#Marvel #Thor #ChrisHemsworth - Развлечения
Best part was the tear Odin makes while in the Odinsleep when he sees his son sacrifice his own life just to save a small town of humans. Odin saw right then and there that Thor had changed and become a humble, kind, compassionate but most of all selfless and worthy of getting mjolnir and his Norse god powers back.
To date this is my favorite Thor film because it humanized him. When he first had his power taken from him by Odin and was cast out he started becoming more humble. In this one scene you can tell that he was not the same arrogant, egotistical, pompous show-off as before.
And still strong looking. Not like a Santa in training.
1:1 from the comics :)
@@BWBDCanyou mean like how Thor's physique actually is in the Nordic mithology? Or do you think Thor was meant to be a muscular dude like Chris Hemsworth? That's something Marvel decided to come up with (not that I complain about it), but a fat Thor is nothing new (and it wasn't new when Endgame came out, either), or bad.
Agree..The 1st two were very good. The last 2 with a new director were average/below average.
I think having Kenneth Branaugh as a director had something to do with it. Wish he would have stuck around for more marvel films.
Marvel really did a great casting... Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, RDJ as Iron-man, Chadwick Boseman for Black panther, Chris Evans for Captain America etc. They owned their respective roles...
Benedict Cumberbatch as Strange wud be hard to beat as well
You miss scarlett ...Natasha was damn good
Hulk
@@rottieshepcalibre9156 Nah im still unsure if this Bruce is the best one.
And tom holland as spider man. Loved him in that role.
This is what odin wanted! Thor wasn't being selfish anymore. He was willing to die to save lives
I know Jane is "the girl" of the story, but Sif´s smile when Thor regained his powers, my God!
Love sif she is Loki wife in Norse mythology
@@perfectlyfueled not Loki's wife
She's Thor's wife
Loki's wife was angrboda
She's Thor now and Mjolnir is also a wahmen. Go go M-SHE-U!!!!
I know, you can really feel her delight...Thor isn't just 'alive', he's BACK.
It's called a lady boner.
One of the very few Marvel movies which wasn't afraid to show how powerful Thor really is.
well besides that one time in ragnorak. and that other time in infinity war. and that one time in endgame too. hmmm have you only seen one marvel movie?
And that’s not even half as powerful as myth Thor!
This film actually showed the opposite… it showed him as arrogant and war hungry etc… that’s literally why he lost his peers on the first place… it’s only on later films he really truly learns who he is really capable of being… like when he loses his hammer to his sister and he thinks his power is gone.. then he finds it comes from him not his weapon….
@@shmoga I will give you Ragnarok (easily beat Surtur, stunned the Hulk and sent the monster crashing around the arena with one hit of the axe that he was trying to free from the wall, and was actually about to beat thr Hulk sans hammer), Infinity War (entered the fight in Wakanda to turn the tide of battle), and Age of Ultron as well (destroyed the flying city with one hit)....but the writers and director/s ruined Thor in Endgame!!!!
Besides, the OP said "one of the few movies", not the only movie. So he did acknowledge the other films in the MCU that showed Thor's power, but the others sure made him look weak (Dark World, Avengers, Endgame).
@@zachall101 Well, Myth Thor and Thor in this movie are both arrogant, war-hungry, and overall pretty awful guys.
Odin is really powerful even in his sleep he still sees everything marvel please give us a movie of Odin backstory and the powers he posses
I would definitely watch that
Agree. But, if Anthony Hopkins isn't playing Odin then it wouldn't be the same. And he is too old to be able to play him if it is a backstory plot.
@@brianrussell7369 i don’t think using another actor as young Odin would be a bad idea?
It would work if the new younger actor has a strong resemblance to Anthony Hopkins, plus they could get A.H.for voice overs in the most important parts.
Mcu underpowered him so much hopefully we see Odin force in love and thunder
This is my favorite scene in any Marvel movie. For me, the high point in this scene (and the movie) is Odin enchanting Mjolnir by whispering to it. So nuanced and subtle.
Great scene for sure- top 5. But Cap wielding the hammer when Thor was about to die- right out of the comics- I gotta say is numero uno
😬
😬😬
That worked till endgame for Caotain America
@@williamhager855 Definitely. Still get goosebumps every time.
