Hi! Thanks for the video! I`ve bought LG washer-dryer (10/7.5 kg) only two months ago, and it was drying really well. A week ago the dryer went off - I fill a half tub, as I did before, and the clothes get really hot and damp - as if the steam ain`t condensing at all!.. Went through LG`s troubleshooting - the water tap is fully open, cleaned the drump filter (again, only using it less then 2 months) - and the result is the same... I called the company that provides service, the technician came and only scratched his head...
@@Kalminervin I have fixed my issue 2 days ago. The drain pump wasn't working properly enough to push all the water out through the tube. I had to empty the water manually many times. I've bought a new drain pump on Amazon, changed it and now, it's working like a new machine.
Anyone else having issues with excessive lint when drying towels, bedsheets etc? I’ve cleaned the filter at the bottom but it’s made no difference. It’s basically unusable as a dryer now as the next normal wash comes out covered in lint.
This is the worst machine I have ever had, it came with the apartment… After the wash cycle I remove the spinned clothes and hang them up on hangers , smoothes them out and let them dry over night in the closet.. if you want use a handheld steamer
Received my new LG 9 / 5 Kg washer dryer combo in beginning of October 2021 and drying anything in it is a disaster. I've come to the conclusion there is a fault in the software programs for this machine. I've had success ONCE with drying clothes. 4 items in the machine by just pushing dry only and taking the clothes out at the 40 minute mark. I made the mistake of washing some towels (4) and then drying them and letting it go through the cool down period before taking them out. The result was major cross staining, some parts of the towels were crispy and wrinkled, other parts damp. One item was still completely wet. I've complained to LG and had a technician visit but no change to the result. We're trying to get LG to take it back at the moment.
@@rosipalomera3285 Sorry to hear you're having a problem. Mine ended up going back to LG and replaced with a new washer. Still not impressed with the dryer but the washer works alright.
Hii, just bought a similar machine to yours but mine is 12kg/8KG, i went to try out the machine last night and did the wash + dry (8KG) function on the machine, the time it displayed was 4:30 hours, and after that my clothes was drenched of water. Might sound like a silly question but, does the function mean that it will wash first then dry after automatically? I feel like I’m doing something wrong 😂😂
I've run into an issue with mine, where it doesn't start the drying mode after a cycle. The dryer function, however, when used independently, works fine. Is there possibly a sensor that may need checked or replaced?
Sorry to hear about those issues. What happens if you leave it? Does it just time out or run through the cycle without actually drying? I don't know about the sensor side sorry, as I am not that technically knowledgeable about the machine, but hope you're able to get a bit further with fixing it!
Ours is not drying (same model). Wife has always overloaded it but used to dry ok. Do you know if the condenser is located under the top lid. The lower filter was rammed with lint so guessing the condenser is also. Thanks.
Good question. I rarely have a batch of laundry that is all safe for the tumble dryer so I generally separate the clothes for drying after the wash and let it weigh those for drying. In short, I only use the 30 minute drying cycle occasionally and even then it wouldn't dry more than a few items in that time.
@@homehelper9273 Hi, I've also got the same model. So you're saying that it's better to reduce the load after washing and let the machine dry a portion of those clothes, insted of drying all of the load for at least 60 min?
When I run "Wash + Dry", when its finish, clothes are very hot, but still very wet. I just bought it used less than 3 times. what can be reason? is there something I need to check?
And you've tried the weight and reducing the amount of clothes, as suggested here? Otherwise, try removing any specific dense items. Hopefully that will help
Just purchased a similar LG washer dryer. I’m getting a strange smell when drying, is this normal? I’ve run a few cycles and a tub clean but smell only seems to happening during the dry cycle. Did you experience anything similar?
Drain the water from the drain pump. Bottom left panel. Remove panel and uncap hose and pour water out until it's completely empty. Also unscrew the trap and remove any hair or lint from that also. Run the tub clean cycle with bleach only and no clothes or anything inside machine.
@deserresmarc-olivier6443 Did you figure this out? I’m considering moving into an apartment and they don’t have me standalone washers and dryers and have this 2-in-1 instead. I was wondering if it really does thoroughly and wrinkle free like a standard dryer?

Hey there - Sorry to hear about your issues, really don't know what to else to add - did you get it sorted on the warranty? Hope all fixed!
having the exact same issue at the moment... did you find anything?
Did you check the condenser filter for lint?
The problem, sort of, dissolved... I've cleaned the lint around the rubber at the door, somehow it dries well now🤷..

Great video series. Can u advise how to avoid wrinkles? I just bought this model and most of the cloths are badly wrinkled. Thanks!
The clothes come out ridiculously creased. It’s driving me mad!
Yes madly wrinkled and shrinking them madly
It helps to put it on the damp cycle for drying. The clothes usually dry before you get them on the hanger and they aren't nearly as wrinkled.

Thanks for the tutorial. What is the reason for very loud noise & vibration? We just installed the machine & it's making loud noise & vibration.

Did you try any of the steps in the video here? Could indeed be a faulty machine, as you mention. Hope you get it sorted👍🏻
How did it work out with LG? We’re having the same issues and my wife’s fed up with this machine
Same Issue with me

How does the heat escape? If it isn’t vented out or ventless . Doesn’t the heat stay in and make it stay moist in the machine?
The other reason is the vent is clogged.

whats the point of weighing dry dirty clothes with scales, when they are going to weigh more when they are wet ( 5kg dry- 6.5 when wet ??)
I always understood the weight to be for dry clothes - can you send a link for instructions to confirm if it's wet? Cheers.
Do you prefer drying your clothes over 30mins timer?

These combo units are garbage
I totally agree
Is there anything I can do to make the clothes smell good
Lg say that the machine itself will have a funny smell for the first few washes, but we always put in the laundry fragrancer pearls which do help 👍👍
I keep getting “DHE” what’s this??
possible a Door Hinge Error? DE is door error on my machine but I've not seen DHE, sorry. hope you got it sorted
We’ve just got a truesteam model of these, it keeps saying IE, but it’s got plenty of water access, any ideas what I could do?
3rd LG owned. I keep hoping the newer model would correct the issues of the previous ones. Nope, they just added a steam option. Complete garbage.
that time i overdosed my detergent on my washer and the whole foam is getting inside the drying vent but luckily its not broken yet
Oh no. Did you manage to clean it out ok?
@@homehelper9273 everything is fine now and also its washer dryer sorry for typing mistake

Mine also had a „hot rubber smell“ in the beginning, but it faded away over time

Why machine is beeping all the time
I wish they left the vented drying on with these machines.
Oh my God did I just put 2000$ in the Garbage? Thaïs machine doesn't work

@@homehelper9273 yes I finally "understood" what to Do and what not. Essentially I was fulling IT too much
