    Excellent review - thank you! Great detail on 2 important features: lumbar support and headrest. SO MANY other YT vid reviews just skirt over the detail in a worthless fashion but your vid here gave me all the answers on these 2 features I'd been searching for after many days. Thank you so much for the info and a very well presented review. Cheers from Sydney Australia.

    3:08 Actually, the backrest height adjustment mechanism on the ErgoTune Supreme V3 is not exactly the same as the older models. ErgoTune added a sound indicator that warns u that the next click up will reset the backrest height. A2K mentioned this minor feature in his review of the ErgoTune Supreme V3: ruclips.net/video/0vtHZYI_PXA/видео.html

    • @sdale1sg
      @sdale1sg 2 года назад

      actually, just remember how many clicks before it reset will solve the problem.

    • @dylanloo9856
      @dylanloo9856 2 года назад

      @@sdale1sg Nah u gotta be real careful and slow when lifting up the backrest to count the clicks coz sometimes they get a lil stuck and it is very easy to pull it up too quick that u miss the number of clicks to count.

      @@sdale1sg Yea, I own an ErgoTune Supreme V2 and that's how I experience the backrest to operate. I'm guessing it will feel the same way with the V3. Moreoever, it is not often that people will adjust the backrest height (at least for me), so when going back to adjust the backrest height after a long time, it is easy to forget the number of clicks until it reaches the top. This will never be an issue for me as I will never ever have to adjust the backrest to its maximum height even though I'm on the taller side at 6 foot (183cm).

    • @sdale1sg
      @sdale1sg 2 года назад

      for aggressive lumbar support, when you recline to the max, you may need to lower the lumbar out of the way. In this way your spine will be more relax. try it

      The Hinomi H1 Pro has a larger and wider headrest, but it makes more squeaky sounds when adjusting up and down. The Hinomi’s arm height adjustments are also way harder than the Ergotune’s button on the side of the arms. The mesh material on the Hinomi also seems almost identical to the Ergotune's one. But the Ergotune definitely has more adjustable and comfortable armrests than the Hinomi's which is just a harder plastic pad instead of rubberised arms. I would say the Hinomi H1 Pro is better if you like having a footrest option (although the footrest padding is leather which eventually peels after a while compared to full mesh) and if you need to have the option to fold your chair into your desk. I went with the Ergotune V3 instead of the Hinomi H1 Pro because of the lumbar adjustments, the headrest and the adjustable arms and didn't need the added footrest.

      @@ahuman8711 Lol I think u better educate ur dad about the world of office chairs. $400 (or maybe even $300) to $700 is a good starting point for decent office chairs. $1,000+ will look at the top brands like Herman Miller, Steelcase, Hayworth, etc. But the main thing to look out for is the warranty offered for these chairs. If the warranty makes up for the price of the chair, then it's definitely worth it. Say if u were to buy a $100 chair that has a 1-year warranty (even I think a 1-year warranty is pretty generous for a $100 chair), compared to a $1000+ chair that has a 12-year warranty, you're gonna be buying the same chair again and again over the lifetime of a single good office chair that will last u over 12 years. Plus, it's also better for the environment (less waste). Also, high-end office chairs from reputable brands (HM, Steelcase, Hayworth, etc.) will pretty easily last way longer than the 12-year warranty that they have. I've seen chairs from HM and Steelcase lasting upwards of 30 years! Now that is an excellent value if I do say so myself. So, it may seem expensive now, but keep in mind that buying a good office chair is an investment, not an expense (investment for your back/health). It helps reduce/prevent back problems when u grow older. And I doubt that a $100 chair will be good for your back, so u might as well save that money and spend it elsewhere.

      @@ahuman8711 Lol rip. If ur dad rly understood what I said, it will make complete sense. Just think, would u rather spend like $600 now for a good office chair that will take care of your back for years to come, or have back problems in the future coz of cheap shitty office chairs that you've been using, then having to pay possibly more money to see a chiropractor to treat your back problems? I'd say anything to do with health makes spending money worth it. Plus, if u spend like $600 for a good ergonomic chair that has a 12-year warranty, that comes out to a cost of only $50 a year!!! Heck, u probably spend way more money on ur home internet plan or mobile plan in a year than that! Only $50 a year to take good care of your back. Cmon man, u can't say that's a bad deal, right?

    Trust me guys, the mesh is too stiff and that lumbar “support” will hurt your back. Bought this chair without trying and I deeply regretted because it actually made my back even more strained. Believe me, I wanted to love this chair, because of its cooling mesh design and its looks, thinking that I finally found a chair I can sit on for hours, but comfort was a huge disappointment for this chair.

    • @dylanloo9856
      @dylanloo9856 Год назад

      @@amou95 Keep in mind that finding the right chair also depends on personal preference, sitting habits, and body type. This chair definitely has a very pronounced lumbar support and even though it is adjustable, some people still find it too pronounced even at its lowest setting. The intensity of the lumbar support is mostly based on personal preference as some ppl prefer a little bit of lumbar support whilst others prefer more pronounced lumbar support.
      Mesh definitely offers a stiffer sitting experience compared to your typical cushion/upholstered chair. This is just the nature of mesh as even the best mesh chair in the office chair market, the Herman Miller Aeron, can still be uncomfortable for some ppl. Mesh is notorious for not being good at spreading your body weight out evenly which can create focused pressure points and a numbing feeling on your butt after long sitting sessions. This was definitely an issue for me when I first got my ErgoTune Supreme V2 as well, but after a few months of sitting in it, my body got used to it and it's not much of an issue for me anymore. Just keep in mind to get out of your chair and stretch at regular intervals to get your blood flowing as no chair in the world is designed for u to sit in it forever.
      With that being said, that's why it's important to try out the chair before purchasing or at least with ErgoTune, they offer a 21-day return policy which is nice. Not everyone will like the ErgoTune Supreme even if it has a lot of adjustment points to "suit all body types".
