Next up a tyre dressing from BH 😂😂 then I would just use them as a one stop shop for my car washing needs !!
💯
I've just started using their stuff and it's bloody good.
i just use baby oil, thank me later :)
I contacted Bilt Hamber last year and asked the very same question, they were positive in their reply.
When you invest in a BH product, you can be confident it’s been developed intensively in a UK laboratory by scientists. I will definitely be ordering this product.
Thanks for the review Jon and moreover explaining the science behind the product. 👏👏
Personally Bilt Hamber is my favourite car cleaning brand every product that they manufacture is first class, have tried the Traceless Glass cleaner and is great I have no doubt that this glass polish that they have introduced will be just as good a product, it’s great to see Bilt Hamber extend their range of products hopefully they will possibly add a tar remover, tyre cleaner/dressing and move into ceramic coatings, that would be great to see.
Next up will be a glass coating 👀 well done Bilt 💙
This is much needed. I've previously commented on this, that this is the one remaining unexplored area where i always feel dissatisfied with the completion of my detailing, knowing the glass still has bonded crud on it and would only be removed using certain polishes which take forever to apply and rub. Looking forward to this new BH Product, thanks for the usual expert review.
I want to see a trim treatment from Bilt-Hamber. One of the biggest problems I find with detailing cars is faded, greying black plastic trim.
So far Gtechniq C4 is the only product I would bother with, and I've tried a half dozen. Be very interesting to see what Bilt Hamber's chemists would do with this.
Have you tried Solution Finish?
I use autoglym bumper and trim gel and it worked wonders on my ford's greying plastic trim.
@@Ukfraser ooh no, used it 30 years, ago but things have moved on. Use either G Techniq C4 permanent trim restorer, or Polyol Polytrol, neither streak under rain or water and GTechniq is is what I use to restore faded classic Porsche scuttle panels, the Polytrol I woukd use on ford vauxhall bumpers and trims, and it gives 1 year per application
@ Yeah although I reckon it's more of a dye. It recolours well but doesn't last for more than a week or two in the elements.
Please make a Rinseless called Rinse-less
Fits with their naming strategy.
This is great timing. My Son has an issue with his windscreen on his ST150. He detailed it last weekend with a little guidance when needed from me, and mentioned his windscreen problem. So I first got the trace less out (post detail) and the problem remained. I then used Auto Glym glass polish (which I've used for decades) and managed to take out a considerable amount of contamination we couldn't see (evident on the applicator). I spoke to him the other day and he's told me the smear/smudge problem is still there. Thanks for the video Jon. I'll give this a go. 👍🏻
Try it by machine with a heavier pad. Ensure the wipers are clean and degreased too, or new.
@martin1649 Will do mate. Brand new Bosch wiper blades fitted same day. 👍🏻
Try cleaning the inside 😉
@@LSD04 not quite sure why you would suggest that when the problem is on the external glass of the windscreen when using the wipers..🤔
Try some iron fallout remover, and tar remover. Separately. There will be many types of things built up, all req their own treatment
I've been using a competitors glass polish along with their rain repellent and glass cleaner, and it has been a game changer when driving in the dark and in rain.
ooohhhh this sounds interesting because a) BH are brilliant b) clean glass is a must especially at night
Excellent video mate, Another must have from Bilt Hamber. In my view the video steers you away from glass sealants… so I would like to see a tyre sealant/gel/conditioner.
Car chassis cleaner and or car chassis protection products which can be used via a snow foam lance (or via the Karcher chassis cleaner in my case 🙂) to be used underneath the car.
That would be surfex for cleaning and Atomac for protection🙄
Great to see they have released something new and innovative like they always do 👑 Jon, you need to tell them to release merchandise - T-shirts, Hoodies… 👍🏻
To be honest, I would like Bilt Hamber to create some kind of tyre protectant, not necessarily a dressing, from their labs.
Also a tar remover
BH Cleanser fluid can be used as a tar remover and a panel prep.
@@xu5144 Another great product. Our local SMART repairer uses BH Cleanser Fluid for spirit-wiping/removing dust from repaired panels during prepping areas to be re-painted, with excellent, silicone-free, results.
