I always went with a walking tank type loadout, so once I decided to be a scout with some randoms, sneaking past patrols, eliminating automaton guards, and destroying structures such as jammers. We had a guy get split off during a massive bot drop right after we finished the last main objective. We had most of the samples and all the side objectives done so during the firefight three of us made it to the extraction, which was a straight shot from the last objective to the point we could still see it, but the fourth guy had to circle. We called in the extraction so it's there by the time he gets back. Then we see him round the corner under a ton of laser fire. One guy drops his sample load and goes out to get him. Me with an auto cannon and another guy with a quasar cannon are on a hilltop doing cover fire. It was like the opening of Tropic Thunder. You honour Super Earth, and the memory of Helldivers passed and present with your resolve. If he were here with us today, Helldiver Burt Gunner would have been proud
You sir are a super citizen. For democracy!
Y'all using open mics or push to talk?
That guy on mute wouldn't have remained my team after that
Lol. V3. I'm usually the guy that almost never dies, but somehow comes out of it looking like I french-kissed a malfunctioning blender.
Berserkers will do that😂
@@ghostofrandom Here's the hilarious bit, I wear light armor. A stiff breeze will take me out, yet I somehow, even after I get ragdolled by some kind of explosive, I get up and keep going. Granted I am convinced my character is a stim junkie now, but still.
@@vasudean Hey, you and I are doing our part to keep the Pharmacutical companies of Super Earth in business, my friend. If I take less than 10 stims during a mission, it's a miracle.
@@vasudean You see, your commitment to maximum mobility actually demonstrated how much more effective mobility is compared to being able to tank hits. Reinforcing the outer layers of the survivability onion (don't get hit) has more value than going a few layers in (don't get penetrated). You don't get chip damage from small arms because your enemies keep missing so you get to use what little health you have on tanking the big hits.
@@vasudean My friends often get to hear 'I AM ON TOO MUCH DRUGS TO DIE MOTHERFUCKERS' when I am running for extraction
This is me with my scout armor after coming back from destroying all remaining enemy spawners and secondary objectives for the final main objective.😂
I had a situation like this happen to me like 2 days ago. By the end of the mission, I extracted with 44 samples (including all 6 super samples from Helldive difficulty) and died 1 or 2 times before I went on my solo sample exploration. I didn't die a single time during the extraction timer, and this was on Menkent, so I had to dodge fire tornadoes as well.

Showing up to the Extraction after dealing with Bug Breaches, Stalkers, chargers and Bile Titans along the way…😅
"How am I still alive?!"
^I have actually said this after surviving at least 20 bugs worth of bug breach and a Bile Titan.
Nothing like a clear view from a far distance of your squad, desperately fighting against the enemies of democracy. Then, back to doing side objectives and clearing POIs.
Me at level 4 meeting up with my level 30 team after they all died and I had to fend off a bile titan, 3 chargers, multiple brood commanders, and a small army of warriors and stalkers while waiting for the reinforcements cooldown to end:
Can't wait for vehicles to come back to this game, we had this sidecar bike in the original game, that's gonna make some missions so much easier!
SSD delivery for one is gonna be a breeze.
Its a nightmare in the current games terrain. I think thats why they arent officially deployed yet.
You think the bots or bugs wouldn't deploy some sort of bullshit to slow us down do you
@@tuellecke1339 What if I'm not a coward? What if I want them to try?
@axios4702 Oh I want to see them try and fail
Light armor and a jump pack and you can outrun most of your problems
Such a classic movie. Just when you thought with no bacon, still bringing it with a solid cast.
1:25 I like that one gun has proper trigger discipline and the other doesn't. You don't see that nowadays.
we need those samples!
Burt: "In terms of ammo, we have no ammo."
This is the part where my teammate of randoms decides to literally leave me behind as I get swarmed by enemies and suddenly find myself pushing the objective by myself!
I never would have guessed how well Temors and Hellfivers go together.
Survies hell, makes it back with supers and loot from minor interest points.
Everyone praises me and thanks me, Then I die 5 seconds later to a rocket scout....
Yup... story of my dives: I can juggle entire bug's breaches or bot's drops...
... and then die to that single, loner, annoying f*cker..........
The "Tremors Detected" popup gives this a lot more context
That, “I’m completely out of ammo,” bit hit home.
"I am completely out of ammo." Gawd I felt that. And the resupply is forever on cooldown when I've got some space. All the little loot spots on the way back have already been cleaned. Literally surviving on EAT's, my guard dog when it's up and RUNNING.
Unrealistic. Didn’t leave me behind with all the samples I collected with 20 min left.
For me it was a 500kg bomb throwin at me from evac... 30 commons 20 rares and all the supers... they of course boarded evac immediately after turning me into a Jackson Pollock painting. Sometimes I understand why people just start shooting their team...
@@Zomboy123456789 I had one game where I kept noticing teammates dying when we weren't near anything, and started to suspect it was one person teamkilling. He had also shot a mob of bots and then left me for dead after aggoing them onto me.
Then at the dropship when we were all getting on, I saw him ADS'ing one of our teammates and I got ready.
A split second after he teamkilled and turned to get on the dropship, I had already one-shotted him with my dominator and gotten on the dropship myself, lol.
“I am completely out of ammo” as a machine gunner I felt that personally
The legend continues! This is probably the first time that the meme hit harder for people that were old enough to understand this reference 25 years ago
"I am completely out of ammo, grenades and stims, because SOMEBODY kept hugging the resupply strat EVEN THROUGH ALL THREE OF YOU HAVE BARELY USED ANY AMMO, GRENADES OR STIMS."
