- You guys asked for it, we listened! With all of our discussions with customers and interactions on the forums and social media groups, we heard a lot of customers who were wanting to upgrade their audio system on their 5th Gen Ram 1500 Crew Cabs, and add some bass, but they really didn’t want to loose their cargo space under the back seat. So we did some head scratching and came up with what we think is a fantastic solution.
Until now, if you wanted behind the seat bass, your options were to find just the right woofer that fit inside the factory subwoofer enclosure, which there aren’t many, or slip one of the all in one sub-amp-enclosure combinations back there, but neither of those options are anything exciting. What we developed is using some of our favorite products in one plug-n-play package that will deliver fantastic output, without sacrificing audio quality. Because of how this has been developed, it will only be sold as loaded packages with the sub, amp and wiring kit included. We will not be selling the enclosure by itself. This enclosure was developed with these two woofers in mind.
The enclosure was designed to bolt into the truck behind the Passenger Back seat where the factory subwoofer would sit. We supply aluminum brackets and new hardware to secure it to the truck using factory mounting locations. THIS ONLY COMES AS A PACKAGE. WE WILL NOT SALE ONLY THE ENCLOSURE.
This fits all packages of 5th Gen Ram 1500 Crew Cabs. With and without reclining seats, with eTorque, and with or without the factory subwoofers. THIS WILL NOT FIT ANY QUAD CABS.
All of the packages will include the enclosure, subwoofer, amplifier or amplifiers, the necessary audio interface for your factory audio package, the battery cable for power and our bolt-in fuse block for next to the battery. This is a complete plug-n-play package that will be pre-wired for your application.

That is a great little amp. Replaced my Audiocontrol amp. Doesn’t take much gain coming off the Harmon sub signal. Just a hair or so.

How fast can you ship it out?
I have the alpine in my 2019 Ram, the bass is "okay", but I want way more. With your set up, do you pick the amp and sub (I miss my old Kicker Pro Comps), or do we? And is it a massive improvement from the stock? I'm close to Wichita Falls and would love to get this installed in the near future.
Because of the tight space that we have available, we only offer it with two subwoofer options and 1 amplifier. This way we can guarantee the performance of the system and help with the installation and integration simplicity. And yes, it's a significant improvement over the factory system. It's just impossible to get that to show through a video.
Do you have a short instructional for the sub/ 4 channel AMP package? Where you would have the 3 plugs on the harness as well as speaker cable and PCA RCA output? Specifically how to connect the harness, what RCA cables= FL, FR, BL, BR, how to set RCA gain, and color codes for wires?
I do not, sorry. Sounds like you're wanting a walk through for a full system replacement, right?
@@user-ym4vf9dr9f I wouldn't be able to make a video without someone coming in wanting that specific thing. We can sell you a harness and the parts needed to make it plug n play, but I couldn't help you with a how to video.
@@user-ym4vf9dr9f since you have Alpine, you will have to use the Pac AmpPro to get you the signal for the new amplifier.
@@user-ym4vf9dr9f There is no full range signal in the truck other than behind the radio but the volume knob on the radio won't allow it to turn up or down. So the high level input is great, but you don't have any usable audio signals in the Jeep for that amp to use. Here is an article about how it works. You really have no choice but the AmpPro.

Can yall make one for 2 subs behind the seat? I dont have etorque so theres no battery pack back there
We have the dimensions but want a truck here to test fit in before making it public.
Can you show where you ran the remote wire? I’m assuming it is for a control knob. Where do you recommend mounting/running the wire to? Also, will you have recommended amp settings for both your ported and sealed box options. Lastly, will you be making a video of the set up/wiring for the extra 4 channel amp set up?
The remote level knob cable gets tucked into the door sill and ran to wherever you want it. That's why we didn't go too much into detail with it. That sub knob is a touchy subject and everyone has different preferences and ideas on how it should be. Some want it right next to the console, some don't want to see it at all, some don't want holes or modifications. So it's up to you and the trim package of your truck.
On some trucks, there is a trim panel over on the left side of the dash that is easily removable and you can mount it there without worrying much about ruining something that can't be easily replaced. That's one of our goto places.
Will this work in a 2024 big horn with no factory sub. And i would probably need a Line output converter also correct?
Yes it will work, and when you select the options that suite your truck on the website, it will come with all the parts and wiring for your truck's audio package.

