Generally the quality of the shot starts to degrade beyond about 7 or 8 seconds of hold at full draw regardless of ability to hold the weight, largely due to attention issues
I was able to snag one a few months ago early for my youngest boy. Took it to work and machined in the Picatinny and integrated mounts. Had GAS make up strings for it and he absolutely hated the bow..lol. We ended up getting him a new Darton V Raptor and we head out for fall Brown's in Alaska soon.
I’m back and forth which bow to use for hunting this year. I have a Bear inception and a Mathews v3x 33. Brought the Bear myself and no kills with it yet and my dad brought the Mathews for my birthday. The bear seems to hit harder but the Mathews holds a lot steadier. I want to get a deer with my bear but feel like I’d be doing the deer a disservice for a bad shot
A tip: the LCA drawboard does not draw your bow open level, and tips the top of the bow backwards (the bottom forwards), and throws off the cam timing. So if you time your cams to this drawboard, they will be out of time when you draw it. You have to push the bottom of the bow backwards until the bow is vertically level and then checking the drawstops then. Ideally, the bow grip should be 2" below the crank for a near-perfect drawback of the bow.
Must be in Florida I heard that lightning good info I had some Bear bows in my earlier years the last one I had put a bad taste in my mouth but they sure look like they might be getting there $hit together here in the past few years I may have to look into another if for nothing else a backup bow.
We missed you Allie🥰Thanks for the video and taking the time to explain all this. If you would have just jumped right into it I wouldn't have know what all of settings and measurements mean🙂
Very precise and informative video ! You’ve come such a long way since I watched you making arrows at your coffee table and drinking beer ( a few years back .)
I've been watching your shows all afternoon at my house. I've been working a lot. So I decide to just sit around at home and watching shows. I saw the episode where you are so happy when Nick hunts with you. I wish my wife hunt with me. But she doesn't want to go out there to Rock springs Texas. Because we only have a outhouse. But we have a cabin. A nice area where we hunt. Anyway, I'm going swimming now. May you and Nick take care of yourself. Thank you for your shows.
I’ve shot bear bows since I started hunting. The escalate is hands down my favorite one of all the ones I’ve owned. You get flagship quality without flagship price you won’t regret getting it .
gotta say Bear has me very intrigued after their lineup this year. Got a Divergent EKO just to play with and expand my knowledge. Never stop learning, cool seeing you do you!
I love your channel Allie. Im now actually a full time bow technician after working part time for around a year and seeing you grow as your own bow tech helped stay determined when i questioned whether or not I wanted to quit my job and go full time as a technician. So thank you for that, I owe you alot!
Such a great series. Do you think some time you could go over how you set up your archery work station, what equipment you chose and why? Keep the content coming!
Good to see a young woman with a healthy hobby
Wow I’m 5 11 and my draw is 28
👍
Cool
Hey alie your doing ten times better from where you stater at
Thanks Mike!
good afternoon allie congratulations 👏👏👏 for another excellent video .....
Thanks for watching!

Now why would a state have a regulation on the poundage you hold back on your bow?
The shop is awsome !! I am slowing getting my bow shop put back together :)
So much fun!

Great video, looking forward to part 2. When will you be putting out the second part?

For sure!
You got some very nice items for the bow. It's good of you to help people with these videos. Keep it up 👍🏻 I can't wait for part 2
Thanks Ronnie!
@@OutdoorsAllie you're welcome & enjoy the rest of your week
Good afternoon from Syracuse NY everyone thank you for sharing your adventures in life and hunting
Good evening!
Hi my friends
Some states won't let you hunt with bows with more than 80% let-off.
Correct.
Dividing your wingspan by 2.45 will give you a more accurate measurement of your drawlength.
Thanks for the feedback!
Neat video Allie, look forward to the rest, isn’t deer season open in south Florida right now?
Yes, it is. Opening day is spread out across multiples zones in the state.
