  • Today we headed out to explore the stunning nature reserve of Abberton Reservoir in the care of Essex Wildlife Trust. The short walk of around 2 miles takes in several hides which overlook the vast expanse of water which is home to a vast array of wildlife including rare birds like Marsh Harriers and Spoonbills.

Beautiful bird photography there Joe. I could identify some of the birds and the labels you put on were really useful for the ones I couldn't. Thank you.

Excellent as always! Thanks Joe for visiting these small, often overlooked places and presenting them so well. Always a pleasure to watch.😀
