I found it pretty funny how you really did not know who Ted Gärdestad was (1979 - Satellit). That's so weird to me since he's such a pop music icon in Sweden, everyone here knows his music, most people love it! Had no idea it was just in Sweden 😂
Some Funfacs: *Almost all songs from 1958 to 1999 is still very popular * Boogalooga was called 4 bugg and a coca cola * both Frans and Carola was 16 during Melodifestivalen or Eurovision * Benjamin watched ESC at Carolas house in 2009 when Rybak won * Eric Saade and Robin Stjernberg was in a group together before Melodifestivalen * Abba still to this day own my hometown a consert for practising in a cinema we had, in the early stages of their carerr
The girl representing Sweden in 1961 was one of our most beloved singers. The whole country mourned when she passed earlier this year. Barbro “Lill-Babs” Svensson. She will be missed. She was also married to the guy representing us in 1975! :)
7:37 Björn Skifs is the singer for "Hooked on a feeling" that made it a little more popular beacuse it was used in Guardians of the Galaxy trailer and movie :)
Arvingarna - Eloise.... Swedish young people STILL sing this song on the clubs when it comes on, everyone just screams ELOISE!, they still perform sometimes in the clubs in my hometown et.c Also... 1995... one of the best swedish euro songs of the 90's... me and my friends can still sing the song from heart! im born in 1989 and swedish ofc.
Charlotte Perilli is Benjamin Ingrosso´s aunt and Tommy Körberg´s son Anton is halfbrother to Tim Bergling "Avicii". Tommy Nilsson is son in law to Lill Babs that died earlier this year. She was a very Close friend to Benjamin Ingrosso´s family and she wished Benjamin good luck in Eurovison just Before she died.
3:13 "En gång i Stockholm" is one of my favorite Swedish entries in Eurovision. It's such a beautiful song, Monica Zetterlund was an amazing jazz singer, and the lyrics are also amazing. But people don't understand Swedish, so...
jah, and if you were in a quaier or a juth orcestra then about 80% of these songs you had to lern. I was in both so I had to lern and uderstand these songs , and the older are still so populer as now clasics. every child in school lerns som of them. it is a real tip down memory lain.
Looking at this compilation, I feel like we used to send big stars but don’t anymore. There were lots of entries on this list that I had no idea had been in Eurovision but I could sing along to the songs and knew the artists.
Kenny T. Anderson I think the stage made a big difference. In the swedish selection they had a big stage and lots of visual effects and walking down a stair. But in the final it was a rather small stage and looked just ridiculous.
Just realized how Sweden's recent contestants have pretty much all been brown haired young men.. gotta keep that in mind when I'm watching the next melodifestivalen. 😂😂
2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Up until Benjamins win I didn't think about it all that much, but you're right. Another one would be sort of weird. But let's not judge a year in advance. ;-P
Mockingjay Soo, some Swedish grammar. “Melodifestivalen” means “the Melodifestival” Instead of adding “the” we add “en” , ”an” or “et” at the end. The table = bord - _et_ The tree = träd - _et_ The elevator/lift = hiss - _en_ The mess = rör - _an_ *The Melodifestival = Melodifestival - **_en_*
Hjortsater, Good for you dude. I failed high school after 3 years only 'cause I couldn't learn Swedish that we are forced to learn here, even when we will never have to use it. I literally wasted 3 years of my life because of one useless language.
this is definitely one of the best reaction videos i've ever seen. instead of just taking a video and putting your face on the side you actually gave real criticism and your opinion. well done my dude
Fun fact. Both singers in the duo of 1994 represented Sweden at other times. Roger Pontare returned in 2000 (and he is indeed a genuine Sami schaman, a priest of their indigenous religion). The woman (forgot her name) was earlier a part of "Family four" who were at eurovision in 1971 and 1972. Siw Malmqvist indeed represented Sweden in 1960, and then she sang for Germany in 1969, competing against Tommy Körberg. From 1959 to 1961 Melodifestivalen was only for picking the song, not the artist. They would send a different artist to eurovision than the one who won Melodifestivalen. In 1958 it was internally selected. The first entry of 1958 is Alice Babs, who rose to fame in 1940 at the age of 16. She has sung with Duke Ellington and was a huge deal. They internally selected her and picked a song but she didnt like the lyrics and demanded they change them. They did, but then the composer refused to allow it to be studio recorded and sold on records. It was released on a record many many years later, and only the recording of the eurovision as no studio version was ever made.
nadirhajjour Yeah, that's what they claimed. Sweden also claimed that Israel 2002 was a ripoff of the song "Teddybjörnen Fredriksson" by Lasse Berghagen.
well the composer of the 1996 belgium entry told thomas g:son they were gonna sue them but they handled it outside court with a money settlement... so it's safe to say it was a rip off lol
nadirhajjour Or G:son just didn't want to deal with court proceedings and preferred to bail out with cash rather than fight it. The fact that they settled it with cash doesnt prove anything.
Did you know that Charlotte Perrelli, the winner in 1999 (Then Nilsson) is aunt to Benjamin Ingrosso? She was married to his fathers brother. Also the girl who vissled in the 60s, Lill-Babs, died at the besinning of April this year.RIP Lill-Babs❤️ A Week before that the older man in the choir behind Tommy Nilsson, Jerry Williams died. Both he and Lill-Babs were very famous here in Sweden.RIP Jerry Williams❤️ speaking of Tommys choir, they were all famous in Sweden , the only one who still were going strong nowdays were Jerry Williams, the other ones does not song that much any more, maybe Tommy Ekman. The reason why Tommy N had them in the choir ? Well because he had been in the choir for them and he only asked them for a favour back. If you search for them here on youtube you can search for: Tommy Ekman, Jean-Paul Wall, Jerry Williams, Ankie Bagger and Vicky Benckert ( Vicky sang in melodifestivalen 1984) Thank you for this reaction, loved it.
Another fun fact: The background singers for Tommy Nilsson 1989 all were famous musicians on their own. He had been backing all of them at mutliple occations, so he called the favour back for Melodifesivalen in 1989.
thumbs up for loving "stad i ljus", it is one of your favourites.. I love the meaning behind the lyrics, hatred doesn´t end until we can see a world without boundaries
Lol, it's similar in the UK. Although they are not doing that well as of late, the viewing figures are still really high. Yet when you ask people, they never seem to admit it. It's shame based... :D
Amazing try to say a swedish song title 👌 The reason Sweden was doing so bad before the 80s was because so many swedes protested against eurovision, even artists and songwriters Btw, could you please please please react to Nanne Grönwalls entry "Avundsjuk" for Melodifestivalen 1998?
On the official eurovision channel they did a quiz with participants on famous eurovision songs from the past, and when they got to Sattelite, referring to Lena, Benjamin Ingrosso initially thought of Sweden 1979.
