- Singapore to KL! We chose to travel from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur by bus - an easy ride overland. The trip required us to pass thru Malaysia immigration at the Singapore-Malaysia border. You should visit the Malaysian bus terminal, the Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (a.k.a TBS) at Kuala Lumpur, you will be blown away by its facilities.

One problem I have with the bazaar is the repetition of the food and the quality (a lack thereof).

Despite being less developed than Singapore, Kuala Lumpur is way more beautiful and full of life. Both are great cities but I liked KL more.

The reason for that not-so-modern immigration checkpoint on the Malaysian side is because there are actually two entry points between Singapore and Malaysia. You exited via Tuas on the Singapore end and so you came over to the older terminal on the Malaysian side. Usually, 95% of buses use the Woodlands exit in Singapore and then when you enter Malaysia you'd be in an ultra modern terminal, which is slightly even bigger than Woodlands.

The meals served onboard the coach was not bought at the convenience store at the gas station. It was specifically contracted from a catering company (Killiney).

The tv monitor is actually working, It is the coach entertainment system that streams various movies and variety programmes. The reason why you were unable to view it is because the coach was still in Singapore and due to Singapore strict regulations on copyright issues, the entertainment system in the bus will only be allowed to turn on once the coach crossed the border.
Oh wow!!!! How interesting! Thanks for letting me know. The bus company should inform this to passengers... I bet many people like me just check once and then give up...
Some operators do inform the passengers on this issue upon departure from the Singapore terminus, as well as upon arrival at the Singapore checkpoints.

So glad i have seen this vlog me and the wife are flying to singapore for a week and then flying back from KL after 4 days there i was going to get us a flight to KL but after watching that we are going to book the same one that you did thank you very much all the way from the UK

I am a little late. They have many buses all day long when they are running. Not sure about 4am but I remember 6am. Easybook is where we purchased our tickets online. I hope that helps
