Great video! I loved seeing each shade on the eyes, it made a huge difference! I’m not sure if you’ve tried yet, but I personally love the Laura Mercier caviar stick eyeshadows- they never crease and are so easy to swipe on. There are quite a few in the collection that make great one and done shades, but I think you would like amethyst and maybe moonlight!
Sadly I decluttered all of my eyeshadow sticks because they fade and crease on me! All of them :/ Laura mercier, Bobbi brown, kiko, etc. So frustrating!

Thanks for recommending MAC Amorous Alloy. I use it over every eyeshadow look I do. It blends and refines the look. While it looks coppery in the pan it becomes the perfect bronze on my fair skin with blue green eyes. Works under the eyes as well. I'm buying a dozen.
I love using my bronzer on my eyes for a quick pulled together look. I think a blush for your eyes video would be cool! Very monochromic and easy for people on the go!

This was fun and now I'm going to try some of these shadows. I surprised that you didn't mention Mac Mulch eyeshadow. It's beautiful with a red undertone, but it comes out almost neutral. I wear it almost everyday and you might like it too.
Loved this! I’ve gotten so many great ideas from you, like Amber Rush. I just got the stila shimmer & glow liquid eyeshadow in grace and am loving it-it’s that Kosas globe-ish taupe-y champagne-y shade that looks so pretty on you. A similar shade in a different formula I’ve also been enjoying is revlon colorstay in caramel. If you haven’t tried it, it’s kind of like maybelline colour tatoo but a lot creamier/less stiff. I’ve also been living in the new chantecaille eye/cheek shade in Ray (the one in fluorescent packaging) but it’s hard to recommend bc of the price. Would LOVE a video on blushes/bronzers that make good one and done shadows! 💕💕❤️

I'm really loving the Super Shock formula this summer. I layer them over my eyeshadow primer, and they wear so beautifully. I don't like a really heavy or full eye look when it's so ungodly hot and humid and these are perfect. Rooftop Cocktails is my favorite, but I'm going to need A Little Quarky.
Same! The super shocks are an absolute staple in my routine. A Little Quarky would definitely be on my top 5 list if I had to narrow this down to only a few favorites. It's worth it.

Can’t believe you applied every eye shadow, thank you, it’s so helpful! I have found since Covid and working from home I’m a one and done fan and don’t know how to apply multiple eye shadows anymore. I have gone through multiple pans of Mac ‘all that glitters’ and love Mac paint pot in ‘groundwork’ when I want something on my eyes but without shimmer. I definitely need to try out some of your recommendations, especially the chantecaille!

I'm very much a one-and-done eyeshadow lady right now, because it's summer and honestly can't be bothered half the time. (Phytosurgence rules!) I also really like the Ash & Ember Eye Soot in Cultist from Rituel de Fille, but their weird little pots definitely cause some application issues for folks with nails. I always enjoy every bit of your content. Thanks for all you do.
I loved the Rituel de Fille eye soot formula but ended up decluttering it because the packaging was too tiny for my to get my finger in with nails on. Man if they changed it it would be a HIT. And thank you so much!
Kait, all of the ones you chose suit you beautifully! I’ve been holding onto a big collection from the 90s and early 2000s from which my favorites are. New Moon is included and is being worn today on top of the blush I applied first to my eyes. I also use it as a bit of highlight in areas. The collection of Georgio Armani Eyes to Kill in the little jars like LOREAL Amber rush, I love them so much! They are all numbered with some having names like the beetle collection. Chanel illusion D’Ombre in Epatant is another fave. It’s not green, blue, gray or silver or champagne.. is just gorgeous. Tom Ford’s cream shadows aren’t really available anymore either but I would have totally sent a spice, beach, Sphinx, midnight violet, platinum and opale as well burnished copper your way!! In recent times, using what I already have is important to me. I CAN recommend julep eyeshadow sticks. Every color works easily basically without touching it hardly at all and you’re done, looking professional. Super easy and they go on extreme sales so you can literally scoop them all up. Ginger, matte, Caramel matte, Pearl, Golden something, copper, rose, khaki and amethyst smoke are super gorgeous! Well, whichever I pick up and use, I love. Highly recommend. Good ingredients. Good to eyes. Stayed until washed. Effortless. I hope you take a look! 🪴