Fun fact: In the "One more time" - Den vilda-clip, the singer (Nanne Grönwall) in the grey jacket is married to the pianist Peter Grönwall who is the son of a very famous musician, Benny Andersson from ABBA =) And the clip from 2005, "Las Vegas" - Martin Stenmarck, he won over Nanne's entry - Håll om mig" in the melodifestivalen. the jury voted for him but the people wanted Nanne but...nope..many MANY people were angry about that. Including me...so please react to Nanne's Håll om mig.. :)
Frans released a song a few years where he sang about Zlatan. After a while I wondered "What happened to that kid?". I found out one week later that he won Melodifestivalen the weekend after.
On the 1989 entry. The reason why the backup singers are so into it is because they're all famous singers in Sweden, and that's just their respective stage presence showing. It was a big thing in Sweden that they were all there as backup singers. 🤣 🇸🇪
Enjoying these videos SO MUCH!!! So glad to see that there are many many coming, delishh!! :D. Your reactions are SO contagious :D. Especially when you go: "I love Eurovision so much!" :D. YESS! And they are so so funny as well, with your comments about the backing vocalists who are so into it or ramming the pencil in your eye socket, or disliking the goat vibrato, omg, haha :D. For me personally, Sweden has to be the all time favorite Eurovision country, for having produced the highest quantity of songs to die for! Even though I don't really really like a single entry until 1994 :D, I very much agree with your comments about Abba, and - also agreeing with jlhabitan50, that many of the "Swedish" sounding entries have not aged well to the ear. Having said that, it's impossible to hate many of those songs (especially Charlotte and Carola) after your comments :D - you make a convinicing point ("it can't be all that bad" - omg, haha). But what makes you like Undo ? - I guess the uuundooo part does the same to me as Robin Sternberg's youuu does to you, uuugh (just can't stand it, sorry :D). My personal favorites are Frans - his sincerity and minimal performance touch that sweet nostalgia for teenage romance
i am swedish and i remember first time i went to orlando florida. the '' i cant go on '' song came on in a store we were at ( dont remember what its called ) i legit felt happy that swedish songs still have popular swedish songs around the world ( new or old )
I usually don't like Måns Zelmerlöv, but it pisses me of when people say his song is more show than substance. This is of one of ESC's song with the most heartfelt substance. And definately the song with most depth coming from Sweden. Some, like the song It hurts, come close, but Måns is the king of the hill in this regard. It hurts worked poorly when translated to english. The swedish version was on par with Måns but lost to much of it depth in english.
Almost every entry has become true Swedish classics here, with only a handful of songs that didn't. Its like that the placing in ESC didn't matter much. I really enjoyed your commentary!
1977 is actually my grandpa’s brother! My last name is forbes! On christmas he always takes out his guitar and starts singing😂 His name is Peter Forbes.
The text of our entries from 1966 and 1968 are really good - check them out. Regarding the line from our entry in 1973: that line you liked is pretty much a direct translation from the Swedish original. It makes no more sense there either. We really did find our niche somewhat in the 1980's. Christer Björkmans song was written by Niklas Strömstedt a well-known singer/songwriter and is really good. Our entry in 2013 was just so-so for me at first listening but has since grown to become one of my favourite entries this century from my homeland. My favourites were: From the 50's - 1959 - Augustin. From the 60's - 1966 - Annorlunda vals, 1968 - Det börjar verka kärlek banne mej, 1969 - Judy min vän. From the 70's - 1974 - Waterloo, and 1975 - Jennie Jennie. From the 80's - 1980 - Just nu, 1983 - Främling, 1984 - Diggiloo Diggiley, 1988 - Stad i ljus (One of my favourites of all times) and 1989 - En dag. From the 90's - 1991 - Fångad av en stormvind, 1993 - Eloise, 1995 - Se på mig. From the 00's - 2000 - When spirits are calling my name, 2004 - It hurts, 2007 - The worrying kind. From the 10's - 2012 - Euphoria, 2013 - You, 2015 - Heroes and 2016 - If I were sorry.
I like how he talks about Loren “The winner, before the show even started” etc while we Swedes made fun of her when it aired 😂 Also for your information: Björn Skifs is the one who made Hooked on a Feeling. Really iconic song around the world, so big that it had a BIG ROLE in Guardians of the Galaxy.
Fun fact: Alice Babs (1958 entry) does the swedish voice of Cinderella in the Disney movie! :D (And of course Måns Zelmerlöw does the voice of Flynn Rider).
@ESCunited When Spirits Are Calling My Name from year 2000. I understand if you dont get it, but it is like It Hurts. It is much better in Swedish and people here is still listening to it.And probably you know it but if you dont. Charlotte Perelli who sang "Hero" 2008 is the same artist that won 1999 with "Take Me To Your Heaven" Just with another last name.
Björn Skifs was the lead singer of Blue Swede, the band that had a big hit in America with their "Ooga-chaka, ooga-chaka"-enhanced cover of "Hooked on a Feeling"
Tommy Körberg is a national treasure, thank you for recognising his greatness. When he sang Stad i ljus he was actually horribly ill and in pain. Best song in all of Eurovision in my opinion.
So many memories!! In the early 2000s my dad would buy me the melodifestivalen album of every year from when I was like 5 til 10 and I would play it on my pink sparkly cd player and jam to it, it was a look for sure, still know all of the early 00 entries by heart
Wow I never knew so many famous Swedes competed in Eurovision in the first few decades. I was so surprised how many names I recognized even from the first decade.
I love Sweden. They bring original stagings. My favourites entries are: 1969: WoW, It's really beautiful 1974: One of my favourites of ABBA 1996: Interesting. I think this is my winner that year. 2000: I like it. In my top 5 2001: I love it. It makes me happy. My 4th place that year 2009: So wonderful. In my top 10 2010: Cute and peaceful 2011: Great rythm. In my top 3 2012: My winner 2015: My runner-up 2017: The dance is great But 2014 and 2016 were also good I can't wait to see your next video :). I would like to hear your opinions about Spain's entries or Yugoslavia's entries
The 1968 one is such a bop lmao I had no idea it was in Melodifestivalen, but everytime me and my friends are having a home party we put this on and everyone go absolutely bonkers xd
The swedish entry from 2000 is so much better in Swedish, than it was in English. The swedish lyrics are very powerful, and they along with the folk sound completely stole my heart. ❤
I dont get how Stad i ljus (Tommy Körberg) could score that low. Its such a powerfull song, a real anthem (funny since i he mostly known for his song Anthem from Chess) He had a cold that year if i remember correctly, and maybe it was a little too slow for the esc, but still. Its millions times better than Popular. I have a treat for you, Martin Stenmarck singing the song on a famous musicshow. The guy is a great singer and amazing entertainer. (ruclips.net/video/3YvR9a5RnAM/видео.html) Also Satelit (Ted Gärdestad) should have been much higher imo. Great song and Ted is a Swedish icon. I really recommend you listening to it. But maybe to much rock and too little schlager for esc.
Wow, you are seriously knowledgable abour swedish music and history. Good job! And yes, Euphoria was a clear winner...! It was truly magic in Sweden before, during and after the ESC that year. People truly knew for sure she would win even before the contest. It's my personal favorite ESC song in the history of ESC.
RIP Lill-Babs ❤️

