As long as one avoids fats, oils, and greases (F.O.G.), can one put this on an infinite loop, so long as none of the water goes to the kitchen sink or dishwasher? Thanks!
I'm trying to understand recycling and I'm confused about dishwater specifically. All literature mentions laundry, shower, wash water. Will this handle water with food particles from washing dishes? Do you still need special soaps and detergents, or will it handle those fine? Is this handling blackwater at all, or is actual sewage a separate problem? These things are really unclear and feel almost deliberately vague
Hi Michael, We generally consider kitchen water as blackwater due to organics (BOD) and FOG (fats, oils, and grease). The Aqualoop is designed for the greywater sources indicated in the video. We are developing use of Aqualoop for kitchen waste with some additional front end treatment for FOG.
@@ecoviewater My intention has been to build a tiny house on wheels that is self sustainable without having to hook up to anything, or deal with tanks. Incinerating toilets take care of the other sewage problem, but dishwater continues to be the difficult one. Is it correct then that no BOD and FOG recycling system actually exists, from anyone? How long until we can expect your development of this system to be available? It's incredibly frustrating that so little progress has been made on these things, I kind of thought they'd been solved years ago until I looked into building my own.
@@Elerius We are doing exactly was you are describing for another tiny home company. Even though greywater typically does not include kitchen water, we have a pre treatment that makes it work. Please contact us at info@ecoviewater.com for details.
@@bobdrew7393 Understood, but you are talking power and I'm talking energy. Energy (kwh) is what we see on our electricity bill, not power (watts). So how many watt-hours or kilowatt-hours a day?

I like the “sounds” of that.
This is true. If FOG is below about 100 PPM, it may be treated in this system.
