This 3rd Round vs. Aussie Anne Minter, fresh after Seles' maiden triumph at Roland Garros. The world watched in awe as this tennis prodigy transitioned from European Clay to English Grass...
...and not a single word about the 16 year old's grunt, which imprudently became a national crisis only 2 years later.
