I believe that this is true for the most part; but I have successfully remained close friends with one of my ex's of 4.5years. But what made it work was that the break-up was mutual, and we took 1.5yrs completely away from each other, no contact whatsoever. And we didn't even plan to be friends, but we ended up reconnecting. Oh man I’m so glad to see Steve’s reaction on this. Absolutely all the women who chase me end up putting me in this exact friend zone crap. My theory, women today do not know what they want so in fear of being alone the keep absolutely every option open so that they can choose the best one when it becomes too lonely for them…
One thing about exs ... is that when one is lonely they tend to be comfort blanket .... especially when you have a tough breakup with the current boyfriend ... she will end calling and he will there to comfort her ...so girl ....just enjoy your young life apse happy

Them young cats...smh. Even at that young age I never stayed friends with my exes, cause I knew it's not a good thing. You can be civil and polite if you run into each other in public or if you go to the same school or whatever. But don't keep in touch and talk on a regular. It will only create problems for the next relationship. I've never gotten back together or wanted to get back together with any of my exes.
This is it. This is the reply! You can be just decent and polite if you bump into one another, but not friends, as in checking up on them/communicating regularly (let alone occasionally).

@@EmilyGloeggler7984 you are naive to believe that. Don't go crying if you find out they are smashing each other. Anyway, the exception doesn't make the rule though.
I’ve never understood being friends with an ex, that’s because none of my ex’s are my friends. What it comes down to is this person has seen you in a way, in a territory that is out side of the friendship zone - emotionally, romantically and sexually. I’m the type once a relationship dies and breaks up… I wish you well, I wish you the best but you will never hear from me again. Why do I never get in contact with them: I’m getting on with my life, working on me, & making me happy. Plus, I agree the comments about ex’s blocking potential boy/girlfriends - that’s why they’re doing it, to get another chance should other options not pan out. Anyone that’s has any shred of self respect would walk away - big red flag. All I can say if anyone of my future potential boyfriends wouldn’t cut off his ex(s) for good, I’d be gone so fast 💨. You have to ask, they were romantically/emotionally/sexually involved with each other, they broke up… why is he keeping someone around, he was so involved with. Sus motives to me. Facts: an ex is an ex for a reason. Unless you have a child with an ex, there’s no reason to keep them in your life. Even if you have a child together, you can be polite and civil and wish them well from afar as well as getting on with co-parenting and getting on with your life.
I hope they had dinner after and he told her how he feels. Nothing is worse than wanting to be more than friends with someone and watching the girl you love hang out with other guys and stuff

Am not gonna date someone that can't handle that caz i can't deal with excessive jealousy in my life
Itz about trust
N i haven't done anything to not deserve it
My bf can't tell me who and who not to talk to n i wouldn't try to rule his life like that either
@@ddh19454 is this real life? 😂
Bingo! Hell at times i dont even want to be no nothing with kids mom.
This girl scares the heck out of me. She keeps putting those words "ex" and "future boyfriend" in plural. What is going on here ?
Wow !
Spot on.
Show off how immature she is. She needs some help in that regard.
I won’t be surprised if i find out she’s on onlyfans under the name of exploring the world.
He's standing there and blocking...
AS WE SPEAK
he trying to get that cat
Who's he blocking? He ain't blocking nothing. She will leave him at the drop of a hat if she meets a man that she likes but he says he doesn't date women with male friends/stays in contact with her exes.
@@geremymason5936 lmfao
First off where’d she get that sweater? It was sooo cute. Secondly AJ looked like he was gonna piss his pants when Steve put him in the spot! 😂
She said boyfriend(S) damn she has no goals
Not at all
She gonna be a dating website lmao
She's young bless her
She's 18, give her a break. When I was 18 I just wanted to play the field too. She'll get past it
That's how cheating begins..not making up ur mind of who u wanna be with just jumping into relationships after relationships
@@Noix009 what's wrong with dating websites?
I’m about to be 30 in March. I’m dating a 24 year old guy right now. He tried telling me his “ex” is just his friend that’s why they stay in contact, then follows it up with “her dad wants me to work for his business one day.” I’m about 6 years older than him so this isn’t new news to me. The dad thing is just icing on the cake for me🤷🏻♀️ I have to walk away now out of self respect👍
How’d it all go?
No offense but your too old too be talking to him in the first place….at 30 u should be getting married and having babies asap at 24 he should be playing the field and date as much as possible different women y’all are at different stages in life
@@aprylwalk6887 😂 that’s funny lol my other ex is 24 and his new gf is 37 years old w 3 kids. I’m 32. What’s your excuse for them?
She says he just a friend, she's say he's just a friend, oh baby yooouuu, you got what i need.
🤣💀
If I was a guy wanting to date a girl and found out she was talking to her exes, I'd just dismiss her. lol
Fr
They are still young, I feel you Steve .lol 😂God bless them , just have fun , no commitments guys fly , enjoy your youth . Much Love.
You can stay friends with ex’s I think if you’re single, but once you get into another relationship, that needs to stop.

