Gotta love the keyboard supervisors. Soo nice seeing some local video's of great work. I think I would enjoy this type of work but I'm not sure my body would. You just don't learn what you know over night. Have a great day guys!!!
Thank you, we're glad to have a positive supporter of the channel! Each day is a learning experience, and after years of putting it all together it makes the jobs like this easier.
It strikes me that at the start of a damage clean-up operation, entrepreneurs often report who have not been called. But this job is an example for many, neatly done.
Many times if we have not been given too many details on the severity of the accident, we wait until someone from our team arrives to make sure we bring all of the right equipment to complete the job. This accident was only 5 minutes away from our shop, so it worked out well for us.
WOW despite the carnage everything went well amazing no one killed or badly hurt that Semi truck had to be hauling AZZ Great Video need More great content
That was a mess I feel for a small company to loose equipment like that people don’t realize the cost to replace an excavator and trailer it is a lot of money! It’s good to put names to everyone now! Tell Tad I said hi! Till next time take care!
It for sure is a very expensive accident! Just the down time for the company while dealing with insurance is a huge loss. We had a rollback hit once, and it was 3 months by the time we saw it back from the body shop, with no compensation for the down time either. It certainly is not a fun position to be in!
I run lowboy, move our big wheel loaders , ditch boxes & so much more. Sence thats a mini e John Deer excavator, there was no reason why it shouldn't have stayed chained down. I see a lot of people moving these mini excavators & other similar sized equipment that aren't chained down """ Properly""" , how ? Chains loose & or just one or even no chains... If it was chained 👇 properly it would have stayed on the trailer. One chain over the blade, another chain on the front & back of the under carriage or a chain on each side then another one over the bucket. Thats what you call a "" unsecured load"" & luckily no one was killed. Good job recovery team...
Since it was ripped off of the trailer, we didn't get to see exactly how it was chained down. I can say that of the chain binders I saw, the hooks were opened right up. When we move our mini with our rollback, we use 4 independent points of tie down, plus one over the bucket.
If insurance totals it, the insurance company pays the owner for it, and then it gets transported to an insurance auction facility. They will auction it off to try to recoup any money on the claim/loss....so we won't get to keep it. But, even if we did, it is too far damaged to fix.

It is hard to communicate common sense and correct and safe ideas occasionally.

Hey Wilcock gentlemen that shovel thing if they say Insurance says the total do you think you guys can fix it and use it for something

Could be wrong but think he parks at bates .
