I love it when there is free releases, I play free to play, so when i see stuff like that I get a little excited.
i think Ho-oh being a defender helped it launch not as broken as the other Ex mons...
Nah, there were plenty of broken defender on release. Lapras and umbreon for example.
You were not around when Blastoise was released then. He's still considered one of the most broken releases ever

ho oh is not broken it dont have a hard CC to help in team fight. hes strong at early but late game is kinda balance. as for his unite it depends on your team it can revive all your team but only at 50% hp and you need to sacrifice alot of points. crustle is more scary then ho oh.
I am also enchanted! 😂 I will definitely be getting Ho oh when I can. Great to see that it's fairly balanced for an EX Pokémon

Cerulage finally feels great, the buffs actually makes it what it is made for, a speedster style squishy all-rounder, I am happy for Cerulage. It felt like money wasted to buy a week ago of coin release, but now it feels like returns on the money without being disgustingly broken.
And his bitter/phantom set is quite formidable aswell, it increases its survivability for quite a good amount, to the point that i can trade blows on a t-tar with 2 level higher than me for an extended period of time, although it kinda falls off when it comes to fighting speedster cuz i can barely hit them with my bitter blade cuz of the wind up🤣🤣, but thats where psycho/flame charge come in so its all good
@@jadeyumol4811 Yeah I love bitter blade actually, its a skilled move, high risk high reward. About the ttar, no you can't actually 1v1 ttar especially sand tomb one, nothing can 1v1 that, unless the ttar is bad, so just giving you a heads-up to avoid 1v1 ttar, unless he's low health, that thing is a monster.
@@Jayveersinh_Raj hes build is kinda weird cuz he go for sand tomb/dark pulse instead of stone edge, but aside from that i think he is kinda good, although realizing it now i probably last for quite a long time is because of phantom force and the fact that dark pulse is easy to dodge...and i have a full stack on attack weight, so that probably helps to with all the heals i got from bitter blade
I feel awkward about it being another Defender/Supporter hybrid like Umbreon but its certainly a unique addition.
The majority of times I've been revived by this Pokemon (in SoloQ) haven't been beneficial so hopefully that improves 😅
I also wonder, do foes gain even more experience from KO'ing you again right after you've been revived? Seems like it could be setting up a big disadvantage in many situations in that way if so.
Im glad they made Ho oh im the way they did. Not all defenders need crowd control and this pokemon *is* the developers acknowledging that. Super excited to play this pokemon.
I feel more comfortable with stopping CC; Trevenant's Hammer, Blastoise's Hydro Pump, Slowbro's Hypnosis or it's ult YES. There are really no heavy CC moveset from Ho-Oh, which I think would be need a little careful at frontline. But I will still have Ho-Oh for my roster. I want to learn more as a Defender main.

It feels bad to have to wait 2 weeks to get it for free, but I'm love that birb like it was my own. Birbs are cool, and that plush on the thumbnail is adorable!
you might not think its not "THAT" good cus it isnt snowballing like speedster. but its kit,durability and presence allows so much for the team to finish you. im getting lapras vibes
Yeah, hoping they consider turning it fully Support and lower the defenses + other tweaks but it'll probably always feel like a hybrid.
Yeah current Lapras, the worst defender in the game. Useless and has no presence outside of its Unite move. Very apt comparison.

Honestly I think Ho-Oh looks sick and super fun. I really wanna play it and am going to go through dice hell to get it lol. Surprised it doesn't have Sacred Fire as a move considering that is it's signature move (formerly) maybe Entei will get it if they bring Entei out
If anyone wants it for less gems, wait until you've gone through all the panic parade and cake challenge dice before spending any gems. I'm already at about 600 points just from those which drops the price from 1365 gems to only about 400-600 if I were to mash the complete map button
One thing that doesnt sit right with me is that its "sky attack" looks much more like brave bird rather than sky attack
I enjoy your videos man. I watch your vids to mostly learn how other pokemon play and how to be better against each pokemon and situation as a leafeon main. I did 2 days of the event then spend gems and I already had 300 just sitting there chilling. Hardly had to spend any money. Playing ho-oh is a lot of fun but also a little challenging from my experience. Definitely not broken at all. I had a few games where timing the unite at the right time during the ray fight absolutely changed the game instantly. I'm happy with spending 8 dollars for it and so far if I had any advice from my experience for anyone is definitely learn when and when not to unite. I feel like that's the most important thing to learn and im still testing it at different times, situations, and locations. ho-oh is a good pokemon but in the right hands for sure. Not an expert lol but friendly advice from my experience. If I asked for a video from you, I would be very intrigued to learn more about the timing of when to dive bomb (me personally as leafeon lol), or when to avoid a fight even if your teammates spam ping you. Love learning from your videos so thank you for the fun content.
I'm not really sure whether Ho-Oh's fire spin is bugged or not. Because it's said that before the move is upgraded to fire spin+, there wouldn't be any heat wave damage if the shield is broken or before it's being casted again after the gauge reaches the mark
I have noticed Sky Attack seems to get stunned more often and Fire Spin certainly has its moments where I’m like did it even work? Lol