Just used it, used a cheap sponge puck to apply, more product was entering that than going to screen, going to have too purchase some if those suede microfibers now, found it a bit grabby taking it off, wrong microfiber should have used a waffle would have been easier,, certainly cleaned screen looks crystal clear, removed some water marks, easily, impressive
Glaco Glass Compound Roll approx £11 for 100ml vs Bilt Hamber Re-View approx £17 500ml
Know where my money is going next, huge BH fan but would love to see a comparison between the two. Although this isn’t something used daily it’s definitely something us valeting and detailing community stock for certain services. Soft 99 get some well huge credit for there tub design roll thingy mididgy, easy enough for anyone to grab and go. No tools needed.
their applicator is the bomb
This is exactly the product I've been searching for ever since my first car over a decade ago.
Soft 99 have had a glass compound out that does the same job for years
Glaco glass compound is not something I use particularly regularly, in fact only prior to applying the Glaco sealant, but I’d be interested to see if this measurably outperforms it. Thanks for the video!
Me too I use glaco twice a year. I’ve ran out now. Do I buy this instead ?
@@tomhighton120 Bilt Hamber is probably my favourite detailing brand overall, mainly because they all seem to do what they say they’ll do very well, and at a reasonable price. I also have a lot of time for Soft99, although I don’t have as many of their products. I’d be inclined to try Re-View, if anything to see if there’s any noticeable difference. Having previous knowledge of BH products, I’m fairly confident that they’ve probably put them up against each other, and that Re-View probably will outperform.
I've got the glaco compound but still to use it, wondering if I should hang off and try this instead, before applying glaco sealant
Yes, this is the direct comparison I'd be interested in.
Glaco worked for me when i was trying to remove a ceramic glass coating/sealant off my front window.
Cleaning product as strong as caustic tfr but not damaging for quick winter cleaning because autofoam isn't powerful enough.
touchless?
I've only ever used, Bilt Hamber touchless and wheel cleaner. Definitely the best products I've ever used. Going to give this a go 👍
My wife’s car has a weird ghosting that only appears in the rain. It is not a major problem, but it is annoying. I have cleaned thoroughly with detergents and glass cleaners, including trace-less. I have clayed the glass, cleaned it with a magic eraser and used Autoglym glass polish, but although the glass is sparklingly clean when dry, the ghosting returns in the wet. This product looks perfect for removing that final contamination where other methods have failed. I’ll get some when the local store gets it into stock, wish me luck.
Looking forward to trying this out. Glaco been my go-to windscreen compound but this will no doubt be much better value
Appreciate the cuts and B roll.
Much prefer this format.
Would be interesting to see its performance vs Glaco glass compound. Glaco has the advantage of the built in applicator
Appreciate the review on this John.
I bet it’ll be good on the shower door that 🤣
Great great now Glaco is residing in the bathroom now
Gotta love traceless, it’s an absolute powerhouse and removes basically anything, even sticky residue like you say. Will give this a go when I use the last of my autoglym glass polish 👍
And smells of pear drops, what’s not to like?
Hoping we see this in the states soon. Great video John
Put it up against Glaco, cos that is all I use as price per performance is up there! Infact I use ONR to clean the glass if its not caked on with junk as its epic!
Order placed!! Aside from dodo juice Bornto be mild almost everything is now Bilt hamber!! Only purchased trace less last week so will see how this goes!! Have a bottle of angel wax glass sealer to try out on top!! I’d like to see a tyre dressing next please Bilt hamber :)
I could pick out Autoglym glass polish there. Its still the best on the inside of your front window IMO
About 20 years ago, i was using a bottle of glass polish from maybe the early 90s - it was bringing clarity to motorcycle mirrors that i didn't think possible.
I have been unable to find a glass polish that worked anywhere near as well, since.
I'm excited to try this, as there is nothing like brand new glass, and this is only way to get that effect, i just wish we were not reliant on Obsessed Garage deciding to stock it for those living in the USA 😢
When would you use re-view and when would you use traceless? Is traceless weekly and re-view monthly? Or would you just use re-view and not bother with traceless? I have been using auto-glym glass polish and not desperately impressed with it.
Any chance of a product review or even better, a group test on underbody and cavity anti rust protection Jon. There's a lot of options out there and BH have a few too. Important to look after our gorgeous machines once we have them looking good on the surface! 💚
Oh Jesus I'm clueless but I'm helping friend rickthespud with a cool resto with rust issues.
