I do like that jig you've made, simple and effective. - Probably going to have a go at making one of those myself.

Your videos are always fun and yet uniquely informative. Love the "probably won't use any of this..."

    Hello my friend,
Nice ideas with compression clamps. I also made straight and cross cut slides from these clamps. I am still using it. Thank you for sharing. I wish the new year brings you health, happiness and luck. See you. Big greetings...

I liked the ghostly montage in the middle

Me too, I love how that came together. Most of the random edits like that no one notices.

That'll work! Geez that is going to save some time and mucking about. Hopefully you'll knock those out hours and hours faster now.

I think you should have used thinner stock for the jig. Like 1/4’’ MDF for the base and maybe 1/2” for the top. But good job, gives me an idea

6mm and 13mm mdf are too thin with far too much flex to be very useful in this application. Also, with such thin bits of material the angled part would end up being too narrow to properly support the staves through the blade. I hope your idea works out though!

Do you sell that jig? Do you sell your snares?

I do sell my snares, but not my jigs. I’ll be doing up some plans for the jigs though that’ll be available through my merch shop eventually. It’s be on the list of things to do for a while now actually…