I’ve switched for that reason (trying not to ignore the expensive past ones and still use a bit) The julep are my favorite now. They glide like a dream, have a lovely Pinter sponge on the back end, and it just sets it so nicely! Searching them is so fun because every color is beautiful! I feel one can’t go wrong! 😘

Love this and they all look stunning on you! I love the Phytosurgence Flash Florescence in Magnetic Maple, ColourPop in Ritz, the Lisa Eldridge in Anjelica, and my favorite of all the Chantecaille in Shimmering Grey Taupe (Elephant) it is a beautiful one and done and even works as a great base for shadows that need a boost! Please don’t tell me if they’ve been bad I can’t live without that shadow lol

I love how well-loved and well-used your collection is! I have the Rimmel wonderclouds in a few colours- they are so easy to use and super easy to get hold of here in England. Conversely though, we can’t get those L’Oreal shadows or colour pop 😢

Love one and done shadows! Agree that CT EtM shadows are amazing. I have Bette and Chocolate Bronze and based on your recommendation bought Pillow Talk shade as well. These are my most used cream shadows. When you tried on the Rimmel shadow, the color reminded me of Smashbox’s Always on cream shadow in Sepia. It comes in a squeeze tube but very easy to get a small amount and once it’s set, it’s set like the Rare Beauty shadows. They have other colors that I think you’d be into like Guava and Sienna. Sorry to hear your channel is having a slump, I enjoyed your vlogs and clothing videos, so please don’t stop doing those. You, HLP and Amanda Z are the only ones I watch for makeup reviews. Please don’t get discouraged! Stay true to who you are. 🌸✨🌈

Chantecaille starfish mermaid colour is absolutely stunning! Like woodwinked it looks like two different colours. I also really like multiple of the Kaja beauty bento boxes to use as a one and done, so shimmery! And the classic Lancôme Erika F mono eyeshadow, it’s now numbered 203 iridescent, a beautiful /green/taupe colour
Great video Kait! Would definitely love to see a video on blush and or bronzer. I mix both starting with the bronzer in my crease then add blush, using the shade I’m wearing, on my lid or outer brow bone which gives a great cohesive look. Mob Beauty has a bronzer that has a reddish undertone which I’ve never seen before and it’s very flattering on anyone with fair skin.
Taupe-y cool toned shimmery colors are my go to one and done. I have so many but i always want more LOL! I feel like I am always on the hunt for the perfect one!

I'm really loving the Super Shock formula this summer. I layer them over my eyeshadow primer, and they wear so beautifully. I don't like a really heavy or full eye look when it's so ungodly hot and humid and these are perfect. Rooftop Cocktails is my favorite, but I'm going to need A Little Quarky.
Same! The super shocks are an absolute staple in my routine. A Little Quarky would definitely be on my top 5 list if I had to narrow this down to only a few favorites. It's worth it.
This video made me feel much better about the fact that I have so many brown and gold eyeshadows. IYKYK.

Can’t believe you applied every eye shadow, thank you, it’s so helpful! I have found since Covid and working from home I’m a one and done fan and don’t know how to apply multiple eye shadows anymore. I have gone through multiple pans of Mac ‘all that glitters’ and love Mac paint pot in ‘groundwork’ when I want something on my eyes but without shimmer. I definitely need to try out some of your recommendations, especially the chantecaille!

I find myself focusing so much more on palettes because of my Instagram, but one-and-done shadows have such a special place in my heart and get me genuinely excited to hear about and try. All of these look gorgeous on you! I need to finally grab Amber Rush and I will be trying that shade in my Em Cosmetics palette asap!!

I'm very much a one-and-done eyeshadow lady right now, because it's summer and honestly can't be bothered half the time. (Phytosurgence rules!) I also really like the Ash & Ember Eye Soot in Cultist from Rituel de Fille, but their weird little pots definitely cause some application issues for folks with nails. I always enjoy every bit of your content. Thanks for all you do.
I loved the Rituel de Fille eye soot formula but ended up decluttering it because the packaging was too tiny for my to get my finger in with nails on. Man if they changed it it would be a HIT.