If Ho-oh were released like Zacian or Mewtwo fly would grab an enemy and allow you to drop them into your team. Flamethrower wpuld inflict slow, reduced attack, and attack speed. Sky attack would stun any enemies it hit. Fire spin would ignore shields. The revival would grant a shield to all allies in the vicinity for 20% of Ho-oh's total HP.
Thank God TiMi started using common sense.
Picture this Sableye teamed with Ho oh… Sableye sends the enemy team back to base and Ho oh revives the ally team during Ray battle

After doing some playtesting of my own I genuinely think everyone is overhyping SkySpin, I can't get along with it at all, it feels so genuinely awful and FlyThrower seems to be a lot more in tune with what Ho-Oh's gameplan seems to be. I do think the bulk overall is extremely underwhelming, especially for a defender, I think it takes the least amount of damage for any defender, so you have to use your mobility to win engages, more like a horrific speedster/defender hybrid. I would honestly remove the points mechanic when they de-EXify it and make it so it can only rez one person, let you choose who to revive rather than it be a big burst around you and let it actually have some bulk.

I had gems saved already and bought it after using all the dice I could I like playing defender/support i enjoy it its so tanky youre like the teams big brother and youre always healing ho oh plus like blissey or eldegoss would be INSANE
Actually I think I'm just going to try to get Ho oh from the Ho oh challenge. Since I don't use the gems anyway. But I am looking forward to using Ho oh I liked both Lugia and Ho oh but I liked Ho oh more just because it's design and the colorful wings.

Me and my freind have been duo Ho-oh hoopa with him paying trick and it's soo fun just having him go down and I pop an ult to revive him and then he gets his unbound it's very funny
I bought him day 1 for 585 gems and I bought his holoware today because I used the 50% aeos gem disconnect ticket so it only costed a little over 1.1k gems total
Not buying it, cause if I can have it for free, I go for the free option. However, I am excited for it. The Unite DB stats show he has high HP but not as much Defense/Sp. Defense as other tanks, however he does have more Attack than other tanks. So I'm excited to experiment with it.
basiclly i buy ho oh right now and i get him to green badget and right now i think is a decent defender to me not has the crazy moves just the unite its lil broken and i love him :)

I bought Ho-Oh day one because she’s my favorite legendary. I’ve been having a blast with her and I too am enchanted, delighted even, that she’s the best EX legendary release in this game to date. I’m so happy! 😭🧡

It’s funny when an allied ho oh doesn’t know that resurrection requires balls and dies on Rayquaz without resurrecting anyone) but today the master was upgraded for 13 matches, thanks to the normal players on ho okha, and the lack of afk players today in the ultra league
i have ho oh so far hes ok. his unite is ok but your team need took out if they get revive since some player even after getting revive they just stand and do nothing and get killed for the second time.
The question is, is it balanced( for ex ) because it was designed like that or because they decided to nerf it since they are removing the ex tag? If that's the case how strong was it originally supposed to be considering its quite tough to take down already
Am I crazy for not seeing Ceruledge as ban worthy? I haven't had any issues with them personally
Smiles in Falinks and Buzzswole still being just as strong if not stronger than unnerfed EX mons (I totally didn’t buy them both after seeing the EX changes)

From the analysis of not game devs (lol) I’ve heard, they don’t really finish cycles. No Armarouge, no complete starters past Kanto, eeveelutions before gen 2, no Koraidon (yo I wish). So I hope so, HG was my first Pokemon game but still.

Im happy its not busted but this is the first pkmn ever where i have a negative winrate on, because i keep getting teammates with negative winrate which havent realized that this is a teamfight game, i would like to know what kind of experience other solo q players have made with it because for me this feels like one of the worst pkmn for solo q.

This is maybe one of those game changing mons, like Hoops with such a different mechanic that the game won't be the same. But it's not broken, at least, I'm really glad with this release and it has been a while since I'm hyped about it, usually I'm okay with them

"Feels balanced" i think it's because you can't use your Unite until a teamate dies, so your just stuck with 2 moves until conditions are met for Your unite .
Same as hoopa portals feel balanced but in coordination we see how broken it is. It will be the same for HOOH Unite move IMO.

I honestly think people that use gems to buy licences are just straight up weird (content creators are an exception) like why would buy something with real money which is gonna be free after a while? As someone who has spend over 8k gems in this game on holowears and battle passes, if you buy unite licenses with gems.. youre just straight up weird.
They uses gem to buy the pokemon because the pokemon is PAY TO WIN... because we all know after a week or two they will nerf the EX pokemon
