I had cold that lasted almost a month and had to do 10 shows within a span of 12 days. Try "Tulsi" drops mixed with hot water and take sip by sip. Worked like a miracle for me.
One time I had strepthroat. That was the only time I ever had a challenge with my vocals and I am a tenor, with a versatile style. I was told to take a few weeks off, but felt well after one to return and my regular voice was nearly gone, but my falsetto I never really used much prior except when needed grew very strong and gained another octave. My regular voice did return, though it was rough at first, I was careful with it to pick the songs that's compliment it. I've had some issues with my voice as I've grown older as a singer, and I tend to dance too and that is very difficult. I now have a disease that has affected my voice and sometimes its very strong, other times it's very rough and have to work it carefully. Great video. Love learning new ideas and methods. I'm getting ready to perform in a few days and will try to at least rest and take Tylenol if needed. I also take allergy medicine sometimes to help with breathing.

Thanks for the tips...I'm not a pro but enjoy a good Tuesday Karaoke at my local watering hole where people say I have a good voice 😅. Last Tuesday though I went after my throat was soar a few days prior aaaand woke up the next day not being able to talk more than a raspy whisper so I'm hoping I didn't completely blow out my voice. I'll have to use some of these methods like the Iodine.
Sir!! Please make video on. How to sing in English language ( if English is not our native language) I took example of me that . Am from India and English is not my native language. I can sing in English but sometimes . There are some songs that puzzle me to how I pronounce that. Which is very difficult for me. I watch many videos on that but I'be happy if you cover this thing. 😇😇😇 Your student from India 😇😇
Hi matt : i have a problem i hit everynote perfectly and if someone is hearing mewhile singing it will not hurt his ear but to me my voice is not beautiful or fabulous it make me feel something is missing and i can't find that missing tune in my singing what do i do? 😥
I believe Ramsey has good intentions, but I would strongly dissagree with his idea of using big pharma meds to help with your voice health!! It may help very temporarily but will destroy your voice & and health at any duration of use!

I also have a cold and the singing voice basically disappears for about 14 days, no matter how much I drink. It's just a waiting game.
