I never comment on videos but this time I have to, after discovering your channel I started drawing again and enjoying it. I even stopped working as an artist some time ago because I just couldn’t make art anymore. It was just like gasping for air underwater, I couldn’t do it but I needed it so badly. Now it’s like I’m kid again, making art for me and for fun. So thank You ❤

Can't wait for the next episode! In the past I used to be anxious about the first page of a sketchbook, then at some point I started drawing myself there in every new one. It's cool to look back and not only see how my style and medium preferences change, but also my appearance!
Yay! Thank you 🥲 i also struggle with that. I am now three spreads / six pages into the sketchbook and still havent even touched the first page xD
i never draw on the first page, because of that fear. i use the first page for a " (name) sketchbook if lost ..." kind of thing.

This is super interesting! I agree with the idea of getting out there & getting inspiration by living, ig I just gotta find a way to get started bc i tend to get stalled quite a bit lol😅

Yeah my sketchbooks are a mix of pen and pencil works. If something hits me I have to draw it right then and there cause I don’t trust my memory to retain all the ideas that pop into my head.

I have.. 5 unused sketchbooks? All with different plans for what i’m putting in them 😂 I’m finally starting one of em so i can use my new gouache paint without ruining the paper of the one i carry around. Maybe I’ll get to the other 4 some day..

There’s noticeable issue when check my sketchbook, some of my drawings got smudge all over and same thing color pencils, so if you have any tips for avoid that.
Thats a good point. Sometimes i have to place a scrap piece of paper in between pages, but also i try to use colored pencils that are a good balance of saturated / but dont have too much fallout if that makes sense!