Chris Hemsworth looks perfectly like Thor in this movie than any other movie.
That's coz they bleached his eyebrows and beard in blonde shade.
@@sergs1963 well when it works...
Strictly speaking from a mythological standpoint, he looked his part in endgame.
@@SAM-pu5nn right forgot about endgame.
Actually he looks the most like thor in endgame, thor was actually fat and untidy
I don't think Thor was wrong at all, when he called himself "Strongest Avenger."
Hulk is infinitely strong. Thor could beat him by fighting with skill rather than emotion but as far as the strongest, it's Hulk.
@@ramirorodriguez9671 you're wrong. :)
Hulk doesn't have infinite or unlimited strength. Thor is factually stronger AND a smarter fighter. The only disadvantage he has is his size.
@@nikhilsachdeva5219 ah, i see you havent read the comics. should start with those before talking ignorantly
@@gunking121 I'm talking according to MCU lore, not comics. If comics were being followed down to the letter in MCU, Thor won't be a dumdum fratboy he became 2 movies later, amongst other things.
You should use your little pea-sized brain for a while and see if you grasp the context before you start talking shit to people.
@@nikhilsachdeva5219 Hulk gets stronger the madder he gets. Even in the movies, Ragnarok, they let you know Hulk is the strongest.
THIS IS THOR! SIf's smile made me cry.
For some reason, the moment that always gets me about this scene is the part at 2:37, with the look Selvig gets on his face...A man of science, finding out firsthand that all the old Norse myths he grew up with were true.
I know a lot of people gave the director and Hemsworth a hard time for this version of Thor and the dyed eyebrows and beard and such, but he has never looked more Thory than this first movie.
He slowly morphed from Thor back into Chris Hemsworth as the movies progressed lol
Wait, people gave a hard time for the looks of how they did this? Because I think it looks amazing.
Then again... People love to complain, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
Dirty Blonde looked better on Chris ngl
With time the doubters were very Thory. chuckle
This is what you were waiting for. This is the scene of redemption and renewal that makes the rest of the movie worth it.
This Movie was so good for Thor’s character development. He went from Arrogant & Spoiled to brave and Heroic and became the Thor we all know and love.
Barely over four minutes, and one of the best scenes in all the MCU movies. Yay Thor! 👊🏻👊🏾👊🏽👊👊🏼👊🏾👊🏽👊🏼
Mr . Hemsworth, i'm 52 years old and it made me shake and cry when i saw you get Thors armor and power back, thanks for that...made my dream come true
Man up.
Now imagine if Thor could wield his FULL power in that moment.
He'd tear The Destroyer apart with his bare hands in an instant. That's how powerful he really is.
hahahahaha ....
Infinity war Thor would literally shit on the destroyer armour.
@@MattDoesLife539 yet Infinity War Thor is still a baby compared to some of his comic book counter parts. Oh how he has fallen in the MCU
Thor has the best character arc in mcu.
He lost his brother, mother, father, sister (even tho he didn't love hela) and broke up with his gf but still He survive until endgame. Can't wait to see thor love and thunder
@@beanboy4900 Comic books have a tendency to make characters far too powerful, it happens all the time. There's a very good reason that the MCU keeps their power levels in check. Otherwise you end up either having to make every single antagonist ridiculous levels of powerful, or you end up with a situation like some shows ( _cough The Flash cough cough_ ) where the heroes power becomes inconsistent.
The moment when not just the mortals were in awe of him, so were the other gods.
A movie clip from a time when Marvel could do great movies...
When you know this wasn't the first time Loki tried to kill his brother. Jeez, their family is effed up.
I love this theme song . They never played this again. This is when Thor was real thor and not a joker
Still gives the chills
This movie is underrated in the MCU and its the Thor that we all want.. not the absolute HIMBO that takes nothing seriously.
A really nice detail here is Thor's posture when he's in the sky, creating the tornady. The same kind of classic pose he makes in the comics. :)
This is the most underrated of the Marvel films. A true heroic epic, beautifully directed. This scene is the best scene in any superhero movie. I saw it in a movie theatre in Hong Kong and the audience stood up and cheered.
