oh."
Lol dude brought his own locks from home just in case.
and his high pitched voice tho, 'how can I *help* you?'
The fact that all three thugs paid close enough attention to what the old guy said and how he reacted after seeing that tattoo shows that the thugs have a little bit of intelligence to recognize that they were in a bad situation. Their full cooperation was clearly their only option.
Greatest sleeper action movie of the last decade.
GREAT comment.... totally agree! Can't count the number of times I've watched this clip, lol.
@@berniemcginley3616 mee too :)
Absolutely
@Phil_X LMAO.... JUST watched it, again, last night!
The kitty cat bracelet line plus doc brown strapped with 200 lbs of shotguns. I recommend this movie to everyone lol
One of my favorite things about this scene is how quickly the room shifts. As soon as the one guy realizes who Hutch is and the rest of them see his reaction, they immediately understand this is not someone you want to fuck with.
I love the tattoo parlor scene. The men’s faces as the old guy clicks all the locks and covers the window. LOL
Not as good as "OH"!
I still like this scene, the 27 door locks click was over kill. Now closing the window did add a touch.
This was a surprisingly great flick. If you like John Wick, seriously give this a watch. I wouldn't have guessed Odenkirk had it in him, but he pulls it off.
there has to be plans to do a Nobody/Wick movie in the future.
He actually pulls it off quite well. He has an edginess about him that isn't apparent at first.
Yeah it was not believeable when scrawny little Odenkirk beats up a group of big solid Russian thugs on a bus.
But for the rest of the movie he pulls off a decent investigation/revenge plot.
Fantastic actor, but he should havd hit the gym for 3 or 4 months first to really play the part. Being a great actor alone is not enough when your physical presense looks weak and you do fight scenes
GIVE ME THE GODDAM KITTY-CAT BRACELET!! Effin' priceless 🤣
Put the bunny back in the box
Lots of questions but haven't seen a comment about this outside replies. That tattoo is seen as an unwinnable hand in poker. It's given to soldiers, typically special forces, who were sent on an impossible mission and managed to survive. That's why the vet specifically recognized it.
So he’s John Wick
No John Wick does his own tattoos...
with a PENCIL
How can I help you? High pitched with a quiver... LMAO!
This move had no damn business being this good.
No pointless bullshit, 90 minutes straight to the point
This movie is absolutely amazing
Timur Bekhtambetov is an outrageously good director
And the bus scene is best fight scene of a decade
Absolutely!
Started watching because of “Saul”.
Was convinced/hooked at the first scene.
Wise Words 👌
The neutered sound of him saying “ Can I help you?” Was almost worth the whole movie!
I loved how hutch just realized that they were just desperate people that made a bad decision and was upset that he couldn't kick someones butt. Then he relished when worried gangsters got on the bus. He had enough bullets and skills to end them all quickly but he emptied the gun and said "I am going to f you up" lol epic movie
"What you all don't seem to realize is, I'm not locked in here with you. You are locked in here with me!"
Old timer knows what that tattoo means... No witnesses. 🤣
The tatoo is a 7-2 hand in poker, meaning the worst hand/odds in poker. They send him out when everyone else fails and he gets the impossible jobs done.
Oldtimer has become oldtimer because he knows when to disapear.
The look on the face of the guy with the baseball bat as he begins to reconsider all of his life choices is priceless.
Watching this clip made me want to watch the movie again . Loved Christopher Lloyd in this. Just a fun film
This was watched as a nothing else to watch film, oh boy what a find, great movie
Как называется фильм
“There are 3 types of people who as you say ‘flash cheese’. People who don’t know any better, people seeking to intimidate and people who open their fridge and pull their pants down infront of the cheese”
I want a prequel to this. I love all of the non context scenes about his past but I want the context now
I love the tattoo artist face of "Did he lock us out?"
I like how not just the tattoo parlor was concerned but even made the "accountant" raise an eyebrow with all the locks.
His two weapons are surprise and fear and ruthless efficiency
and a third weapon: knowing how to count.