The first couple tremors movies were so much beter than all the others
Poor Bert, he almost had a small life crisis over not having anymore ammunition.
"Well I dropped the first wave of drop ships no problem....then well got the gunship fabricator.
Then they dropped some friggin walker thing I've never seen before...WTF WERE YOU?!"
Tremors 1 and 2 are some of my favorite movies of all time.
Mixed trigger discipline near the end there, one on the guard, the other on the trigger.
Honestly its an inspiring feeling to see a teammate rush off to take a base or side-objective on their own and while you may not hear from them for awhile you finally hear the "Objective Complete" sound.
Son of a bitch actually did it. Good work, Ramirez.
Considering that we are about to get APCs soon, this could play out.
Someone needs to make an animation of this exact scene. 😂
Too bad it will be crap, because arrowhead still can't even make the mechs useful.
BuduwhaaaAAAAAT?!!!
APCS?!?!?!
@@davecrupel2817 Helldivers 2 leaks. It's everywhere that it wasn't much of a surprise. You must be a ninja to dodge the leaks my guy.
@@cube9244 I get on the game with my clanmates, play it, then get off.
That's as far as my interaction with HD goes.
"When that one teammate goes off on their own and doesn't help while the party struggles"
Tremors and Helldivers a wonderful combo..!!
"Something's coming..."
"...oh thank GOD, it's Burt."
Every Helldiver has been in this position at least once, it’s like a rite of passage😂
Michael Gross’ delivery of that first line lives in my head rent free
Had this exact scene pop into my head the other night
Man, I know that feeling to be completely out of ammo for the first time and survive
Me comming back from the sub objective on the other side of the map since everyone else decided to go for the one right next to extraction first!
And that one guy single-handedly destroyed all bug-holes / fabricators, and completed all side missions. While the other 3 do the main objectives.
I always went with a walking tank type loadout, so once I decided to be a scout with some randoms, sneaking past patrols, eliminating automaton guards, and destroying structures such as jammers. This scene is how I felt when I re-grouped with the others after taking out a lot of outposts and sites alone.
One time on Menkent, the shuttle was ordered while I was a whole map length away. Fire tornadoes were everywhere. Automatons were everywhere. I made it back without a bullet left while the shuttle came in. My fellows saluted me that day.
He's completely out of ammo because he knew it would be inappropriate to call a resupply just for himself.
o7 fellow Helldiver
This movie has the best quotes of the whole series
Yep. That's me. Take full advantage of my teammates drawing out the drops to lurk around and stealth things elsewhere(ever since March 6th patch, if the bot reinforcement call isn't on cooldown, even a partial alert via noise and not sight will result in a near-immediate flare)
the completly out of ammo line hits right in my soul
With all the samples
Ooof I feel this clip in my bones
We're all at the chopper and dude is running while under fire and we're all "you get up out of that hole. SURVIVE".
By Liberty's sake he made it back to the waiting transport. We all extracted as a team.
Ngl if you’re running solo all the field ammo boxes, stim packs and grenade refills keep you topped up real well
Every scene with Burt from the first two movies is comedy gold.
They absolutely need to get Micheal Gross in on this game.
The best under ground monster movie series
and im out here in light armor running sssd's cross map alone, stealth makes this game easy
undemocratic behavior! we fight them HEAD ON!
i'm joking, ofc, enjoy the game how you want to :D
That’s how I did the side arm only achievement solo. Still trying on the no death achievement though
@@Thenews75same here. Set it to friends only, found the SSSD mission, and stealth ran it. I love sneaking past bots. 😅
Me and a team of randoms crawled across a map last night to extraction......it wasn't going so well for us.
"completely out of ammo" is why las weapons are so popular
A buncha pretenders out here in the comments. If you’re off solo hunting points of interest and secondary objectives you never run out of ammo. There’s ammo boxes at 90% of these. You’ll maybe run out of stims and grenades. Never ammo.
When the SHTF, if you can't be Bert, you had better hope you're friends with him.
0:50 me against the Terminids
“I have ran out of ammo… that’s never happened to me before.”
Only happened to me once. Then after that time I just run around with the supply backpack.
Im so happy that this movie was used for a meme
Im V3 (Level 114 warming up on Extreme difficulty with a group of level 15s)
"I am completely out of ammo... That's never happened to me before." That's how you know he's not a veteran Helldiver. Every single Helldiver that has ever lived has heard those dreadful words before
"Out of ammo!"
I used to be that guy. But now high command has cut costs and the war effort has been severely compromised. Its time to unionize and revolt.
being completely out of ammo by the end of the run just means you dispatched MAXIMUM DEMOCRACY
Literally me
I'm that one guy, but the team comes to me while I'm in the middle of nowhere.
Reminds me of the time some bastard across the map kept spawning in the supply drop and took all 4 of them several times in a row and never told anyone it was being dropped nor that he was calling in the supply drop, and everytime anyone wanted to call it in, it was already called, we didn't know who was calling it in at first and eventually got our revenge, but during that lack of ammo time I was alone and ran out of ammo, hoped from minor interest to minor interest for ammo, and had several dozen melee kills on the small riff raff cause all my ammo belonged in the bigger guys faces
The worst is being thanked while asking for help and dropping a pin 😂
Don't worry guys, the SEAF Artillery is up and running.
