guys stop complaining about the price, this stuff is for institution and company, we retail are not meant for this unless you can buy it, simply we are not their market. Great job there FSC keep it up!
and when this thing is broken do we need to send it to Toulouse for repairs?
indeed :D
LMAO
lol
It’s £4000!!!!!!!!!!!
Why do they hate me?!
The worst part is that you can buy an actual sidestick for 1500 euros
eduardo Martínez Juárez really?
A Sidestick for the real plane is about 80'000 $.
@@eduardomartinezjuarez7849 and then you can add potentiometers and a joystick encoder to it.
@@HBZERaviation Maybe. Those 1000 euros sidesticks are sold for flight simulation after being retired. Somebody posted on his blog a retired sidestick he got from an a340 due to a little crack on the frame. Feedback is created by hydraulic dampers, so it is there even when the sidestick isn't working. I don't know anything about interfaces, but the output signal created by those transducers is a logarithmic function
I love Airbus and I prefer yoke at the same time :v
Me too
Me too bro
Me too
I used to agree with you guys, but not anymore. In term of pilots comfort, the side-stick definitely wins. Some people prefer the yoke also because they think they will be holding it using both hands, which is also incorrect because the second hand needs to be on the throttle. In terms of safety the yoke definitely wins, because both pilots can see and feel when the other moves the yoke, the worst happened with an air France plane that crashed because lack of communication when both pilots moved the side-stick to different direction one forward snd the other one backward, it resulted in a stall because of the improper training of one of the pilots killing everyone on board.
Same
Damn so many people are commentating that this is more expensive than their pc. Guys this is for professional flight simulators, not for guys who want to play p3d in their child's room.
Don't professional flight simulators get their parts from airbus themselve?
This is more expensive than an actual Airbus sidestick
Not really. In the description it says for flight simulation users
@@outside7 This is for those commercial sims like iPilot has. Full cockpit replica, as realistic as possible, that anyone can rent for an hour or two. Still costs many times less per hour than the certified full motion rig from Thales that airlines use.
That joystick is bigger than my actual pc.
4000? ATPL included?
lmao
Feel like i can buy an actual airbus with that kinda money
How do you plan to enter a vast flightsim market with something that cost more than a damn car.... good luck selling them.. may sell to airlines for their sims only...
becuse is for people who wants to build their own airbus a320 simulator in their house, not for people who only wants to fly p3d or xplane
Ben ST2
They’re not trying to enter a general flight sim market though. They’re competing in the high end/professional market.
@@krazy4940 Check out their description 😂
Ben ST2
What about it? I see nothing about providing something for everyone.
They are selling this to the professional sim pilots, not to people who plays IF
3.614€ lol 😂 And the %22 VAT is not even included hahahahha Good luck selling it to Airbus itself!
Real thing probably costs at least twice as much, and you can't even get it :D
@@rkan2 pretty much, you do find used Sidestick assembly's on eBay for around 3500$ so its at least as much as this
The Russians will use it for their 'stolen' airbusses.
Can't wait to add this to my setup!
It costs 5000 euros damn
@@1312_PV Wanted to buy a car but... The color was awful anyway;)
That is one side stick thats for sure
MCP = FCU
At first I thought this was for a flight sim. Then I figured it was for a real airbus since I did hear they were improving their sidestick. But then I realized it IS for a simulator. OMG. I hope it’s intended for the simulators the pilots actually train on and not for some dude in his man cave.
It can be purchased by some dude in his man cave.
There is No mcp in Airbus, its called "FCU"
Don't worry guys! Here's the solution for our problemu ;) only about 100 euro with AIRBUS license :D
Hopefully ThrustMaster will see this and sell a force feed back version 500.00
force feed back on a flightstick?
More like vkb or virpil. Thrustmaster is shite and the warthog is outdated. You get dampening like that on the vkb nxt evo, a €180 stick.
Its €5000 but i guess youd want a super accurate representation
i7 9800x - TRX 2080 Ti - 64gb RAM
3x 40" curved monitors
2x 30" instrument touchscreens.
Yoko flight yoke
Thrustmaster pendular rudders
Honeycomb Bravo throttle quadrant.
Approximately the same price as this.
What if the locking mechanism fails to unlock after the autopilot is switched off??
irvin mufuh you can override it by force
Makss like if you move the stick hard enough it disengages?
If you move the stick hard enough you override the lock, yes... and even if that fails then you still have the other side stick to work with.
And what are the chances that two mechanical parts, spring loaded open, held closed only by a solenoid, both break in a way that you can't pull it apart?
What does that trigger in the real A320 side-stick?
Yon Law I believe push to talk
@@hyperionwarrior1958 correct
Well when you make something that costs more than a PC, then good luck selling it.
It's not meant for at home use, it's meant for institutions and companies.
I don't get it though, why not just get the real thing instead, the original sidestick, if precision and feel is your goal?
Because there is practically no way to connect a real side stick to your computer.
@@examplewastaken there is, with a raspberryPi or similar, if you're knowledgeable enough. You just have to convert the signals from the transducers inside the stick into digital data that a PC can interpret via USB.
Awesome! Give one to me pls! :)
pray to god and keep praying :) ihope you will have that
@@enderstick8282 Haha true! I really forgot about this comment, and i really don't why i requested it 🤣🤣🤣
@@marceltrips14 😅 i hope you will get what u want.. amen..
Why am I watching this???
Only 737 yoke...But anyway it looks very interesting for airbus lovers)))
I love Airbus and I prefer yoke at the same time
Me too
just curious. What does an airbus use a trigger for?
The trigger behind the sidestick is the radio push to talk.
Shooting missiles
Nice!
ismail1295- Roblox I hardly see a difference
@@khalidabdulghani That's the goal since it's a replica
Wtf I thought it would cost less than 500 dollars but omg 4000. I'm done
I'm sticking with my 300€ FSProjects sidestick, sorry.
Any giveaway?
It’s better to have unbranded which cost less and does work . No need for precise control
you can buy an real airplane with that price haha 😂
o.k.
@@_djengis joke?
1500$ no 2000$ YES +VAT 23% = 2460$
3.600€ 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
with this amount of money I can buy an RC Airbus 340
i mean, i'd rather spend that money on pilot training and then get to fly an ACTUAL airbus.
Add 2 more zeroes on the price and you can actually do that lol
Music is bad, so lame
Your lame
