Thank you for the information video... There so little regarding these Coachmen class C and class A RVs are disliked because of their slightly below average quality.. The coach b and + seem to be made much better... I have personally traveled in these and the build quality was excellent....
Neat. Right now I am checking out a 1998 of the same layout as this one. Is there anything I should know about Coachmen's specifically that I should be on the look out for?
Dave! Those window visors... does the smoker triangle windows have any problem opening? I have 84 g30 Chevy, same style, looking for window visors, happen know where get those?
I just bought a 1995 Coachmen Van Camper Series M-19 RD-Ford chassis, with 38k miles on it, does anyone know what engine is in this or where I can find out more info? Any help would be appreciated, TIA
I am planning to buy the same one but the propane gas tank needs to be replaced because it is rusted out. Any suggestions where or how to do that and how much it would cost?
I believe a new propane tank of the same model is about $350. But even if the tank is "rusted", usually it is only surface rust. The tanks are actually pretty thick. If it is functional and working you can just wire brush and scrape the tank. Then prime it with rust converter and then paint it. I did that once to a different RV. I didn't even remove the tank to do it: just crawled under the RV. If the on/off valve is leaking, a good RV shop/RV mechanic can replace the valve.
The video wasn't made as a "for sale video". It was made as an "informational video" about the 1996 Coachmen Camper Vans. I sold this van in 2018 - price was $8900. There were not many good videos about the older 1990's Coachmen camper vans on RUclips at the time. Since the Pandemic hit last year the price of camper vans has just about doubled.
Actually Class B camper vans hold their value better that bigger RV's. They are rarer than the Class A's and Class C's. Back in the day and currently, new Class B's can cost the same as some A's and C's. So for that reason most people who bought new RV's went for the bigger RV's to get more room for the same money. That's why B's are rarer and harder to find. And ones in good shape are always in demand. Very easy to sell with several people wanting to buy. And the older B's are more affordable. New Class B's are well over $100k - I'd never pay that. I have always bought used RV's.
Man I want one to live in.That is a sweet Rv.thanks for uploading this.
You're welcome

Desperately seeking a manual for this model's "house systems." No luck at all so far. Ideas?
Looking for the same thing
Very nice rig sir

On my van (1996) the vent windows are fixed and do not open. I think I got them on ebay.
Can you review a 2000 model?

Well it looks good for age but I don't think anyone's going to fight you on buying it.