I found it pretty funny how you really did not know who Ted Gärdestad was (1979 - Satellit). That's so weird to me since he's such a pop music icon in Sweden, everyone here knows his music, most people love it! Had no idea it was just in Sweden 😂
TUVA yeah, I noticed that too, especially since he seemed to know so many of the other singers.
TUVA satellit is the best song in Eurovision history
klockan är nu halv 2 på natten och kan inte sova för jag har den låten i huvudet, why u do me like that😂
Satellit! Satellit! Woooooohohohohoh,
Satellit is IMHO one of the best Swedish entries and yet it flopped, i think i saw it live on tv at the time, but i was only 7 or 8.
unpopular opinion but Sweden has deserved all their high positions. bye
ESC Party I agree, and I am not even Swede. 👍👏👏
ESC Party agree all except Euphoria!
In televote 100% deserved

Some Funfacs:
*Almost all songs from 1958 to 1999 is still very popular
* Boogalooga was called 4 bugg and a coca cola
* both Frans and Carola was 16 during Melodifestivalen or Eurovision
* Benjamin watched ESC at Carolas house in 2009 when Rybak won
* Eric Saade and Robin Stjernberg was in a group together before Melodifestivalen
* Abba still to this day own my hometown a consert for practising in a cinema we had, in the early stages of their carerr
Xantippa1000 I know I live in Sweden
Xantippa1000 okay
Can't believe Satellit didn't place higher in ESC, such a good song, and a Swedish classic!
Lill-Babs (1961) and Lasse Berghagen (1975) were married and had a daughter who was married to Tommy Nilsson (1989).