I have a Skar 1500.1D. I dont believe it turns on like that. So Im guessing I have to run that 12v rem to a 12v swith accessory fuse location at the fusebox under the steering wheel? I have an APH-CH3 to bypass ANC. But im not getting where to wire the line output converter? Do i wire it to the sub behind the seat? (I have the Alpine system- 2021 Ram Laramie).
We don't use the APHCH03, we use our own harness that plugs in at the stock subwoofer. It's doing the same thing, just fewer parts and a simpler assembly on the part.
Where is the 12v remote turn on ran to???
These amplifiers have auto turn on so they turn on automatically when they see audio in. So no need for an ignition source.
So if the truck doesn't have the eTorque battery, is that spot behind the driver's side seat just flat metal? Just curious if that would be a good spot for other accessories while you already have the seats out.
There's a lot of room on the Driver's side behind the seat. We're working on another enclosure to fit in that space, too.
Will this work on the 5th gen quad cab as well? There is already very limited space and I have a kid and dog. Hopefully this will be the answer to my problem.
Sorry, it will not work on the Quad Cab, only the Crew Cab. There is very little space behind the seat of the Quad Cab trucks.
Right beside your self tapping ground install at 11:50, there is a threaded hole and two taped holes that i assume are also threaded. Much larger and more solid ground point because its for seats or belts right. So im curious why running a thread tap through to remove paint, wouldnt reveal a better heavier duty ground point, and why you dont use it.
We know customers who have used the stock grounding points in these trucks and have had issues, so we recommend making your own ground so that you know it's condition and capabilities. Plus, if you ever DO have issues, it makes it easier to troubleshoot because it is one less thing to not worry about.
And, on these Ram trucks, sometimes the threaded inserts aren't as secure as you would think. We had a brand new Mega Cab here, literally 7000ish miles on it, and we pulled the back seat and one of the retaining nuts that is "welded" to the floor bottom came undone just from us pulling the bolt. It made that nut free spin and we had to grab it from the bottom instead of it staying attached to the truck. So you don't know the condition of their connections. What you may think is a great piece of metal, may be a nut with two crappy tack welds holding it on place.
Any plans for gen 4 or classic rams?
We already have a ton of options for those trucks, just not any enclosures for behind the seat. There isn't enough room for that.

That was installed by the customer before we got hold of the truck, so I don't have any information to help you out. Sorry.
Do you have anything similar for a 2022 Ram 2500? I recently "upgraded" the stock sub to the Pioneer, but it leaves a lot to be desired. I'd really like something like this, plug and play, for the subwoofer in a 2500. Thank you!
We offer all sorts of packages for those trucks. The 3rd-5th Gen body of Rams is what we became known for online. And we can absolutely get a plug n play bundle made up, but it won't go behind the seat. There isn't enough room for that.

Where did the base knob end up? Any video for that location ?
Everyone has different needs and opinions on bass knobs and they're typically going to require modifications on the dash if you want them discreate.
In this application, we took the remote apart and mounted it in the panel below the headlight switch and above the ebrake. That panel is easily removable and normally has plenty of space to mount a subwoofer knob. We also tend to take them apart and mount them facing downward in the trim panel that covers the gear selector knob, but that is a more involved.
I have two JL tw513 on a ford and need them on a dodge ram 2019. Have any info on where I can get a box for those ?

For under the seat, absolutely. But not for behind the seats. There is barely enough room for amps back there.
So can I keep my ANC system? I have the Limited HK system
If you're changing anything on the audio system, you will need to bypass the ANC system. Most people don't find that much of a difference with it off vs on.
Do the non-limited 1500s have a seat back release?
They do not, you'll have to unbolt the seat. It's only a couple bolts, not anything terribly difficult.
Or..OR...a great spot for an AR15.

What if we don't have limited. How get seats down
You will have to remove the seat to get to the back wall if you don't have a limited. That's covered at the beginning of the video, it isn't hard and is just a few bolts.
I have 2020 bighorm 8.4 non nav base system with i want to add this with 4ch for the suround.
We have that as an option. We have integration options for your truck for just adding the subwoofer or also adding the 4-channel amp. All plug n play.

I'm sorry that you feel that way. It's name brand equipment in a very custom enclosure, so the price reflects that.
What was the max volume number before clipping on this truck?
Nice video, so if my truck is the non amplified sytem no stock amp or sub and i add my subs and sub amp should my lpf and subsonic be set a certain way to get the best output since the since my signal is limited? Or aslong as i feed my amp the biggest signal possible it can handle i should be good with my sub sonic set at say 28hz and lpf at 80hz
With a non-premium system, the amp is getting a full range signal from whatever you tapped into on the truck, so setting it like you have it is fine. The only time to run it wide open is if it is being tapped into a factory woofer.
@@Netaudiowf ok cool well I bought the harness/anc by pass along with the wavetechDQ from you. So I'm all good. Gonna try moving my box around see if it makes some difference but seems my q class 8s and the ported box I have them in which is 1.4cu net 4" aero falls off big time after 33hz that I'm tuned at and doesn't pick back up til like 48hz big dead spot from 35hz to 46hz like my subs aren't even moving and I jus hear bass coming out the door speakers
@@johnnypiper1717 Hmm. Sounds like something is cancelling in there. Try unplugging one RCA from the amp and see what happens.

@@johnnypiper1717 solids are positive, stripes are negative. Left to right doesn't matter for a sub on a mono amp.

You could, but normally simpler is better for output. If you're wanting loud, I would just focus under the seat.

@@bobbybrooks5846 it can, but I wouldn't recommend it. When you're adding multiple subs in different locations like that, you tend to get some cancellation issues. I would never leave the stock woofer connected when adding aftermarket.

just took out seat and liner and theres no sub. 20 1500 bighorn crewcab. theres no connector either at this harness, guess i gotta run new wires now.
We have harnesses for all audio packages to make it plug n play. If you have the ANC system with 6 microphones in the headliner then it's still a very simple installation done without having to remove the radio from the dash.