@@ForensicDetailing Furiousdriving Matt i think has covered a lot of his cars with bilt hamber products, top notch quality as always, got some too and put on my cars.
This is a great product I use in the States if you have some surface rust already or not.
This guy lives 30 min. south of me where salt and salt brine sprays are used extensively on our roads. Have had good results so far and it's widely available everywhere now in 2025 versus when his video was made in 2021, but I'm not sure where it's available internationally.
ruclips.net/video/NE1_EiZIVHs/видео.htmlsi=-GKewCpHsZyvl7o1
@@martin1649 excellent, what did you use for where?
@@AndrewGibson22 Dynax UB on floor boards and subframe/rear axle, UC wherever you can see the painted underside, S-50 on sills, cavities and behind arch liners.
"yes dear, but it's for the shower glass" 😉
Reporting back: decent on shower glass but not on safety lamination. (In case my wife reads this)
Cool product! Maybe some form of glass coating is next? I would to see a tyre dressing too… Maybe a microfiber detergent as well… Not really their league but they can probably craft anything in their laboratories
Looks the business Jon. Sorry but I would like to see BIlt Hamber tackle Ceramics. They have already done stuff in the protection space with Double speed wax so I think they should apply themselves to a coating. Also a decon soap like the Labo PH stuff or Carpro descale. This glass polish seems to be in the same space.
Try labocosmetica glass cleaner against the BH traceles.....
But yes, we need a tar remover from BH.... and tire dressing
I was thinking of a Descale
I'd like to see them do a rubber treatment product, like GummiPflege.
Would like to see BH do a leather cleaner/conditioner
Good shout !
Yeah, good shout..have always used Zymol for both.. Great stuff.
Definitely one for my garage! I would love to see a screen wash that works and doesn’t cost a fortune!
Screen wash would be good shout
Looks like another worthy addition to my BH collection 👍
John do some kind of review on car washing brushes or mops or something with a pole on it please, and where’s my dewalt polisher , u can’t keep them all and maybe review the Milwaukee polishers
Weekend warrior here, just orderd along with the glass cleaner.
If it is as good as the Surfex hd, Touchless and Korrosol then I will be happy.
Thanks Jon. Ordered and 84p discount applied with your 'forensic' code! 👍
I’d like to see a glass sealant from them next, seems like it would make sense with traceless and this new product!
It’s BH, you know it will be decent, personally I’d love them to do a proper AIO, with decent protection
I think they have aio. Microfine.
Definitely need a comparison test between Re-View, Glaco Compound and a few others.
So is the idea you use Re-View, then leave the glass uncoated, for a good Wet view? Or is this a deep clean before applying new protection?
I think personal preference but I would prep with it and seal
Tyre dressing that has a ridiculously long life. Haven't used it but I hear Tuf Shine is the one to beat.
Crickey that 2min vide by Bilt Hamber was a good watch !
Very disappointing to see SLIMS DETAILING RAISE THE PRICE FROM £16.25 to NOW OVER £18.25 because the the popularity of this product !
John recommends something and we all crave it !
Great work John ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks for the review of Re-View. I was only thinking the other day when the sun was low in the sky and my windscreen is full of pinpoint spots that are never removed, even with the excellent Trace-Less that I should finally get round to using the Carpro CeriGlass that I've had for about a year (complete with rayon pad) but now this. Should I splash out on Re-View instead of the CeriGlass?
Great review of re-view, John. Would you need to use a glass sealant after cleaning the glass with re-view, with something like Infinity Wax Diamond vision or Clarity?
I would mate yes
Thanks for the re-view, sorry!
I've got some on the way, to add to my Bilt Hamber collection.
Can I use on my BMWs headlights?
Also would love them to produce a rubber seal conditioner and protector.
glass surface only mate
Fantastic video Jon this looks. Like another great product from Bilt Hamber, would this be a great product before applying a ceramic coating to the Glass?
Some plastic or rubber treatment and a glass sealant from BH would be awesome.
Not what I was expecting! Looks good though. What would you like to see them release, Jon?
I think I'd quite like them to release a ceramic coating, I'd totally put that on my car if they can make it user friendly. They could look at anything really and knock it out the park.