And an almost fanatical devotion to the pope
@@vladtepes97 More importantly knowing Monty Python.

Well played, sir, well played. 👏👏
NoBoDY thought the movie would be this good.
Loved the movie. Shows you can never judge a book by it's cover. More scenes please.
Huh? He looks SF
1:08 That voice crack tho 😂😂😂
Old timer does what people do whenever John Wick enters the room.
What does John Wick do when Chuck Norris enters the room?
What does Chuck Norris do when Bruce Lee enters the room?
They call Steven Seagal 😂😂😂
-oh..
NOBODY.......One Of the Best Movies To Come Out In A Long Time❤
This film is definitely a hidden gem if you haven’t seen it yet
the 7-2 unsuited tattoo is so good
what does it mean?
@@adaminjp 7-2 unsuited is the worst hand you can be dealt in poker
@@PunishedRuh Except for AA over 88, black suited.
@@PunishedRuh Except for pocket Aces with 3-4 callers
Means no chance to win but u can't fold.
The hell kind of door is that ! Got locks like it's the fed or something LoL
Caught me completely off guard
Mr. OdenkirK rocks his roll an the movie is phenomenal
Now one of my favorites
Surprise action film of the decade so far. Casting Christopher Lloyd was inspired, also...
A great movie with incredible scenes, entirely let down by the final action scene which just had the characters pointing guns at the camera and screaming. All the intimate choreography that worked for every other scene was tossed out the window.
The line he says about cheese is kinda cheesy and "old timer" is the same age he is
I just love the scene so much. It perfectly encapsulizes "who the f*** are you?"
The film "M.nobody" super raw, i really love it.
I wonder if the old guy has a grandson named Jimmy who is a cop?
...."oh no the professor s FREAKING OUT"!
Loved this movie.
Hoping they make part 2
This scene is top tier
I love this movie
Got to have a basement, love it. Where is part 2?
You see, in this world there is two kind of people. Those with loaded guns and those who dig.
You dig.
Great Movie.
I like this movie. Heard there was a sequel coming out.
Great movie!!
surprisingly great movie.
On the plus side, I’m pretty sure those 2 won’t ever try to do another hare brained “we’ll just scare them with an empty gun, who would shoot us for that?” home invasion ever again. They are insanely lucky that he is as patient and kind as he is or they would’ve been dead in the first 10 minutes of the movie.
One of my favorite movie
Terrific movie. I compare it to Boondock Saints and Sisu as just pure entertainment
This is the moment bob odenkirk became slippin jimmy
Never heard of this movie and sitting around one night looking for something to watch figured how bad could this be plus it had Saul Goodman in it. How did this not get any recognition, I enjoyed it a lot.
Bad ass movie!!!!
I’ve seen the look on that man’s face before.
I know, because I too have FAFO.
Mas películas así!!!!!!!!
To think this all started because of a GD kitty cat bracelet.
Saul Goodman scares people I know😅
THERE ARE three types of people
She had that watch around her wrist it wasn't sold for baby formula he went easy on them
When.u r.playing for any high stakes with that start of a hand 99.9 % of the.time u lose.
I'm just a man wearing a toupee.
I want my daughters bracelet back
Is this the second part?
Better not call Saul.
Tiene muy buenas partes esta película si tienen la opción de verla completa yo la empecé a ver y digo esto debe ser un bodrio y empezó a crecer a crecer a crecer y terminé completamente abstraído hipnotizado por esta película otra que la de John wick
Bender…So I said (lil girl voice) , I’ll see you at the fight.
Those noodles would still be hard when he sat down to eat.
Also, not enough water went into either bowl.
They aren't poor. They're pretenders!
The man knows what he wants and he wants the kitty cat bracelet. I don't know what's going on but I'll have to watch this whole movie cause I'm really confused.
Fantastic action movie
Have you watched it yet? Such a good flick. Odenkirk is criminally underrated.
@@null6634 no. I think it's on Muvee or something like that with commercials. I usually don't watch stuff with commercials, but maybe I can make an exception.
did i count 10 locks lol if you see a guy with 2 poker cards 7-2 you already dead but you don't know yet lol
mmmm que bien come Luisito!