I think it actually started with the dancing animated baby in "Ally McBeal". Blue Swede or as they was called in Sweden Blåblus (Blue Blouse)
Skifs voice, though. Pretty fab.

Eloise was great! It deserved top 5 in my opinion

3:13 "En gång i Stockholm" is one of my favorite Swedish entries in Eurovision. It's such a beautiful song, Monica Zetterlund was an amazing jazz singer, and the lyrics are also amazing. But people don't understand Swedish, so...
Definitely. Love Monica, love that song. Had no idea it was in Eurovision. But perhaps to slow for ESC?
Definitely the most extraordinary vocalist Sweden has EVER sent to ESC. The Ella Fitzgerald of Sweden. RIP Monica Z ❤❤
I understand swedish... buuut I don’t like it anyways
Yeah, too mellow for euro I guess.
I hated it the first time I heard it, but it grew on me. I love all Zetterlund-songs now, and I often find myself singing "En gång i Stockholm".
As a Swede, this almost makes me cry...so proud, and it brings back a lot of good memories!

2010 must be horrible for anna to be known as the only one not to make the final
Its pretty sad when you think of it
Sweden, rightly so takes the contest very seriously and very often sends huge stars.
Gareth Jones This year?
No. Too basic.
Looking at this compilation, I feel like we used to send big stars but don’t anymore. There were lots of entries on this list that I had no idea had been in Eurovision but I could sing along to the songs and knew the artists.
Huge stars? Not at all, they are c-celebrities at best for very young girls who only like them for a year or two then they forget them.
No we don't
We send people with potential to grow big.
Hes like a ESC wikipedia. Fun and informative reaction video. Great job
I wholeheartedly agree with you about The Ark! The Worrying Kind should've ranked much much higher.
It was a hit at my nephew's daycare :)
I loved and loves this song so much, I used to blast it while playing as a kid and nowadays I have it in my work playlist
It just suck that Måns Zelmerlöw had his song Cara Mia against The Ark that year and it was in my opinion so much better.
It's a great song, but it got into trouble for sounding too much like Love Grows Where My Rosemary Goes.
Kenny T. Anderson I think the stage made a big difference. In the swedish selection they had a big stage and lots of visual effects and walking down a stair. But in the final it was a rather small stage and looked just ridiculous.

