its ok, but naming both 2.4 and 5 Hz should have different sids like asus_24 and asus _5, really makes it easier to do testing on both bands, not every device will or can not use 5 Hz at all, so give them different names to avoid the conflicts in tracking down router issues. one reason being the 5 Hz needs to be tweaked to get the best speeds
lets say you attach the usb drive and try to access the usb device from devices behind the wlan port. Is it possible? With Aidisk it works for me, but I am more interested in a Samba or ftp way. Aidisk is just some http web.
i need your help =/ i cant connect my W7 computer and android tablet to my ASUS RT-AC66U router =( but my mac and android cellphone can connect to it i already tried everything is driving me crazy can u help me please??
Change the IP address of your modem to something like 192.168.10.1, connect ethernet cable from modem LAN port to WAN port on the router (the one with blue corners) and go to LAN -> Routing -> and type 192.168.1.0 to network field, 255.255.255.0 on subnet field and 192.168.10.1 on gateway leave metric field blank and choose WAN on the interface field or just connect your PC to the router and set router to Access point mode and connect ethernet cable from modem LAN port to WAN port on the router.
very poorly done, and what is that pounding background noise? you need to rehearse first not just wing it and try to do too much. You don't even seem to know what Access Point mode is (when you want to keep the existing build in router) and using the new router with DHCP turned off. You tried to sound network savvy but you are not.
I would never use Access point mode on my router without having it to be connected to a router with firewall and NAT and also filtered out which MAC address can access routers management site. Access Point mode gives fast speed boost sure, the reason is because it disables dhcp, NAT, firewall and all security features (in otherwords makes your router completly open to networks it is connected to)
I am having trouble getting to the first step and your video skipped that step. Useless video for me. Next time remember to show how which port to plug the cable in on the back of the router (there are several to choose from) and show how to get into the damn program. Don't assume everyone can get to the step after that without help on these first steps.
Where do I set my shower water temperature? I pourer a lot of curry into the WAN connector but no password appeared. FFS... ridiculously boring and useless clip,