As a comic book collector from way back. I remember when he was Dr. Donald Blake with a walking stick. He had to strike it on the ground to power up. Great movie. He learned humility. Odin's plan worked.
I remember the first time I saw this scene. I'm not sure if I shouted Yes!, but if I didn't that went on in my head, because it's just the perfect scene for showing why "with great power, comes great responsibility." And it doesn;t shy away from showing just how powerful Thor and Odin are..
🎥
Also shows how in control of his power Thor was too, notice how all the buildings survived with barely any damage and that neither Thor nor The Destroyer barely moved from their original spots? In later films there wouldn't be anything left standing after that fight.
This is one of those perfect scenes that you can watch over and over and EVERY time you see it you get goosebumps and yell, Yeah!"
The transformation and music was the best part of this movie
Absolutely. Best moment of the movie by far!
I miss *this* Thor.
This was my favorite scene in the "Mighty Thor" film. Losing his powers and later regaining them.
Incostintent part is in Ragnarok we'll learn his powers doesn't come from the hammer
@@onurhayr1937 Well he's not the God of Hammers
I just think it's crazy that this movie came out 11 years ago. Feels like it was yesterday that I was in the theater watching it with my dad and siblings.Time flies.
Thor also flies. lol
What I like is the way he deflect the destroyers beam and closed the gap between them is the same way Thor did against Thanos in infinity stones with stormbreaker
Not only that, he won here because he went for the head, which is the same reason he failed to stop Thanos, it shows how Thor had regressed from the lessons he learned in prior movies trying to avenge Loki
@@UWotM8951 we are real fans seeing the art and appreciate it lol
Gratest times of Thor.We need again this thor.
Felt just yesterday I was watchin this. 11 yrs later. Still recap those moments of intensity.. Marvel. U have made a fan happy.
Despite some negative opinions about this movie, this was by far the best scene in the movie in my opinion. The 2nd. best scene was when Odin stripped Thor of his power. This scene to me was parallel to the classic "Journey Into Mystery" Thor stories when Odin stripped Thor of his power. And then Thor's power returns to him at the brink of death. Despite all of the verbal arguments between Odin and Thor, Odin truly loves his son. And always knew of his worthiness to wield the hammer.
The way he walks out the dust cloud at the end of the clip is probably my fav part of the whole movie
I thought was REALLY cheesey
Do you know any other action movie I can watch Timothy
Oden tears mixed with her tears.
Thor: nearly dies trying to save his friends.
Majonir: my time has come.
Or as the Twelve Doctor would say, "Finally! This is my go..."
Easily the best in the trilogy before he became a comedian. This movie gets slept on but it's one of Marvels best offerings!!
And Thor's tornado power will never be used again.
Hi Derek do you know if I can watch this Movie on Netflix and any other action movie I can watch
Cooldest scene in Marvel
I was sooo waiting on Thor to scream out " I HAVE THE POWER!!!! " when he received the hammer in this fight! Lol
By the power of grayskull!!
I know right his silhouette at 2:34-2:36 is soooo reminiscent of He-Man loved it
Except how many kids wouldn't have gotten that reference and they'd run around thinking it was a Thor original line 🙄
Honestly one of my favorite MCU movies.
THIS IS THE THOR WE NEED MARVEL BRING HIM N GIVE US BACK
I completely forgot he made a whole tornado basically...he never does that again, does he?
2:38 when you grew up on stories and your inner child stood amazed when realizing that the stories are - true
If anyone say what is Goosebumps, show them this 🔥🔥🔥
"Sorry dad, but I broke your Destroyer."
All Loki’s fault 😄😄😄
"He's dead! His heart's stopped..."
Hammer breaks the sound barrier; incoming!
"CLEAR!"
Defibrillator to the _Nth_ degree.
"Oh. My. God."
Yeah, GOD OF THUNDER!
Rise once again Thor,Son of Odin, Prince of Asgard and most of ALL God of Thunder.
When Jane says "oh my God"
Literally he is her God
My favorite scene in this movie!! Thank you
Marvel needs to watch this! "Shall have the power of Thor"? Not shall be Thor!
The ultimate hold my beer moment.
