Taylor wanted the original album songs to be as close as possible to the original album, but the vault songs she wanted to be more creative in the production. She had Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner help her with the production of the vault songs.
See the vault songs sound more country then fearless original which I love but if feels more debut except Mr perfectly fine that’s more speak now

I think you missed If This Was A Movie (Taylor's Version). I can't blame you though, Taylor originally released it in Speak Now, and then she decided to kidnap her and put her in the Fearless Era.

Regarding your comments after Mr. Perfectly Fine... She's currently with a rich, famous player from NFL so we can gather that he's not in it for her money or fame. He also talks about her like a beautiful, polished trophy. So they're both showing heavy interest in each other 😂❤

We Were Happy has a syncopation like it is coming undone that the waltz tempo provides that plays against a slightly faster vocals as if it's falling apart. Love it. I am so glad to know you love a melancholy song the way I do. Harmonies are so beautiful.

It seems like her team may have not loved some of these with how non country they sounded. Don't You is my favourite vault track from all the rerecordings. I doubt she's changed the production on them too much especially since we know what some sounded like since the original version of Fearless and Reds vaults have since leaked
But she did change Girl At Home and I doubt Don't You actually sounded like that for example

The time Taylor recorded these vault tracks from Fearless tv was when she produced evermore album. I guess that's why some of those tracks don't sound like country and more like indie songs.
And 1989 tv and Midnights were also recorded during the same period, that's why the vault tracks sound so similar
The more I listen to Bye Bye Baby, the more I think that it's about her previous label or Scott Borchetta. Like just the whole chorus alone. You took me home but you just couldn't keep me? Hello? I know this must've been written a long time ago that's why it's in the vault but it still fits! And to put this as the book end of the very first re-recorded album?! Love.
I'm pretty convinced the Vault Songs are not so Vault-y, besides the productions there’s something that tells me they're more “inspired-by” than truly leftovers from each era, i noticed it more on the 1989 tracks

@@user-mz2ne4yh2tI don’t think that’s the case cause alot of the vault songs we already have demos of from back in the day, and bye bye baby which was originally called One Thing is one of them so it’s not plausible that’s about big machine.

The thing with Vault tracks is that we don't know the OGs, so she has nothing to be faithful to, no expectations to correspond to. So she can change production however. Don't You is SUPER Midnights
