Hello munchy bro.. i just flashed custom kernel on my poco f1 running with stock miui 10.. everything is running good.. but i got a issue with the camera it says can't connect to the camera..any fix or solution?
is it normal when i backup my original kernal and flash the custom kernal... the battery like drains from 80% to 50%?

Doe the steps remain even if you're running A13? I did it in Lineage OS 20 and it didn't work when i restored it didn't fix the problem

@@munchy_cool Thank you, Actually, before installing custom rom i backed up boot partion to recover if i run into error which id did after installing. So obviously i tried to restore the backed up boot partition and after restoring backup it should've fixed the error but it didn't fix the error. I was stuck on the poco logo

you should have a backup of your stock kernel. if not , then you will have to download full firmware for your miui version, unzip it and flash boot.img using flash image option in twrp

I know someone here in Philippines who also maker of tutorial but he's way of changing kernel is way too many steps.. like you need to wipe dalvik and cache and flash firmware and flash rom you currently using then flash new kernel and then flash disable force encryption and reboot .. can you explain why he said that?

Can I have twrp on my poco f1 without flashing magisk?? I rooted but then chose to revert back to stock ROM because I didn't like exposing my banking apps. I had passed safetynet and everything but was not sold. Anyways I want to install twrp and seshstation kernel only just to improve my gaming performance. Is this viable? Like only flashing twrp only to flash the seshstation kernel? Without using magisk and rooting? I would like to thank you for you videos. You are one of the best.
not if your on MIUI, but you can always boot into twrp, allow system modifications and flash custom kernel ..
make sure to NOT lock your bootloader while on a custom kernel

You are already using magisk sir..... I can say this because after flashing miui the twrp recovery is wiped automatically and you have directly boot into twrp... Thats why asked the question..
