    Best part was the tear Odin makes while in the Odinsleep when he sees his son sacrifice his own life just to save a small town of humans. Odin saw right then and there that Thor had changed and become a humble, kind, compassionate but most of all selfless and worthy of getting mjolnir and his Norse god powers back.

    To date this is my favorite Thor film because it humanized him. When he first had his power taken from him by Odin and was cast out he started becoming more humble. In this one scene you can tell that he was not the same arrogant, egotistical, pompous show-off as before.

      @@BWBDCanyou mean like how Thor's physique actually is in the Nordic mithology? Or do you think Thor was meant to be a muscular dude like Chris Hemsworth? That's something Marvel decided to come up with (not that I complain about it), but a fat Thor is nothing new (and it wasn't new when Endgame came out, either), or bad.

This scene to me was parallel to the classic "Journey Into Mystery" Thor stories when Odin stripped Thor of his power. And then Thor's power returns to him at the brink of death. I dislike every Avenger movie that was made. And I dislike most of Thor's movies. BUT.....this one, this one....? Reintroducing Thor to audiences who have never read the mythology, nor understand the significance of Thor's true power...this scene was immensely satisfying. To see Odin's son become again the mightiest of Norse Gods, it was emotional. This movie was just scratches the surface of Thor's ability and power. There's a reason he's the most powerful of them all (the Gods, not the Avengers). Odin was the most powerful being. Even Thor doesn't know the limit of his power. He could decimate an entire planet's defense in a short time. And Hemsworth is the embodiment of Thor.

    • @JSSTyger
      @JSSTyger 2 года назад +1

      This movie also has the best versions of Odin and Loki of the 3 Thor films. Odin arriving on the 8 legged horse was amazing and then the banishment scene was just pure power. Loki learning of his Jotun heritage was also a powerful scene.

    Figured out why he didn't go for the head in Infinity War. He was used to the "push the energy beam back to its source" thing winning him the fight. Thanos' energy beam came from around his torso, so Stormbreaker went into Thanos' torso instead of the head. (/s I know it was just screen writing, but it makes sense, right?)
