I've worked and lived in a city that is much worse than KL, that's Mumbai. I've seen worst traffic in Delhi, Bangkok, Jakarta etc.

You've highlighted many of the issues that Malaysian on the road face daily but there's one thing about Malaysian that I really can't understand is mat rempit. Those are the road hooligans that break the road rules with their noisy and speed defiance, just obstreperous.

Oh yes, I have been there. Very bad, haha. And Manila is also - absolutely chaotic :-)

Oh yes. But you see, I think the Mat Rempit do what they can do, as they might believe they have nothing else. It is the one thing that they are good at. Imagine they would use their skills more productively?

Wait until you try to drive a car in Thailand and Indonesia

I drove in Indonesia when I stayed there from 1995-1998. It was crazy at that time already, but from what I heard, it got even crazier. Any story to relate? I have been in Bangkok many times, and never experienced it that crazy. Is it crazy? Thank you for sharing your thoughts :-)
