Very useful demonstration of divergent anatomy creating difficulty. Surgical remediation would provide long term relief. The patients age, weight, occupation etc will be telling in which approach is most suitable.
I have Vocal Cord Dysfunction and seeing this is phenomenal. I also have enlarged tonsils and have snored my entire life. My VSD makes it hard to breathe when my blood starts pumping. Seeing them actually close like this is so cool.
I got this obstructive sleep apnea after bilateral tonsi-styloidtecomy SURGURY i also have chronic micro aspiration history 😔 is there any SURGICAL cure ? I am not getting any cure for these from last 18 months
video on a loop. what would you say you are doing here? it's a video of a scope of the oropharynx. I am not a doctor but can see that all the comments seem similar. All "Good Job" comments. Good job for what?
I do not believe the video is on a loop. He is scoping him to assess what may be causing his continued airway issues during sleep. What he is doing is giving him increasing amounts of anesthesia to simulate the beginning of sleep all the way to deep sleep to assess and/or diagnose his issues by observing what his airway is doing during the different phases of sleep.

Superb demonstration Sir!! Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Can't we induce some chemical that will ultimately reduce the function of these muscles
Poor man!
What would you recommend for this patient?
Surgery : UPPP , Tonsillectomy , oropharyngeal lateral wall treatment , epiglottopexy , SOS AE fold modification with nasal turbinate reduction.
Can you do all that in one surger
Awesome sir.
So, what can be solved this issue?
He says it at the end, to connect the patient to a cpap machine while they sleep or a surgery to remove the excess of tissue.
Very interesting Doctor, thank you for sharing.
I pray that God appoints his angels to supply the physicians an answer that will help him! Amen
