I like it, I think I'm going to buy it. I read that it was for women, but I see that it doesn't look bad on men, especially in cases like mine that have a thin wrist. I like it like this with a white background and black hands, only I would prefer the one with indices on the dial, instead of having numbers.
I grew up in a third world country where any watch is considered a luxury. My parents saved and bought me this Casio for my 10th birthday and to this day it’s one of the proudest moments of my life.
Casio is the brand that everybody has his own memory about it when he was young. People didn't spend their childhood with Rolex or Omega, but they spent their childhood with Casio. The time that is the most precious in their life
In 1988, my Parents bought me this model for Christmas. I had just started high school. I used it for a few years and just loved it. When the battery inevitably went out, I asked my Dad to replace it. He took a look at the back and told me that the battery wasn't meant to be replaced. I was crushed.... but I saved it anyway. Three decades later I watched YT and discovered you can replace the battery -- you just pop off the back and that's all there is to it. I found the watch, replaced the battery, and it immediately worked. My son borrowed it, and I got myself a new one. The MQ line is so simple, so great. I have $5000 watches but for day to day, nothing beats this effortless Casio.
You’ve become my favorite watch reviewer simply for the fact that you do wrist shots from further away, like how other people would see you wearing the watch. Putting the watch right in front of the camera doesn’t really do justice to how it looks in the real world on the wrist.
I LOVE the look and feel of this watch, but the strap falls apart eventually, similar to the other cheap Casios I've had. Would love a "premium" version of these watches with higher quality materials, metal, leather, mineral glass etc because visually it's one of my favourite watches
@@ilikespacedinosaurs I don’t know what you’re doing to your Casio to rip the band. I’ve had one on my wrist every day as a mechanic getting banged around and tugged and it’s still working just fine.
@@markm0000 nothing, it just fell apart on my wrist while I was sitting down in my car. Maybe we live in places with different temperatures or humidity or maybe i sweat more, or maybe some kind of sunscreen or mosquito repellent or something rubbed off on it. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary, it's just a very cheap strap
I guess it's the same kind of love as James May loves his Dacia. The watch is simple, practical, reliable, unobtrusive and it costs almost nothing, so you don't need to worry about damaging it. Btw, I miss the times when such case diameters were perfectly normal for a men's watch. I just hate modern behemoths with 40+ mm.
I love the honesty and transparency of your reviews. I love the fact that you feature watches that other reviewers wouldn't even consider. Please keep your channel like this, so down to earth!
I have great watch collections some are pretty expensive but t this is my favourite ❤️ one the best part of it is you don’t even realise you are wearing it and people ask you about this watch wherever you go
I love this watch, it never leaves my wrist. I wear this every time I'm not wearing others, I wear this running, to the gym, in bed. Every time I come home, I always slip this one on if I was wearing another piece that day. It's so light and comfortable and practical to a fault, the crisp, clean dial just telegraphs the time to the eyes, it's even easier than reading a digital watch. The best part about this watch is its value, the low price point doesn't mean it's cheaply made, you get what you pay for and then some of that Casio quality. It's the best watch-to-price value out there in the market. You get so much watch for so little and it is very wearable, you can dress it up for office wear and dress it down for casual events. If you don't have this in your rotation, I strongly recommend this one, I recommend this more than the F91, its just more practical and utilitarian and the strap is better and more supple. Get this watch.
Hello bro! I'm watching for this model, and is soo sweet and cheap and beauty, but I'm thinking for the white one, what do you suggest me about the colour and the model, can I wear everywhere maybe for a night and the other side in sport style!?
This was my only watch for so many years when I was a teenager (so many years ago) A masterpiece. Even the Pope has one. And now they have released new color variants
What sold me on it was actually the band, which I had planned to use for another watch. I have some of what I consider to be very nice watches, some a little expensive and some cheep. There is something to be said for the effective simplicity and ease of use for this watch that I find, somewhat surprisingly appealing. Cheers.
I got one today and it's one of the most comfortable watches ever. Its something you just have to try and once have it so easy to fall in love with it. I like that its easy to read and is so light.
Before I saw this video, I ordered this watch because I have small wrists, and know the comfort of the cheap, light, thin Casio watches from past experience. I'm glad you like it. My usual watch is a Casio Tough Solar but it is thick and wide, and the first thing I do when I get home is take it off. My first digital watch was a Texas Instruments in 1976, the first under $20 digital. But I think this watch will be nice not only because it is small and lightweight, but the dial looks like the easiest to read that I've ever owned, and that's important at my age. There's a beauty in its stark black/white simplicity that I liked upon first seeing a photo of it, and it's certainly not jewelry.
I have one of these which I keep exclusively for use on holiday; getting sun oil, sweat, sand on it, swimming, subjecting to extreme heat. It's not let me down yet. Not sure if Casio want you to replace the battery though, as it's quite fiddly for such a simple watch.
i used a very similar watch in the army in 1996-97! it was Q&Q but otherwise very similar, very robust types of watches. i think this casio has better rubber strap than Q&Q.
I used to own 1 of these and agree it was very comfy to wear and light weight. Only negative for me was the loud ticking noise and I think its 3 bars water resist only. Otherwise you can't go wrong - super value from Casio again.
I have mq 24 Casio watch white dial and it's super comfortable light weight and easy to handle watch. ..accuracy is excellent ... Actually I am planing to buy few more of these watches to make a collection ...