Mockingjay
Soo, some Swedish grammar. “Melodifestivalen” means “the Melodifestival” Instead of adding “the” we add “en” , ”an” or “et” at the end.
The table = bord - _et_
The tree = träd - _et_
The elevator/lift = hiss - _en_
The mess = rör - _an_
*The Melodifestival = Melodifestival - **_en_*

Satellit is alot of nostalgia for swedish kids born from 2000 to 2006
Ps: Undo was 2 points from not going to Eurovision
Super secret Squirrel Society Omggg jaa
Ted have so many good songs.
But Satelit was not good at all.
Same same same like Jenny Jenny 54 times in 3 minutes.(Berghagen).
Also for us kids born before 2000

ESCunited Hahaha, and now too many people hate Sweden, and it is quite sad. 😔
Why did they protest?
On the official eurovision channel they did a quiz with participants on famous eurovision songs from the past, and when they got to Sattelite, referring to Lena, Benjamin Ingrosso initially thought of Sweden 1979.

Good timing. Now you're not allowed to leave though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

garbokatten Rich guy
It’s one of my favourite Swedish entries as well.
you are such a genuine and kind-sweet person. You gave me THE BEST vibes and energy. Love you man!
So sad that Tommy was sick 1988, that made his vocal preformance less magical than it was in Melodifestivalen.
Man I love your personality. You bring out my flamboyant, schlager-loving side. Nice commentary!!