Could you ever see them updating existing products like autowash to say make it more sudsy? I keep reading its like washing the car with water, albeit does clean well.
Interior cleaner, something that leaves very little behind that can be wiped away. Surfex is a bit too clingy even at low %.
Rinseless wash would be good too, something to give Koch and ONR a run for their money.
Thanks for this video Jon. The subject of glass polish doesn't seem to get much of a mention here. I've just ordered this from Imran. I'm hoping it will solve an issue I've been having with my Polo's wipers skipping and juddering as they sweep the front screen. If not, then the linkage or motor could be at fault. I've just recently replaced the blades with OE VW ones and it made no difference.
I really respect BH, their products are really good, pricing is on point too (we'll maybe except Trace less, it's a little bit overpriced in my opinion but still an amazing glass cleaner!) I'm a Surfex guy for life I think, only apc that stands up to it is Strovels Alfanol OC in my testing. Also I would kill everybody on this earth for a BH Rinse less and as someone mentioned here a decon soap like descale and an interior cleaner. Great vid John, cheers!
Out 24 glass cleaners compared. Traceless is 5th cheapest at 12.95 per litre. Mr muscle, Halford Glass cleaner, Nilglass, and Stoners beat it on price. Its cheap in the UK. But appreciate other locations different for sure.
Yeah I know it's super good value in the UK, have family there, maybe they will buy me some BH stuff there 😅 I'm from Poland, its around the same here, now that I did a calculation by liter of product is not so bad, but our salaries are not the same as yours in the UK... Yet. It's cool that they give you cloths also. Surfex 4 life 🫃
so did you then re apply a new glass coating after this or just leave it?
Trace less is like a nuclear missile when I used it. The fumes when used inside my car nearly made me pass out it's super strong.only other glass cleaner come close is the Wurth one.
I love the bubble gum smell, reminds me of my air fresheners ahhh
Couldn’t order it quick enough 👍👍
Looks like another quality BH product 👌
I like the idea of this product, I've had windscreens in the past that I could not get clean clean so I definitely want to get this in my armoury to keep my current car new windscreen perfect. Do BH do anything for mud?
I really hope it doesn’t smell as bad as traceless. I had to throw out my bottle as the missus got a headache even if i rinsed the cloth i used and it was in another room.
Thanks for your review and interesting to see. Once you have used this product what would be your next steps to protect / dress your windscreen ?
yes mate I would apply a glass sealant personally
Once in a few months I use Glaco compound on my front windscreen to polish everything off the glass, I never use these waterrepellent products like Rain X or even the Glaco Ultra on my front windscreen.
Wonder if this would be good for cleaning oven door glass, could keep the missus happy then 😂
Good idea. 👍 😂
Nice! Is this safe for headlights?
I'll find out mate. It's going to be abrasive so can depend on goals. I'm sure hand buff will tidy things up. But if u are machining it you have to consider you are removing material from headlight clear
Thanks 👍
so its for glass surfaces only mate. So dont use on headlights Im inferring. unless glass
Just ordered a bottle i do already have glaco but cant wait to try this. I would like to see a tar remover from Bh really strong but safe on things like arch liners etc
Cleanser Fluid is a tar remover. Its mild though. Very safe. Its more a panel wipe for me that you can use to remove tar.
@ForensicDetailing agreed. I'd like to see a traceless of the tar remover world.
Whats the purpose? Is it designed to prep glass for application od desired product or just deep clean glass and drive the car with a clean windscreen
Watch video mate
@ForensicDetailing I can't. Your voice makes my mouth water
whatever floats your boat mate
Very interesting, John. Be very interested in your thoughts after a road test in the pouring rain (obviously) as I've been using the Gyeon Q2 View and not sure whether or not I should go down the bilt-hamber route or stick with what I've got.
I have an older Honda that I like , but windscreen needs renewing , very intersting !
Be awesome if if it paired with an easily applied spray on wipe off glass sealant that’d protect the glass from getting buggered up again.
I agree they now need a glass sealant. But hopefully one will come
Since they have done a glass cleaner and a polish, now a glass coating is surely next to release?
I have the CarPro one but I think it's probably more cut and certainly needs water to remove. The BH one looks like it might have the edge for a quick hand polish and buff off. Your link is to Bead Coat btw ...
