i like them except the recruit not because of James Beck but the radio version as well just a lack lustre episode with no real plot and on the dvd of series 6 the last 2 eps are on the other disc so no wonder why i don't watch it
00:20 Sergeant Wilson ( John Le Mesurier ) is leading the Platoon because Arthur Lowe (Captain Mainwaring ) had a clause in his contract where he would never be seen without wearing his trousers
did you know why captain mainwaring didn't appear in the uniform scene. it's because he had it written into his contract that no matter what he appeared in he would never be seen without his trousers on
wat about Battle School? where he appears in longjohns and a shirt also if this was in contract why write the deadly attachment with mainwaring and the hand grenade. if they already was a no-no why write it?
@@alexlazebat839 do you know I never realised that, I was watching an interview with Auther Lowe he said it himself, obviously he forgot all about that,
You better be damned if you ever critisize dad's army! Its the best millitary comedy ever made!

Dad's Army is one of the best British comedies ever. It's very iconic and always hilarious. Reply your favourite episodes/characters
Ginger Lego Builder Private Walker would have to be my favourite character.
The honourable sergeant Arthur Wilson gets my vote as the best character. Bless them all
"All Is Safely Gathered In"
I love them all.
