I delayed my visit for good weather cause I'd seen everyone else's shots of it and I wanted better. But paid the price for it, it was freezing and now I have man flu!!! 😷🤒🤕🤧🥶
Jury is still out on it's origin. 2 trains of thought 1st there's been a big fall of American birds this year in the UK so anything is possible. 2nd a wildfowl centre closed down a year or so ago and the owner dumped all their exotic birds including around 6 Canvasbacks so you can see how this looks bad for the cause of this bird being a legitimate vagrant.
Thanks Shaun. If they have been released deliberately they may well stay and start breeding. Hope they don't cause concern like the Egyptian geese.@@shaunferguson8782
