I followed this guide and it turns out I needed a size up so the arch would get supported as shown in the video, but as soon as I start running with it, my feet was in a lot of pain. So I called superfeet and asked them about it, and they said that you have to pick the right size for your shoe, and that spacing you see there at the arch is so that when you are running or jumping, there's room for your feet to splat or flex. So it's by design, I returned that one and got the right size, and it felt great. Another note is to not necessary trim based on the sole, but leave a little more room than that so the sole would fit more snug inside the shoe.

Thanks for the video! I normally wear size 8 Mens, but I had to purchase the E (9-11) to fit my arch. Unfortunately, the end of plastic arch extends slightly under the ball of my feet. Would this be a problem?

So frustrating! Everything in this video is the opposite I’ve seen in others. I give up!
