Here are eight keys to advance your leadership skills and career as a media professional - and get your pastor excited about media!
1. Take ownership of your work and your attitude. Have skin in the game. Be an example to your pastor and leadership of what’s possible with a project.
2. Build strong relationships with your team. Take the time to get to know those you work with.
3. Become proactive and solution-oriented. Don’t just complain about problems; bring solutions to the table. You’ll be amazed at how this will accelerate your career.
4. Lead by example. The best way to lead from the middle is to become an example for others.
5. Get past the budget battle. Learn how to work within the budget limitations of your organization with ingenuity and talent.
