Excellent review Thomas. This watch seems like a very good homage of VC 1021. All class. It looks great with all different styles of straps & the darker brown distressed strap, really went well. Top stuff.

That's a beautiful watch, thanks for showing the straps 👍. If I didn't own the Baltany, I'd probably choose the Militado, because it is smaller and cheaper yet looks pretty decent. If they released one with a straight dial, I would buy one immediately.

This is a copy of the Vacheron Historiques American 1921. I love the look but can't afford one. This is affordable but I'd feel like an imposter wearing it. Just can't do it. I prefer to wear affordable watches with original designs.

Thx for the review. I love the size, compared to the Baltany, but I prefer the silver Baltany dial. Also, the Militado font is not nice, I'd prefer a Militado logo (if any exists) or no name at all. I do love the 1921.

Its a really pretty watch, but I've been eyeing the Baltany S4046, and they're so similar that I've got no idea which one to choose. Any advice?

Great video Tomas. With your recommendation I did buy 2 of those tropical straps last year and the are excellent. I bought 6 more in different colours recently. But I do have the problem that most AE straps are to short for my 7 3/4 inch wrist.

About the sharp edged, this was a good tip. I took a Victorinox ceramic sharpening rod and knocked the sharp edges of the clasp and it's been a totally different experience. I'm so glad I stumbled upon your video.

watching james on youtube has a review of a very good canvas military strap, you could give that one a try maybe if you like that style..

Great content Tomas! I would say straps, from 13 onwards are great. Oh, and don't puncture an extra hole. From your videos, you are wearing your watches too tight. Let the watch breathe a be loose like you don't care. That 13th strap we call Antelope... that fine fine brushed finish.

No FKM straps???? FKM straps are DEFINITELY my favourite, so soft and supple and supremely comfortable.

Tomas - I have a solution for you - my wrist is also 16.5cm, and I hate watch straps with the second keeper fixed in place. To fix this problem - I bought a 5-pack of stainless steel keepers from AliX for less than 3 euros. Of course, you have to buy to the correct width, but I put a 'third keeper' on my watch strap and it holds the excess strap in place. I hope it helps you.

This is meant primarily for practical everyday usage. The big size suits me - in my 50s, my eyesight now hates to read overtly miniature texts/numerals. And if you wore any of the huge GShock watches - you actually get used to the size and realizes it doesn't look big at all. Because of that, I, who once wore smaller dress watches as my daily beater, whenever I wear my dress watches, feels awkward and self conscious, thinking how small the watch looks now on my wrist.

3:30 I don't like clasp either because feeling uncomfortable when unlock it.🤨 I like pushes clasp more. But this is Rolex type clasp that's many homage brands will use it. 😅😅

If I want a positive display, I'll get one of the cheaper Casio models, like the A159W. If I'm going for something like a G-Shock, I want it to look the part. A resin watch with a positive display always looks cheap to me, while a negative display somehow elevates its appearance. However, everyone is different. That’s the key point a lot of people who champion positive displays seem to be missing-this is subjective, and those are simply your opinions, nothing more.

Why are you reviewing a cheapo knock off watch like a fine luxury chronograph? One shouldn’t expect perfection at this price point. To me, it’s remarkable how good these watches are given their price point.

Thomas, that grey dial Pagani Design sub looks very nice. The logo on the dial looks different from your standard Pagami logo. Grey dials make any watch look more expensive for some reason. I have a grey Pagani Seamaster homage, and somehow looks more expensive. How is the bezel on that grey dial Pagani sub? Is it tight, or loose??

I own the Spechts and Sohne versions of this watch, and it blows the Tissot PRX at its own game… the bracelet has smoother edges, the lume is better than the PRX, the Spechts has a screw down crown, while the PRX does not, the Spechts has a solid screw down case back, while the Tissot PRX does not, sapphire crystal on both. Spechts has a very dependable and reliable Miyota 2115 just like the Casio Duros, and hits every market perfectly… the Tissot has an eta Quartz and misses indices. $60 for the Spechts, $300 to $350 for Tissot… this is a no brainer, the Spechts is the better of the two.

Tandorio are part of the Bliger watch group, and Parnis is also part of the group. They make outstanding watches for the price

The smooth casebacks is what I love about Cadisen… no sharp engraved emblems like most other manufacturers like Steeldive, Addiesdive, and so on. You seem to be getting a batch of bad bezels with your Cadisens because mine are always nice and solid. This sometimes happens with these Chinese manufacturers because I have two Steeldive SD1953 subs, and one has a very solid bezel, and the other one has a somewhat loose bezel. The lume on some Cadisen watches are great, but also die off pretty quick, while other Cadisen watches just have horrible lume. Throw a bond strap with the red, black, and green stripes… they look best on these white dials, and mesh straps for steel. Great review!

I have the exact same watch, but my bezel doesn’t spin easily like yours because my bezel feels solid, with great positive clicks. Mine came with the steel bracelet and rubber strap. The only downside that I experienced was that the diver’s expansion pin was too thin, and could not get the extension clasp to close. I solved the issue with a thicker spring. Currently wearing it on a bond nato, and looks amazing! Great review!

This is a common problem with ALL casios, the holes in their straps are too far apart, it either chokes you or is too loose. WHY havent they done something about this still ????
