@@stonks6616 I played the first Wargame in the series right when it came out in 2012, back when I was 15years old - but back then there were many less units and I was highly interested in modern weaponry. It is most definitely on the harder side of the game when it comes to getting into - you need to know a lot of units to be successful in multiplayer and some mechanics that require getting to know about them.
Both sides did a A job with armor and arty micro, seriously that amount of arty would make me panic. However recon and infantry micro wasn’t really good, especially with red. Where’s the inf recon down the middle? Or hell if you want to use armor recon use the M84 recon version, don’t throw t-55’s and bmd3’s against heavies and SH
i bought war game for 6.50 after seeing one of your vids, normally i torrent all games but ofc this is online so i decided to buy it. seems steep learning curve, but i ll see if i can improve vs the AI firstly, if i get to the point where i destroy them rather than the opposite then i ll consider investing more time and money (:
Helo rush on the left side of the map will always arrive first on the opposing sector then any enemy transports. If you want proof i've got plenty of replays proofing that. Most effective way to counter such an helo drop is to immediatly bomb the initial push. keep your aa on a safe distance if you notice that the transport helos that they came with (if they are armed with rocketpods, my preference the mi-17 or panthers) are still grounded. If you come too close the enemy might wanna try and target them first leaving you defenceless against the remaning rockets which on the mi-17 can wipe out you entire infantry push out within 10 seconds. Bringing some aa helo's yourself is also recommended to prevent such an push. A bit of shame to see someone back of on a helo rush like that Stealth als je geintreserd bent in een replay comment maar

After Wargame Red Dragon Eugen moved on to Steel Division, which is set in WWII Normandy and bit more complex. That in turn is being supplemented with Steel Division II which just came out and which covers East Front 1944 (Operation Bagration). Both look good if you want a slower version of WRD