This movie John wick has nothing on this guy and even The equalizer would have a problem on his hands
And they finally approved the sequel🎉
GREATEST SCENE EVER!
were you born like... in 2022 or something? Or do you only watch 1 movie per decade?
Cause I can name like 50,000 movies with better scenes than this.
@@Nazgull2k1 Oh no! Someone on the internet has a different opinion than me! Lets be as obnoxious as possible to get them to change their mind and agree with only me.
On the one hand, I really enjoyed the movie. On the other hand, continuity errors like the way he's holding the money (0:34, then 0:37, then back 0:39) really, _really_ bug me.
Are you a scripty? Or did you date one?
@@robertaylor9218 Just a guy with eyes. Ironically, if it was a worse movie, I probably wouldn't have been paying enough attention to notice.
@@aeonise if you have a good eye for continuity you might consider looking into side work as a script supervisor.
what did that tatoo mean that the old man got terrified from
Supposedly a dead man's hand or whatever, unlucky
7 Duece off suit is the worst possible hand you can have in poker
supposed to be the worst hand In poker you can have, a motif to a unit in Iraq that you do not want to be anywhere near
it's the worst hand you can get in poker, meant to be used by some special forces units as they're 'unlucky' enough to get sent to do the hardest missions
It means he was an operator who volunteered for a suicide mission, and survived.
*are
I dont get that tattoo thing
See? This right here is why you call Saul.
What kind of tattoo does he have that made them hesitate?
It's 7 2 off suit, which is the worst 2 cards to be dealt in Texas Hold-em. I'm not 100% about this, but I think it represents " No matter what, I'm going to win."
@@michaelplowman8674 Thanks and very interesting. Maybe it also says "I have nothing to lose."🤔
The vet was the one who recognized it because it's for soldiers who were essentially dealt an unwinnable hand by being sent on an impossible mission. Those missions are typically for people who are special forces level, so the tattoo means he survived a suicide mission.
@@Inscipio Tnx,very interesting.
How did the tattooist help him find the couple? Do people give their name and address when getting a tattoo in America?
Earlier in the film, his house gets robbed and he sees the tattoo on one of the forearms of one of the thieves. He hunts down the owner of the tattoo based off of his recollection.
Yes, we do. There's usually a lot of information given when getting tattoos. I just recently got one and they even photocopied my driver's license for "proof" that I was old enough to get one.
@@ericdravenashecorven Thanks for clarifying. They checked my ID when I got mine but never took down any details.
@@MrJuninho11 No problem! Could be a state thing I'm not sure
Is it the 7 of spades and 2 of diamonds on his wrist and does it mean anything in reality.
Dead man’s hand. Used by some tough customers in special forces as a badge. Like surviving a suicidal mission if I understand correctly.
Bad kevin costner
Possibly the most subversive casting since Bruce Willis in Die Hard.
It was good until he started punching a brick wall. Come on....
Effing awesome movie. *This* is how it's done. Are you paying attention, Hollywoke??
Oh my God, not another fake tough guy bullshit from this ex comedian joke
This is why you're still a virgin
There’s two types of medium of exchange. Credit, which is money that does not yet exist. And there is Bitcoin, money.
How can people think this was a good film? Definitely picked the wrong actor for the role
Only problem I have with this scene is that the family is eating ramen. No self respecting Latinos would eat that crap, especially considering you could eat 4x as much rice and beans for the cost of those noodles. I blame Biden.
This film fucking sucked, so stupid & absolutely ridiculous. Bob Odenkirk was horribly miscast.
😂 you’re the only one who hated it then, good for you!
@@oakleyorbit I highly doubt that.
It's okay that you are stupid and have terrible taste. Lots of people are like that.
re was no-one better that the casting director could've Called
The whole point was that you'd never suspect who/what he was from looking at him. If you think he's "horribly miscast" to be an action hero ... that means he's perfect.
Saul Goodman holy shit