Remember, they're in their growing years. Learning and experience. Also, don't leave out puppy love. We all been throught it. Years, will bring about some changes.
LMAOO his face when she said” I hope so I’m hungry “
Your EX is called your EX for a reason and the thing is I don't want to be friends with anyone I loved
Her bringing her ex and him coming was pretty ballsy lol
Blind led a blind. I would never go with my ex even to heaven.
3:06 that look on his face tells all that he got no money for food later.😂😂😂
Hahahahaha... that's what came in my mind..
3:07 man his face just cracks me every time i watch this clip . This never gets old , his hope man 😂
Staying friends with your ex like walking with sugar cane whenever you feel thirsty you just gonna take a piece and chew it😂😂
the witch laugh in the background was hilarious.
I love Steve's facial expressions! They are priceless!
If Steve had said it's okay, I would have gone and get friends with all my exes which I never would want. Thank god, thank Steve!! ❤️
Aww he’s so cute lol and he’s just there like “why I’m I here” 😂😂
OMG this is AMAZING! I just broke up with someone because she was friends AND did a podcast with an ex! She said it was "normal" and I was just controlling and jealous. Realizing now that it is NOT normal and it's okay to not be okay with it.
I love your approach. Thank you.
The funniest hey Steve I have seen so far, man I love this guy he interprits guys mind correctly. damn right the buys is hanging around for the goods as soon as he gets the chance he gonna taste them.
Lool when she said she brought one of her exes Steve was like you dun lost yo mind😂
I love when he talks like a caring Father
The laughter from the audience 😂😂
Steve: sweetheart what's your name?
Girl: Evangeline
Steve: Evangelina
Boy: my name is A.J.
Steve: R.J.
Me: 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 this is everybody elders in their family! Lol and you better not correct them! 😂😂😂😂😂
Its the Southern accent...He said their names correctly 😂😂😂
I’d correct the hell outta them and start callin them the wrong names and move on 😂😂😂
"i don't know even what u taking about...." man u got me, 🤣🤣🤣
IM SO STRESSED OUT FOR HIM OH MY GODDDDDDDDD
😂😂😂😂😂😂
AJ face is a mood 😂😩😂
The boy’s face had me hollering 😩🤣
Evangeline: _I'm so hungry_
AJ: _and I'm so thirsty_
0:11 he's face says it all "steve help me"
Lololol...I'm in tears!!! This right here is straight up comical! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ivaylo Iontchev Yea I don’t understand this generation it baffles me so much
This is it. This is the reply!
You can be just decent and polite if you bump into one another, but not friends, as in checking up on them/communicating regularly (let alone occasionally).
My husband is platonic friends with his now married to another man ex and she is not interested in him and he is not interested in her anymore. We still visit each other and his ex has been extremely kind towards us - in fact, when we got married this year, we were invited to their July 4th party and we had a fun time. It is sad many people think you can't be platonic friends with an ex. Of course you can. Praise the Lord for the reminder - "Try to live peacefully with everyone, and treat your neighbor/friends as you would yourself". As for my ex boyfriend, whom I broke up with - if I ran into him in future, I would be kind to him and if he still respected the fact that my husband is my one and only and I will never return to the ex and he has no interest getting back together with me, then I see no reason being kind neighbors and friends with the ex and his wife. ^_^ Otherwise, my first and only husband is all I want for the rest of my life. I don't need to be around the block more than once. ^_^
@@EmilyGloeggler7984 you are naive to believe that. Don't go crying if you find out they are smashing each other. Anyway, the exception doesn't make the rule though.
The look on Steve's face when she said I brought one if my ex's with me was priceless LMAO
There's no sense in this situation 😂
AJ better run
@iamsaphirre 😂 😂, I'm going to subscribe to your RUclips channel 🔥
Emkayel she totally confused me
I’ve never understood being friends with an ex, that’s because none of my ex’s are my friends.
I’m glad to know I’m not alone on that thought
💯 facts
I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who thinks this way! Spot on! I couldn’t have said it better myself
'Is this real life '😂😂 u aint ever havin a real relationship if u keep yo exs 😂
I hope they had dinner after and he told her how he feels. Nothing is worse than wanting to be more than friends with someone and watching the girl you love hang out with other guys and stuff
The only ex's I speak to are the father of my son's. One is now a adult, so we don't have to talk as much. Friday my youngest will be 16. And he an I speak an are friends for the sake of our son. Out side of that, I don't speak to none of them.
@ZA18 - I guess I will deal with my curse. I don't belive in abortion. And when birth control fails. All u can do is deal with it. So I will gladly deal with any curse I'm given . All high an mighty.
Slaughters them and proecceds to say i hope i didn't say anything to hurt you 😅 lol
Lmao Steve is the real MVP the look on his face 🤣🤣🤣
Did she say future boyfriends ?
Wow she ain't hoping to meet a happily ever after?
if a guy does that he's considered a player
She’s 18. At 18 do you think you’re just gonna date one person for the rest of your life. She’s smart enough to know the chances are she’ll date more than one guy in the future.
Temi David well she’s just 18 🤣 let the girl explore
The boy still love her
‘...He’s blocking as we speak...’ 🤗👀
I ALWAYS love Steve's "lost" reaction!
A man always hopes, so don't think for 1 second he still your friend. he waits for that moment to jump in, trust me !
Love Steve .... Cool as a fan with no gat in hand , just words of encouragement.
He gave steve the look like don't out me bruh lol
That one woman wheezing in the background, I love it.
Steve his reactions to this segments are hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lolol that little boy so cute he looks so scared lololol bless them
