We can do it to keep the center channel, it's just more involved on the tuning process if you want it to work like you expect it to. Thanks for replying. I know of the racks on the website but I saw one in the video that was different. It had a solid base foe additional equipment.

We've had customers make their own for the back wall. We haven't worked on many of the Quads so we don't have something designed for them yet. But there is room to do something back there.

That's not a bad idea, we do sell a lot of them. We'll work on that, so keep an eye out for it.

That's a rather involved question for a RUclips comment. Give the shop a call and we can go over some options and our favorites.

This kit is only for the 5th Gen 1500 Crew Cabs. The HD trucks are completely different and don't have near the space behind the seat. All of our enclosure options for that truck are for under the seat.

There is way less room behind the seats on the Quad Cabs. We're barely squeaking out what we are, with that little amount of space I would be surprised if we could even fit the sub in there.

Space under the front seats is very limited, driver and passenger. The back wall is pretty standard because of that.

Yes, we're unplugging the stock subwoofer to get our signal so the factory woofer will not work. But, if you're adding new subs to the truck you will want to disconnect the stock woofer anyway in order to avoid any cancellation issues. You will get more and better output by running one subwoofer setup instead of yours and the factory.

If it has a factory amplifier then yes, it is only going to play mids and bass, no highs.

The cover can be trimmed and put back in place, but the cover won't do anything to protect the battery. It is safe if you leave the cover out.

The new series of amps are thicker than the minis so they will limit the seat folding up as far. If you have recline, no issues.

It has to be installed between the head unit and the amplifier, which is still before the crossover since it is built into your amp. Just use the crossover settings on the amplifier instead of the one in the head unit. If you can't turn that one off, just set it to the highest frequency that it will go.

What factory sound system is in there now? I'd rather run the LC7 so I can keep front, rear and sub. I know people use the LC2i for a 6 channel setup but it's not really intended to do that.

I know, it's an inexpensive part and shipping is expensive. We use USP in the smallest package we can fit it and give you our shipping discounts and it's still that high. We can ship USPS for cheaper, but it's slow as Christmas and more unreliable, so we choose to stick with one carrier for all of our shipments, large or small. Sorry if that doesn't help, but we don't like paying high shipping either.

It does, but that doesn't mean that's a bad thing. What it is actually doing is turning the bass up as you go down in volume.

​@davidwands5395 we make plugs that plug into the subwoofer signal at the stock subwoofer behind the seat and we are feeding that into the amp high level. No need for a converter and extra cost of it and RCAs.

This setup I believe was for three Sundown SA10s. Those 4000s shouldn't be a problem, they don't call for large enclosures.

Depends on the system and the speakers being used. This truck had the Harman system in it and it has 4ohm speakers so the power remains the same but the sound quality difference is definitely noticeable. On the Alpine and Base audio systems, they have 2ohm speakers so swapping them out will require you finding 2ohm speakers, which are not all that common.

That will be kind of tricky to diagnose through a RUclips chat. Have you tried calling AudioControl? Their tech support is great. My guess is your signal feeding the Epicenter isn't wired correctly.

@@Netaudiowf I'll make sure to give them a call. I have the epicenter knob all the way down but even if I adjust my subwoofer bass knob on rap songs to how I usually listen to it (loud), it's like the bass is quiet and not as clear and crisp as how my system sounded before the epicenter. Ill make sure to check the wiring though. Thanks!

@@hbarbosa1235 If you unplug one of your RCAs going into your amp and it gets louder, you have one of your inputs is wired backward from the other. That's what this sounds like to me. If it gets quieter, then I would guess some of your settings on your amp are wrong.

In this case the truck had the stock Alpine system so we used the factory wiring for it. If the truck has the base audio package then yes, we would run new wires to them.

@@Netaudiowf on the base audio has some kind of cross over before the dash speaker ?

@@KelvinTaylor-gu4xo there isn't a crossover, they're just tied together so whatever you feed to the door gets fed to the dash. If you want to go active you would have to run a new wire to separate them.

We don't recommend using that ground, or any of them back there. We have had too many customers call with issues related to them trying to use one of those points back there, so we always suggest making your own ground on the floor.

The RCAs will go from behind the radio to wherever you have your amplifier mounted. In this case, yes, we're running it from behind the radio to behind the back seat.

Depends on the 15, but my guess is to say no. There is a AudioMobile one that fits but it's tight.

I'm not sure what you mean by reflex port. If you just mean ported then that is discussed in the video. A ported enclosure is technically a bass reflex enclosure, that's the engineering term for it, so I'm assuming that's what you're referring to.

@@Netaudiowf Yo! I mean the membrane Kicker has in some of their down-firing subs that works with the sub's movements but just opposite. The ones looking like there are two subs, but one of them is just a membrane. Would be very interesting to see how that changes your numbers. Cheers!

@@AllanoizTM AH! You mean a passive radiator. I love passive radiators. That will still act like a subwoofer so it will still help the deeper bass by downfiring.

Under the seat the 25s are the same. Behind the seat we know there are some differences and haven't had our hands on one yet to verify things other than our amp rack fitting.

This was two 10s, but two 8s would work well in there, too.
