Thanks very much, I'll miss them too. They are such underrated EMUs, its a shame Southeastern didn't take these. The bugged out announcements on these always get me, though I miss the old 'The door buttons are now activated' ones back in the 458/0 days.
@@CHOO-CHOOPlane yes I miss that a lot as well, especially when it got the stations wrong! One time when it got the wrong and the guard had to explain what was coming up, when he got to Winnersh Triangle (which the train was due to run through fast as it was an evening peak service), he said, "Winner Rectangle"!
Lucky that you managed to get 458535 before it was stopped in Clapham Yard and out of service for nearly two years (It came back around June 2022 I think). In my opinion 535 is the loudest and nicest sounding of the lot
It's lovely how they're being used again. The old terminal is about to become a shopping mall, and will include more ways of getting on the Underground.
@@trainspottersouth Sadly no operator is taking on the 458/5s. Southeastern were to take on these but took on the 707s instead. I do think the 458/5s could go to Scotland since they have a similar fleet of Junipers
Those are amazing Alstom Coradia Juniper trains, Its a shame they replaced it with South Western Railway. These trains sound exactly like the 334's we have up in Scotland. except they have pantographs, and they are smooth.
Nice motor sounds
Lovely video mate. Gotta love the sounds of these great units. I will certainly miss them when they go. Also listen to the announcement at 1:10:56 lol

Oh those were the days!
It is you! I love your videos

Hi awesome buses and trains
Strange to see trains come out of the old international station
Danny Read yes Eurostar has moved to St Pancras and South Western Railway have renovated the platforms

I think southern may take the 458s either to replace 455s or 313s!
I think they'd look cool in White and Green.
Ted Lishman they look relatively similar to 377s so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.
train.spotter.south I think Southern might take on the 458s, I’m not sure why

I like Barnes, Barnes is my favourite station on the Waterloo-Reading Line
What was the number of that SWR liveried Class 450
first :D great vid

Jay Patel it’s a 1 hour+ video. How do you know it’s a good video? 😁

No trains in this video have pantographs?
@@thetelephoneprankster4254 Well, no trains in this video have pantographs, but the 334's in Scotland have pantographs.;
Do you reckon some people would be confused finding out that your at London Waterloo and there's a train going to London Waterloo.
The New Routemaster is a Class 458 in disguise
Screeching Juniper for 1 hour... Hmmm sounds interesting.....😯😯😯
is no one going to mention the two 442s?
The sound at 0:19 is kinda creepy tho lol
Hi
Train open for MEOW
(again)
I prefer 707s to them