The only movie were Thor was really Thor
One of the most epic moment in all MCU!!!
From this to Thor Love and Thunder, wow, we have come a long way, Gentleman
Loved that scene, really, really loved it!
You should see Jane's smile she was so happy when he transformed in Thor 😘❤.
Man...two of THE MOST BADASS moments in MCU belongs to Thor. This one, and Infinity War when he arrives at Wakanda.
The power of Thor ... shall be yours if you're worthy.
And you left out the best line - “It’s a good look!” - in any Marvel movie? That’s the soul of the scene.
2:07 Sonic boom. This is good attention to detail.
I thought the same thing
First of Thor's epic & mighty entrances in MCU
The should have only revealed Odin's words in that moment. Not before in the Bifrost chamber. Saying it twice kinda stole Odin's thunder.
Which is kind of funny, since Odin stole Thor's thunder.
@@bobdole4916 Lightning, but I think he only loaned it to Thor.

He's soooo cool walking out of the carnage!!!
Da
I know people knock Thor some but I really was a fan of his journey that he had in his four movies and the four Avengers films. Both he and Steve Rogers had really good stories. The others did, too, just that those two tugged more at the heart for what they went through.

The duo of mjlonir and Thor is inseparable.
umm about that....
I love how the doc knows what it is and knows what’s about to happen so goes and gets Jane lol

Yay! Thor got myeuh myeuh back!
Why is Thor my comfort movie? Idk.
But there’s just something about it fr.
What if Tony managed to get hold of the dead Destroyer armor and from there reverse engineered a suit made out of that armor. That would have been an introduction to the Thor buster armor.
No
Best scene EVER!!
So cute Thor🥰💕😜
1:03 i never realized that left a scar i just now noticed it because his scar in the thor love and thunder trailer lines up perfectly
This is the greatest of the first marvel movies besides Avengers
Nah, Iron Man was way better.
Blade was also great and I think actually the first Marvel movie.

When Thor wasn't at the bud end of jokes. It seems like so long ago.
Goosebumps marvel is marvellous
*What happened to this Thor?? BRING HIM BACK!!!* This is Thor, not the BS that Taiki has turned him into. Get rid of Ragnorak and Love and thunder and get rid of Taiki and get somebody else that can bring back the true god of Thunder.
What’s wrong with Thor: Ragnarok? It’s a whole lot better than the first two Thor movies, especially in how Thor is.
When the MCU took itself seriously and didn't make.a joke out of everything.
Exactly. I mean, Hemsworth is good at humor, but not everything has to be a darn joke.
This scene will never get old🥶
It's crazy that this is the only time Thor ever summons a full on lighting tornado.
Imagine Mjolnir went to a Frozen Caps in Hospital instead of THOR 👀👀💀💀
He wasn't worthy at that time. For all we know, his worthiness grew and grew until Endgame
@@simaopinto8521 Cap was always worthy he was just unconscious......Understand some humour man😂
@@Wali.Ullah1234 I totally get your point. But they made Cap "not worthy" in the first movies just to toy with him a little imo😂
There's only worthy and not worthy nothing in between. Cap had always been worthy. In the second movie he just didn't lift it up because mjolnir was resisting him from lifting it because he was not the frontline warrior at that time. But in endgame he was all by himself and was thus the frontline warrior.
@@adivshrivastava1 You guys don't read comics do you?
That scene gets me. If the woman I loved was there at the end, holding my hand, and sorry to lose me then I could happily die. That won't happen since my wife of 33 years hates me but I will be thinking of her when the time comes. And it will come, for all of us.
I feel sorry for you dude. I’m sorry to hear your wife? Ex wife? Hates you. You deserve better. Don’t spend your last moments thinking about someone who hates your guts.
What a cheerful tale.
I wish a woman would love me as much as Jane loved Thor after 2 days of meeting him
Thanks for the buzz kill bro. Lol

If whoever holds the hammer posses the power of Thor, why in Ragnarok did Odin tell him it was never about the hammer as the power was always in Thor?

3:29 That's how he should've aimed for Thanos' head 😆
He wanted Thanos to suffer. A quick death would not have satisfied Thor's quest of vengeance.
