I just fixed the airbag light on mine - had the airbag sensor assembly code thats unclearable. Bought a computer on ebay with codes for 200 bones, worked great (had two codes since the donor truck had a bad clock spring I suspect). Scanner that can do SRS modules is a must.
My 2002 has had the airbag light on for several years. I hope to see you diagnose and repair these two trucks. Any suggestions for a code reader that will tell me SRS and ABS codes? I don't think my OBDLink MX+ does.
My cruise would not work unless I cranked the wheel all the way to one side. Put a cheap spring in today and it works okay. Now to see how long it will last.
Do you have a recommendation for an OBD2 scanner for home use that is able to clear codes as well and doesn't break the bank? I've got an airbag light in my 2002 Tundra I need to figure out.
I know you said the tan non lifted taco mileage, but I don't remember if you said the white one. So for anyone asking, it is 254k two owner manufactured in Fremont. V6 3.4 AWD. Extra cab, SB.
I've had my SRS light on 2002 for 5 years. I checked connections and yellow wiring but found nothing. B0138 is the code. Where can we bring our gen 1's to have you look at them? Thank you!
My 2002 Black SR 5 4x4 stick with 56 K has ( BO 106-open p squib ) plus(- BO 108 short P Squib circuit) Plus B1100 (Airbag Sensor Assemby)!! ANY HELP OUT THERE PLEASE) ? 5 years now! Is there a ground wire I might look for???? Thank You !
I had damaged clock spring (when I did steering rack) on 05 tundra. horn not working and airbag light on. replaced clock spring. does the airbag light go off automatically or do i need to have it reset? horn works now.
Peter doesn't that truck have a "clutch start cancel" switch to the left of the steering wheel? you must be quite strong to start it with your hand ☠ . Nice work my friend.
TY,,,,,,WOW incredible very interesting super kool ,1st class great info.,, AAAAAAAAAAA+++++++++++ again great video I liked it a lot ,keep up the great work.
#375... Petr, WHY did you not use the clutch-start-cancel button at 5.10 mark to start this white rig ??? why you reach down to press clutch into start when the button is right there on the left... or is that not working proper ?

Petr, You have to do your part to keep these genuine, made-in-California Tacomas on the road for another 20 years. 😁
Peter lovely video would like to see the repairs of either or both cars if you get the RO. Thank you as always
Awesome. I love his videos!

🙋♂️ Two Tacomas with check engine and airbag on. One with expensive computer $850; not so bad. The other needs a spiral cable, under the steering.
Just went through a similar thing on my 99, computer was bad replaced with one off a part out truck $60 on ebay works great!
2007 Toyota Tacoma and my ABS light is on. I changed my clock spring in my steering wheel but it is still on. Any ideas?
I give it a thumb up