Mine was delivered today so I just tried it on my van which had some annoying schmoo left *I think* from BH touch on. This stuff does what it says on the tin! After 15 mins of me hastily and haphazardly "polishing" with a regular old MF, I was surprised to see when I pressure rinsed the dregs off, the water just ran down in a smooth film.
Quick wiperblades and test with screenwash and another pressure rinse and its like having a new windscreen again (the van is only 1yr old).
Tempted to get a cheap cordless polisher and just clean all our windscreens this way
Good vid thanks Jon. I assume this would also be a good base for a ceramic glass coating as it would super clean the surface to prep it.
Yes this should be bare prep mate
@@ForensicDetailing Wouldn't that make the glass hydrophobic again?
I'm a bit confused as to the idea with this, would I use this to remove a water repellent and then put a new water repellent on, if so what one and how often do you do this process. Thanks
@@chris.440 taking the glass back to bare glass then applying hydrophobic coating would ensure maximum adhesion and duration of the coating. 👍
@@BriFree100 what coating would you say, I'm new to ceramics etc as I just bought my first quality car, I've always kept my car clean but now have a mercedes convertible in black so am looking for a complete system that isn't too complicated to clean then protect would you recommend this BH range or anything else.
Need a tyre dressing and glass sealant from BH to solidify the results you get from re-view.
Looks fantastic. Does it work better than Rain-X for hi-viz? The BH video strongly suggested it did.
Would you still chemical decon and clay before using this?
chemical decon no I wouldnt. But you can clay if theres bits of like tar spots on the glass or something.
Looking forward in having this in my inventory. Not sure why you would say "not much use" for such a product, clean glass...free from contaminates is vital.
maybe yer. but if you say went into halfords and looked at all the top sellers. Its like ceramic sprays. wheel dressings, air freshners, shampoo, prewash etc.. Glass polish is more niche. But I dont disagree mate. its still important. vital like you say yes.
This is a glass polish to prepare the surface for ceramic coating?
or glass sealant.
Looks good I'll give it a try.
I'd love to see a side by side comparison of this product, just using a clay bar, just using a bit of normal polish on a machine. The product clearly works but, is it necessary?
oh its necessy yes. well if your in to detailing its necesary. the problem may be they could all work. So if you tested on glass panel with sealant film and test all the glass polish. will they all remove old film coating. I bet they do. So does it once again come down to Value then ease of use or ease of use then value? Dunno.
So you use this prior to using a product like AngelwaxH2GO? This a replacement for the cleaning compound rather than the finish?
yes m8
Oppss just purchased trackless 5L in January… review seem very good
They are different products, I also have TraceLess and will be ordering this too.
trackless is a new one.. sounds like my car after I blew up the engine at thruxton :)
@@ForensicDetailing 😂😂😂😂
Would Like to see a ceramic coating for you fabric seats and floormats and maybe the whole interior with antistatic for dust and dirt spray or coating 😁
Similar to AutoGlym no?
Well John everytime when i buying a product from bilt-hamber and sometimes after review you exspect that product better works then it is while you using their product they like overdeliver a lot its rusted brand that you can buying without seening a review on yt or some else where Bilt-hamber for the win !!!
I'd like to see a dedicated tyre/rubber cleaner, surfex just doesn't hold up vs these dedicated tyre cleaners now sadly. Alternatively, a new revision of surfex that simple makes tyre cleaners obsolete, bonus points for tar spot removal but I imagine that could degrade rubber.
Another one here for a decent tyre dressing that doesn't wash off within 2-3 days when it's been raining! ;-)
Once applied how long does it last before needing to reapply?
It's polish mate not sealant
@ForensicDetailing ah ok I see, thanks for the reply 💪🏻
A ceramic spray from BH would be great...
*now that I have your attention, you can hunt me down, find me, and detail my car! I am sure you'd travel, I won't be that far away.
this concept but to work with polycarbonate screens/visors would be nice
polycarb is very very soft compared to glass. I think a specific polycarb polish might be very niche. but maybe you could use this by hand?I will fnid out mate and do a FAQ sticky later on. there are specific poly carb polishes on the market though
Wonder if this is good for shower screens ?
I would propably still use Glaco prep with the applicator thingy. Let's get some glass sealant from BH to challenge Soft99!
I've been looking for a glass polish for a while now. Great timing. US availability?
