Coming from a Saleen owner, this video is packed full of misinformation. If you're going to make a video on an already niche market, please do the proper research first.
While as a Sa'leen owner I apperciate the attempt at this video but it wrong in a lot of ways. FYI 2022 Black Label is NOT $200,000 more like 89k/99k. I also do not believe 2010 was as sought after as this video states. And your number 1 is a Saleen SR? You mean Safty Restrain ? Where is the S351? Again not as a put down... but this is wrong, and its not Sayleen, it's Sa Leen. Regards.
Saleen never used GT500 as based and modified them, as you stated mainly Mustang GTs/ and if you can find one they surprisingly took a few Cobra Terminators and added Saleen parts to those as well
@@awakenasleepsheep6000 nice choice! keep her, they are gonna worth something . I’m still trying to convince this younger generation about Mustangs rather than these god awful MOPARS
There's actually one GT500 that was sented to Saleen for the full Saleen conversion. White with blue stripes. I remember reading about it in a car magazine but it's the only one I heard about. Think it was a 2013-14 GT500.
@@The30somethin Yes, the salesman told me one day it could be worth $100,000. I have a black convertible which they only made 3 convertibles in 89 and my number is #140 off the line out of 250 made that year. I could have gotten a white hard top #70 but I fell in love with the convertible!!!
The SR-71 Say-Leen could fly Mach 5 at 75,000 feet.. It’s unibody design was built to expand and contract a maximum of 4.6 cm at full expansion/contraction limit.. It was painted ebony flat to absorb light refraction for low profile stealth missions..
The SA-15 was only available in yellow, not any other color. The first Saleen was in 1984 hence why the SA-15 is their 15th anniversary year car. Please stop saying Sayleen it’s Sa leen
I'm not sure Steve Saleen mind's how his last name is pronounced when people enunciate it as Say-leen, but it's correct enunciation is pronounced Suh-leen.
I really take care of my 1987 saleen it only goes out so the tires dont get flat spots my daughter remembers riding in it as a child her son will inherit the car its royal blue mint white glove
Dude…you need to do a LOT of research before posting a video like this. Start by learning how to say Steve’s last name. Then realize 1986 was not the first Saleen Mustang

At least pronounce SALEEN correct...right?
One of the miss information is the S281. The Saleen S281 model is introduced in 1996
@@marcosantoniodejesuspagan1265 Yep, crazy how they didn't even do the bare minimum of research

Are the leather seats easy to obtain from saleen upholstery?
You may be right, but I've always wanted an S281 and I consider it the best looking Mustang they've ever produced
I'm just now starting to learn about these as I become obsessed with speed at the age of 47 lol. The black label is definitely the one I want.

He used the LX models because they were lighter than the GT. I own an 89 Saleen. Bought it off the show room floor in Marietta, GA in 1989.

Wow .. the s351 didn’t make the cut ??? 😮
2:45 if im not mistaken the 281 was actually first introduced in the late 90's to early 2000's on the SN95 platform.

Steve pronounces his last name as Suh-leen, not Say-leen. I love when videos feature vintage Mustangs. Thank you!

Suh-leen. SA-10 should be on the list too.
S351 didn't make the list?
It will be in an upcoming video. Thanks for watching
didn't make it past the 1:00 mark, after you pronounced it as SAY-leen 7 times.
Steve Saleen never offered a GT500 that was done by Carroll Shelby
I thought this video was about the seven best Mustang models, what's the S1 doing on here?
That 98 mustang wow😮

Steve Saleen told me he thought the PJ was one of the best they ever made. I guess he wasn’t consulted for this

Also the Saleen S7 was Saleens first designed and built car.

The is more wrong in this video than accurate. Great shots of some of the cars and most are Saleens, but even at that some are misidentified.
Say Saleen correctly if youre going to make a vlog about it.
I like that thing.
Thanks for watching! I loved making this video. Those mustangs are 🔥🔥🔥
Built first car in 1986??? SMH...

Absolutely criminal that the 06-09 S281E isn't on this list. Shame on you.
Why they Coby ford
Why Saleen don''t build a original vehicle from the scratch ?