Kait, all of the ones you chose suit you beautifully! I’ve been holding onto a big collection from the 90s and early 2000s from which my favorites are. New Moon is included and is being worn today on top of the blush I applied first to my eyes. I also use it as a bit of highlight in areas. The collection of Georgio Armani Eyes to Kill in the little jars like LOREAL Amber rush, I love them so much! They are all numbered with some having names like the beetle collection. Chanel illusion D’Ombre in Epatant is another fave. It’s not green, blue, gray or silver or champagne.. is just gorgeous. Tom Ford’s cream shadows aren’t really available anymore either but I would have totally sent a spice, beach, Sphinx, midnight violet, platinum and opale as well burnished copper your way!! In recent times, using what I already have is important to me. I CAN recommend julep eyeshadow sticks. Every color works easily basically without touching it hardly at all and you’re done, looking professional. Super easy and they go on extreme sales so you can literally scoop them all up. Ginger, matte, Caramel matte, Pearl, Golden something, copper, rose, khaki and amethyst smoke are super gorgeous! Well, whichever I pick up and use, I love. Highly recommend. Good ingredients. Good to eyes. Stayed until washed. Effortless. I hope you take a look! 🪴

I’ve switched for that reason (trying not to ignore the expensive past ones and still use a bit) The julep are my favorite now. They glide like a dream, have a lovely Pinter sponge on the back end, and it just sets it so nicely! Searching them is so fun because every color is beautiful! I feel one can’t go wrong! 😘

One of my fav one and done is Cover Girl Tapestry Taupe. Its an oldie but such a pretty cool deep taupe. Just found your channel and loving it!

I love the Phytosurgence Flash Florescence in Magnetic Maple, ColourPop in Ritz, the Lisa Eldridge in Anjelica, and my favorite of all the Chantecaille in Shimmering Grey Taupe (Elephant) it is a beautiful one and done and even works as a great base for shadows that need a boost! Please don’t tell me if they’ve been bad I can’t live without that shadow lol

I love how well-loved and well-used your collection is! I have the Rimmel wonderclouds in a few colours- they are so easy to use and super easy to get hold of here in England. Conversely though, we can’t get those L’Oreal shadows or colour pop 😢

Love one and done shadows! Agree that CT EtM shadows are amazing. I have Bette and Chocolate Bronze and based on your recommendation bought Pillow Talk shade as well. These are my most used cream shadows. When you tried on the Rimmel shadow, the color reminded me of Smashbox’s Always on cream shadow in Sepia. It comes in a squeeze tube but very easy to get a small amount and once it’s set, it’s set like the Rare Beauty shadows. They have other colors that I think you’d be into like Guava and Sienna. Sorry to hear your channel is having a slump, I enjoyed your vlogs and clothing videos, so please don’t stop doing those. You, HLP and Amanda Z are the only ones I watch for makeup reviews. Please don’t get discouraged! Stay true to who you are. 🌸✨🌈

YES! Love this video! And it inspired me to dig some of these out of the back of my drawer because I had not used them in a while. I totally agree on the Danessa Myricks - LOVE the formula, but would love additional color options in bronze/taupe shades.
Right? I feel like the Danessa Myricks shades are so bright and fun but the line doesn't really have any "wearable" colors for a minimal makeup lover

Chantecaille starfish mermaid colour is absolutely stunning! Like woodwinked it looks like two different colours. I also really like multiple of the Kaja beauty bento boxes to use as a one and done, so shimmery! And the classic Lancôme Erika F mono eyeshadow, it’s now numbered 203 iridescent, a beautiful /green/taupe colour

Great video Kait! Would definitely love to see a video on blush and or bronzer. I mix both starting with the bronzer in my crease then add blush, using the shade I’m wearing, on my lid or outer brow bone which gives a great cohesive look. Mob Beauty has a bronzer that has a reddish undertone which I’ve never seen before and it’s very flattering on anyone with fair skin.