Finland only got two amazing songs. 1. Beat - fri? (1990) and 2. Pernilla Karlsson - Nar jag blundar (2012)
Why do you have so many subs but no vids?
Oh, and "schlagerlicious" :D - what a great term :D - i can SO relate to that sensation :D!
I love this guy he knows so much he knows so much about Sweden and is so positive!!!
😘
i am swedish and i remember first time i went to orlando florida. the '' i cant go on '' song came on in a store we were at ( dont remember what its called ) i legit felt happy that swedish songs still have popular swedish songs around the world ( new or old )
1979 Ted Gärdestad is still a very popular singer and he committed suicide in 1997
It was really fun watching you trying to sing along with the Swedish lyrics xD
Love this video ♥️🇸🇪
Amazing video!!
1977 is actually my grandpa’s brother! My last name is forbes! On christmas he always takes out his guitar and starts singing😂 His name is Peter Forbes.
How does this amazing channel only has 10K
The text of our entries from 1966 and 1968 are really good - check them out.
Regarding the line from our entry in 1973: that line you liked is pretty much a direct translation from the Swedish original. It makes no more sense there either.
We really did find our niche somewhat in the 1980's.
Christer Björkmans song was written by Niklas Strömstedt a well-known singer/songwriter and is really good.
Our entry in 2013 was just so-so for me at first listening but has since grown to become one of my favourite entries this century from my homeland.
My favourites were:
From the 50's - 1959 - Augustin.
I love your videos with every entry of every country!
I like how he talks about Loren “The winner, before the show even started” etc while we Swedes made fun of her when it aired 😂
Also for your information:
Björn Skifs is the one who made Hooked on a Feeling. Really iconic song around the world, so big that it had a BIG ROLE in Guardians of the Galaxy.
That version of Hooked on a Feeling by Björn's band is a cover.
Very nice, I agree with most of your thoughts. Love from Sweden!
Fun fact: Alice Babs (1958 entry) does the swedish voice of Cinderella in the Disney movie! :D (And of course Måns Zelmerlöw does the voice of Flynn Rider).
Great video can't wait for the next one
A lot of the Swedish entries from the 2000's definitely did not age well.
jlhabitan50 lol I know but there still my childhood so I still love them
from 79 was the best
lmao saaamee gah especially Eric Saade the 6 y/o me was so sold xD
Oh then why have sweden won so many Times thes last years
Valnöten I said their entries from the 2000's.
Thanks for reacting.
"Främling" album is still the best selling album in history in Sweden
I think i love this -ESCunited 2018
Hej hej Monika!
Hej på dig Monika
@ESCunited When Spirits Are Calling My Name from year 2000. I understand if you dont get it, but it is like It Hurts. It is much better in Swedish and people here is still listening to it.And probably you know it but if you dont. Charlotte Perelli who sang "Hero" 2008 is the same artist that won 1999 with "Take Me To Your Heaven" Just with another last name.
Oh, and after It hurts/Det gör ont, the hot topic was her mic stand. People wanted to be her mic stand.
Björn Skifs was the lead singer of Blue Swede, the band that had a big hit in America with their "Ooga-chaka, ooga-chaka"-enhanced cover of "Hooked on a Feeling"
Alice Babs was the Swedish voice of Cinderella in the Disney movie.
Tommy Körberg is a national treasure, thank you for recognising his greatness. When he sang Stad i ljus he was actually horribly ill and in pain. Best song in all of Eurovision in my opinion.
1979 was swedens best song in Eurovision and all swedes over 21 will agree with me.
So many memories!! In the early 2000s my dad would buy me the melodifestivalen album of every year from when I was like 5 til 10 and I would play it on my pink sparkly cd player and jam to it, it was a look for sure, still know all of the early 00 entries by heart
OMG, had'nt noticed before! G:son is one of the background singers in 1989!! O.O
CharlySE It’s not Gson. It’s Tommy Ekman of the band Style. All the background singers of 1989 are famous swedish performers.
garbokatten ooooh! Okay
They look so alike!! 😰🤣
Yes, you’re right. They look very much alike.
Wow I never knew so many famous Swedes competed in Eurovision in the first few decades. I was so surprised how many names I recognized even from the first decade.
I love Sweden. They bring original stagings.
My favourites entries are:
1969: WoW, It's really beautiful
1974: One of my favourites of ABBA
1996: Interesting. I think this is my winner that year.
2000: I like it. In my top 5
2001: I love it. It makes me happy. My 4th place that year
2009: So wonderful. In my top 10
2010: Cute and peaceful
2011: Great rythm. In my top 3
2012: My winner
2015: My runner-up
2017: The dance is great
But 2014 and 2016 were also good
I can't wait to see your next video :). I would like to hear your opinions about Spain's entries or Yugoslavia's entries
The 1968 one is such a bop lmao I had no idea it was in Melodifestivalen, but everytime me and my friends are having a home party we put this on and everyone go absolutely bonkers xd
Also when Lena PH came on I thought to myself "omg this sounds so much better in Swedish" and the second after you pointed that out too
Glad I'm not the only one who can't stand Popular. One of my least favourite entries.
Constantino he had a better song the year before in melodifestivalen, so he had gathered support from a big audience at that point.
Nobody can stand it, the 8 year old girls with cellphones got too much power that year.
I live in sweden and one day randomly i went to a store and i saw Tommy Körberg buying stuff.
If you dident know hes like very famous in sweden.
React to San Marino next!
Tomas Ledin (1980) was also a backup singer for Abba on their live performance at Wembley in 1979. I saw him live last year. :)
Sverige 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪
The backup vocalists to En dag, where all high profile singers of their own in Sweden at the time ;)
My favourites: 1977, 1981, 1984, 1992, 2007
Love 1965 too
And you have to love that absolute coolness of 1973
Love your positivity 😍
Christer Björkman..... Sounds familiar... Oh. Its bc he's the owner of melodifestivalen right now lol
And basically the Eurovision aswell
13:29 No, the UK were favourites in Malmö in 1992. There were even signs there saying Welcome United Kingdom.
Lill-Babs.. R.I.P.
Greay reaction :) / love from Sweden :)
Siw Malmkvist sang in many languages but she is swedish.
As a Swede.. these songs are like most of the songs you heard growing up. Often on the radio still back in the 90's and 00's
The swedish entry from 2000 is so much better in Swedish, than it was in English. The swedish lyrics are very powerful, and they along with the folk sound completely stole my heart. ❤
Jill Johnson now has a Country tv-show, worth checking it out, she's almost the only one promoting Country in Sweden.
(ruclips.net/video/3YvR9a5RnAM/видео.html)
Also Satelit (Ted Gärdestad) should have been much higher imo.
Euphoriaaaaaaa.....❤
20:36 In Sweden after that song, it was impossible avoiding hearing it, it was played LITERALLY EVERYWHERE.
The song from 2000 is much better i swedish
True
I am from Sweden and I love your video ( jag älska din video) 🇸🇪
